  1. i will go up front if you fancy- I guarantee to score the usual nothing !! lol I would love to see GK: Green RB: Edworthy/Helveg - (45 mins each to make their stake) CB: Flem CB: Charlton LB: Drury DM: Safri (off for Holt if he is shaky) LW: Hucks (pushing forward) CM: Bentley (off for Mulryne if he is poop) CM: Francis RW: McVeigh F: Johnson (Mckenzie on if failing)   radical- but if we have no strikers lets play one with a packed midfield?
  2. more chance of the Anglican Church agreeing than that happening!!! No way at all!! But its good to dream.....
  3. I also fancy Jonsson! Give him a go- he''s a proven goalscorer who should settle sooner rather than later
  4. Hartson is on the wane -McVeigh on the rise. For a month the deal would be good- but after that terrible. We would watch Paul become a great and rue the day we sold him. Whilst Hartson would become older and more championship by the day. Give Paul time....he will be a good un
  5. just tactical. Helveg on bench has defence and midfield options. Doc def and forward. Svensson was up for a run out (we need to try and find a goalscorer) and McVeigh was ready should Jonson fail. Hence- no Safri. At least that''s my bet- nothing sinister at all
  6. Unless they were willing to overspend on the right player- there is an alternative for you
  7. get off it!! Honestly, the man secures promotion -unthinkable 18 months previously and suddenly you want to turn on him? We are a small club in a BIG league- we have shown resolve and heart. Unless you can offer the 6-8 million to improve us to the next stage - stop the negative stuff I say!!! We should be 100% behind NW and work together in this tough season ahead. Moaners- go elsewhere with your totally unrealistic expectiations.   RANT OVER!!
  8. My favourite EVER football memory (promotion aside) is: Norwich 2 Liverpool 1 Drinkell: scoring in 88th (ish) minute It had the dual effect of 1) wiping the scouser smiles away 2) robbing those annoying fans who leave grounds too early. BRILLIANT!!!!! Lets hope that by the weekend it will be my second favourite memory!!
  9. my money is that Svennson will start- Worthy doesn''t play Leon and Hucks together- Leons only hope would be Hucks injury.... ..All the best to Svenny- but deep down I know already what will happen
  10. Our very own Raven chatting up the boys in the gents- NOW THAT IS A GOOD RUMOUR!!!!!LOL
  11. This may be good news in a funny way!! Realistically Green will not be here for all that long- we are not playing champions league. So when he goes it will boost his value if two big money sides are in for th hunt. Thus  providing more money for when that dreaded  day arrives.   I will be gutted to see him go- but if he has to - lets demand LOTS and invest it on players.
  12. who would you choose if you could have any one player from the championship??
  13. The BBC forum mentions imminent signings of out of contract players. Any truth? OR just wishful thinking?

  15. just noticed my post seems a bit on the negative side- those comments were mere reflections amongst the joy of a magnificent point earned. I love NCFC!!!
  16. brilliant- cannot fault the seconf half effort at all. Norwich are pleasantly surprising me - each match we grow a little bit better....not that there aren''t a couple of worries. a) first half defending- more of this and we WILL be punished: b) lack of sharp striker - put one next to Hucks and we WILL make top half I reckon that if we sort a out now and b in  January = hello PREM 2005/6!!! (But the striker bid will need to be pretty ambitious)

  18. unless the price was being overinflated prior to Jan - so a deal is being done now when prices are more sensible again??   I am only making up gossip- but it keeps us going till tomorrow!!
  19. Just guessing here but perhaps the added bonus of West Ham over Cov is the prospect of Mr Harewood in Jan???? Part payment? Cheaper deal etc.... I may be making 2+2+5 but you never know.....
  20. with a big nose? Djorkaeff? could be something in it
  21. I agree that ''bust up'' talk is fanciful. The truth is more likely to be that Malky wants regular first team football. He is no young pup and knows he is not to going to get it here. So my guess is that NW and the club are being honorable by supproting a faithful pro in a move away. As opposed to selfishly holding him back. To actually let him go may be the way we say thank you to the player we love!!
  22. yes indeed! But Spurs away this season is no easy match. They are flying at the moment- the fixture list continues to be cruel to us!! But if the boys go there, enjoy their football and bust a gut- they could catch spurs napping!!! A draw would be an awesom result really - away from home and all those three points may elude us a while yet
