1. think he has since removed the tweet saying that though, or at the least i  just cant see it now
2. guys its not Sol lol, whoever started this was having a laugh.Lakey said he didnt recognise the guy but someone else in the office told him it looked like rob edwards. im sure he would recognise Campbell, quite hard not too
3. he doesnt recognise him, that is what his most recent tweet said, although i went back on just now and couldnt see that tweet on his profile anymore, its prob still there i just dont really understand twitter.o he said he looks like rob edwards, i dont even know who rob edwards is
4. compleatly agree with you. I hate to say it but i hope Ipswich win all those games against the teams around us. I think they will get a draw tuesday night and that will be a good result. QPR are going to start slipping down the table and i think Forest may start pulling away, until we give them a good drumming
5. Was that Drury and R Martin''s worse games for us this season would you say? i still think its a worry that Drury gets shown up by this pacey wingers, Martin has a couple times too but usually he looks good against pacey wingers- made Bellamy look average and kept him quiet all day
6.
Embarrassing and an indication of being a big time Charlie. The sooner managers clamp down on this behaviour the better thus making these ego tripping camera grabbers realise they are part of a team... not a bloody front man for a rock band. It''s not big and it''s not clever.
yeah they should just be robots and not be allowed to celebrate- don''t be so ridiculus football is already being killed by regulation, let the polayers celebrate how they want as long as they dont wind up opposite fans.I do think Lansbury has a big arrogant steek but if he keeps performing like this could be what we need to reach promotion
7. Nice to read some proper responses. The reason i compared them is because i think Nelson is more reliable, for me Ward has to many lapses in concentration, you cant question the fact he is better than Nelson on the floor, i would argue Nelson wins the aerial battleDidn''t realise either Lambert had someone lined up or seems to from what he said in the press conference. I have faith in him to find someone, i just thought it was a real shame as a rated Nelson. I hope it does prove to be nothing and my worries are not going to be justified. I am confident of a good performance against Leeds tommorrow anyway, a nice 3 1 victory- yes please!
8. My faith in lambert in Norwich has not dropped guys, my point is i think its one of his biggest mistakes, thats the point of this thread not to criticse what he has done for this club. he may have been great for us but i can still pull up a mistake if i want, thats part being a football fan. im bringing up what i saw as annoying and i was frustrated when came back and saw Barnetts injury. I honestly dont think people read all my comments on this thread before replying, i am not a city slagger and appreciate how well we are doing.I am trying to get a discussion going, why does it have to turn into people being dicks. If you dont agree with what i am saying then make a good point like a few people on here do, you wouldn''t just start slagging someone off if this was in a pub
9. This is to planet X by the wayYeah great job the the man in that game! Did us a great favour, but thats more hindsight than anything i am saying.I will be surprised if we see his transfer being anymore than what we paid for Wilbraham, the only thing that will push it up is how desperate Scunny would have been for a CB
10. guys a couple of you are overreacting a bit to what i said.Dont get me wrong i think Lambert is the best thing that has happened to norwich in my time of supporting them. I am just saying in my view i think this is his first major wrong decision as manager and i think his heart ruled his head on this matter.Nexus i am surprised to see where we are in the league but in all honesty over half the season has gone, we obviously deserve to be here if we don''t finish in the top 6 i will be disapointed because of the position we have put ourselves in. We cant rely on the underdog argument anymore as we have proved time and time again we play some of the best football in this league.I know the title is a bit far fetched but lets be honest you have to be to get some debate going on here. however saying that i still think this decision could prove disasterous if we fail to find a suitable replacement- would you not have prefered to keep Nelson and look elsewhere for players to improve our squad, i know their are a few other positions i would have looked at before CB, now its the biggest priority
11. I know we have had couple quality loan signings this seaosn and Lambert does do well to make sure who he brings in is committed, however CB is a position i think where a pairing which is playing consistently together will be stronger than a pairing which is mixed and matched a lot, also the defenders who are not playing have trained regularly and know our tactics. bringing in a CB at this point in the season means he is also going to have to fit into our system well and that is much harder for a loan player than someone like Nelson who has been in our squard for a couple of years. For me Nelson would be 3rd choice i think behind Barnett and Whitbread, while he was happy to fulfill the job as 4th choice CB- any CB we bring in now from the primiership would be with a view to starting, as why else would they let him go. Any loan player from a lower team i very much doubt will be good enough to play for us. I think what is annoying me is just that it is going to be ahrd to bring someone better than Nelson in, while their is also the problem that any loan signing wont want to be sitting on the bench. If we can bring in a quality CB fair enough, i just don''t think it will happen and with this season being as tight as it is getting rid of our cover through loyalty to him was a bit foolish.I know you say it was good for all parties but what really did it bring us, the fee i am sure would have been rather small (as his contract was almost up) and it may just cost us as much to bring a loan player in now.I know hindsight plays a big part here but there were a lot of fans who said at the time that this could cause a lot of problems if we get an injury- i do not think anyone expected anything so soon or as drastic as this though
