  1. So just to clarify City1st? A business looking to make long term sustainable profit is lending money to people with a high certainty of not being able to pay it back in the agreed time. Where''s the end game? To whack on late payment fees and higher interest? If the company is targeting people who can''t repay small loans, when do they expect them to repay the extra charges? The representative APR may put many people off but it''s not really accurate to use when weighing up a 30 day loan.
  2. You need the money, you agree to the re-payment date and the interest charges. How is that unethical? Nobody forced you to borrow money. It''s not like Wonga come round your house and break your thumbs.
  3. Hoolahan falls over, We get 4 players back, but no-ones man marking, Holt ends up the furthest player back when the ball goes in. Woeful.
  4. The interesting thing to note is that in both the cases of Keegan and Curbishley, the clubs filed counterclaims almost as a matter of process rather than actual necessity. In Lambert''s case if we are suing him for breach of contract his counterclaim may be in the same vain, rather than a firm belief of constructive dismissal.
  5. Teams that don''t get the luck, get relegated. You hear all the time from managers of teams at the bottom of the league bemoaning the lack of luck and little things going their way.
  6. Starting with 3 points Chelsea (a) Loss Arsenal (h) Loss Aston Villa (a) Draw +1 = 4 Stoke (h) Win + 3 = 7 Reading (a) Win + 3 = 10 Man Utd (h) Loss Everton (a) Loss Southampton (a) Draw + 1 = 11 Sunderland (h) Win + 3 = 14 Swansea (a) Loss Wigan (h) Win + 3 = 17 West Brom (a) Draw + 1 = 18 Meaning P18 W4 D6 L8 Pts18 We''ve been poor, but we''re not Derby County 2005/06 poor.
  7. Has us down as P7 home W0 D2 L2 F5 A11 away W0 D1 L2 F1 A7. Where''s that other home loss appeared from?
  8. Lambert instilled the team with a never say die attitude which saw fight to the last second an caused us to snatch victory at games like Southend, Reading, Millwall and Derby. Today the lads looked empty, dejected. Even at 5-1 you still have your pride to play for. It was a complete capitulation. The loss of this mentality worries me more than Hughton''s apparent ineptitude.
  9. Looks very open in the middle. Could be more goals.
  10. Glenn Roeder could manage for them. Neil Doncaster could be CEO and Marcus Evans could bankroll them. It''s a moaner''s dream.
  11. Very similar to the changes we made for our first win away at Bolton last season. Same result aswell i hope.
  12. You missed out the part where Earls Colne missed out on promotion that season by goal difference.
  13. "The up-and-coming Manchester City keeper is already 6ft 5ins and more than 12 stone..." "The teenager is still two inches shorter that his dad though..."
  14. Probably the right decision. Didn''t look malicious, wasn''t two footed. Red card was harsh.
  15. Correct Matt Juler. The Squad Registration is now closed and only unattached players can be added.
  16. I honestly do not want to be alive if the day ever comes when we would consider DJ Campbell a worthwhile signing.
  17. That''s right. Spend a 7 figure some to bring him here. Contract him for 3 years and sack him after one game. Brilliant Idea....
  18. "Thursday. 5pm Norwich City''s Chapelfield store." Surely you mean Wednesday Evening on Chris Brown''s twitter page?

It''s a crying shame that with such brilliant eyesight you managed to miss the point of the thread. Or were you just being a jackass?