12. looking at the situation of Barnett and being out for the year, i honestly think Lambo decision to let Nelson go could be one of his most costly mistakes he will make as a mangageri saluted him at the time for showing great loyalty to a player but the injury problem was a real concern and in a season when we are fighting for the prmiership he made a really really bad call in letting Nelson go- there is no other way to look at it, disasterous decision, i would much prefer our own CB to that of a loan.this thread is probably gonna get moved to join one of the others talking about the same situation but i just got home and saw the news about Barnett and i am pissed off with Lambert in all honesty (and this doesn''t include the fact i think the admiral is better at defending than ward)- it''s him that put us in this difficult situation, and i am not comfortable with a loan CB filling the gap in all honesty, much prefer someone with desire to play for CityIn conclusion i basically think we have seen Lamberts inexperience at manger level show here
13. The thing with Cody i think that he hasn''t been playing pro football for that long so, despite his age, he is still improving drastically at the moment. We need to get him back at the club so the coaching staff can get a proper look at how he has come on and whether or not they deem he good enough to be in the squad here. I personally think to score as many goals as he has, whatever the league, is a sign of a good player with raw talent at least, if Lambert utilises that he could no doubt be a quality player for us
14. i went on the Leeds website the other day for this same reason, they still had tickets left then
15. I''m chris 21 year old law student in Leeds. Supported City my whole life, started off citing in the old family enclosure in the N&P before moving to the upper barclay, nice view but pretty quiet. Don''t get to go to as many football games now that i living in leeds, that''s why i joined this to keep me updated.First city legend- EadieCurrent fav players- R Martin and Holt
16.

And pigs might fly...........no chance of this happening.
Wiz, if we were going into administration even if Foulger was buying us out and wouldn''t let us down........   .....and Holt was playing in August even though he was on crutches until October........   ........who knows what may happen, it''s a funny old game! [;)]
To be fair Laps I was mightly close on two of them!  A few posters on here thought so too, but if this comes off I''ll sit naked on Lowestoft fish market whistling ''Dixie''...........thats how confident I am.[:P]
Or maybe your hoping it comes off to you can sit naked on Lowestoft fish market, who knows what you are into! No i seriously don''t see this coming off either, would be nice though and i am not so confident that i will be joining you in your naked sing song
17.

Am I correct in saying he was on our books as a kid and Arsenal took him?
Yes you are!
If this is true im surprised i have not seen it mentioned on this board before, may have just missed it though. Still Arsenal will not be letting him go yet i don''t think, hes played more games there than a few other guys his age in the set up at Arsenal and Wenger is focusing a lot on bringing English talent through at the moment
18. I would like to see it, would give us a lot more natural width and allow us to refer to 4 4 2 a bit more successfully. Can see Lambert still trying to pursue it and do not know how much attention he will give to the play offs when he will want to win the games now more than those we might not possibly be playing. However i dont see him coming here just because i think Poyet was pretty adament on keeping him for the end of the season to secure promotion, although maybe a large bid could sway them, i don''t want to see us spend much more than a 1.5M though for an unproven champ player.
19. i thought hucks did mention it, saying that it was more of a penalty claim than ours, or was that a different situation. I may be wrong though
20. another good report Hucks! Its great seeing a city legend getting involved with the fans.I really enjoy these reports and read them every week, much prefer it to the Pikuns match report. Are you going to be able to get some players writing them again, it is good getting someone who played in the games perspective, nice to get a little insight into Lambert''s plans as well.I hope these reports continue, thanks again
21. yeah i agree, i think you see it in the celebations, i have never seen a group of players and management react to a win like we do at the moment, with lambert applauding the fans as well, its great to see. One thing i noticed when watching the highlights of saturday was Lansbury sirt of hi fiving the norwich fans as he ran past them after scoring, great to see, espicially in a day an age when it seems the football authorities are trying to prevent any mingling of the fans and players
22. yeah, i think lots of people are starting to like the idea of that formation, i don''t think he will change a formation that has done so well for us for 2 seasons now, its also a german formation we play and Lambo likes that
23. this league is one where anyone can beat anyone still and for me it doesn''t matter who our fixtures are against, a slong as we maintain this form we will be up there. We tend to overperform against the big teams and play much more average against the weaker. I have more faith in getting a good performance against Swansea and Notts than Barnsley and Scunthorpe, but whether results show that is another question. For me if we beat these 2 then we have a very good chance at auto promotion. at the start of the season no-one was expecting us to be here now, but we are and we deserve it so any slip out of the playoffs now will be a huge disaster, for me i still want to see us compete closely for the top 2, i think QPR will have some slip ups, Forest are my main concerns
