  1. it wont be harper, portsmouth have 14 players out through injury and he played against liverpool at the weekend
  2. just otbc in their style,im sure it would sound good, its at least worth a go
  3. with them rumoured to be writing a song for us,would we prefer a new one or a revamp of an old song?? personally a new version of on the ball city, as mentioned in the article on the website
  4. do you have any idea what form the new away shirt willl take??? achange of style or of colour???
  5. i really feel that he''ll be able to manage in the prem.i was watching a vido from about 94 or something the other day,and it showed a young fleming playing for oldham in the prem and they were singing his praises then - i''m sure he''ll do really well next season
  6. i was not at the game so do not know exactly what happened, but i am not too bothered by people who come being friends of noriwch supporters, ie they sit with them.what gets me is if they are simply given away,or if their norwich friends are not there
  7. they played extra time last night - that can only help us.i also feel that we must start well, for their fans often jump on their back far too easily, even so,a draw at best
  8. james,i doubt we''ll sign ten players, simply because we dont want to do an ipswich/bradford etc etc.the risk factor is too high, in that if we do go down we are stuck with 10people on premiership wages and go into administration.i really think that nigel is too clever to do that, and a more realistic number would be about 6 or 7, with special contracts that mean reduced wages if we go down
  9. now i know that huckerby''s wages are huge, but here are some of the players who we thought of signing in august lee(now at cardiff) connelly taylor none of these have set the world alight, imagine if we had signed one of them - i''d see us at around 8th or 9th
  10. butch i think you mean chilavert,he was from paraguay
  11. to all those who have complained, if offered a ticket in a home area at Old Trafford next season, would you take it???? wimbledon is entirely different, but this scenario isn''t
  12. All those who feel annoyed,i sympathise with you.but one question, if next season away games are sold out and the only way you could watch a game was to pay a few quid exta and sit in the home areas, would you???and be honest - i certainly would,as much as it may be annoying that other fans sit on carrow road home sections
  13. as much as i like to see them do well,i cant help not feeling sorry for their 4-0 loss yesterday,it serves them right for not picking malky and holt.im sure it''ll teach them to put paul ritchie in defence, they were asking for it really
  14. got my tickets 2 days ago, with any luck it will be similar to the southampton game last year - beach balls are a must!!
  15. Does anyone know where you can see lots of photos from the previous match(on the internet) the link given on the official website isnt really very good thank you
  16. i thought that crewe one was at home.i remmber fat man rivers scoring
  17. hes hardly done amazingly at sheff utd, they''d be unlikely to let him go to a rival promtion chasing club, and we signed three new strikers only 2 months ago need i say more??
  18. Fortunalty i feel that our home form, if we go up, is likely to be average rather than awful, and so when we do go away and get thumped 5-0 only the main, loyal fans will be there to watch, reducing the chance of new fans booing our players off the pitch, or worse still, throughout the match
  19. the fact is that the fleming - mackay partnership is hardly failing us at the moment, so why change it??? If things go really wrong then do. I''m sure if we go up with a few games to spare Shackell will play a few games then. Just imagine if he was at fault for the losing goal against West Ham or Ipswich - it just usn''t worth it, is it??? I say blend him in - as a sub or at the end of the season
  20. i wouldnt''t say he had been ''shipped'' out old boy, he simply wanted to finish his career in Denmark. I''m sure Worthy would have kept him if he could
  21. that is odd, was thinking exactly the same thing last night - don''t know whether to feel sorry for him or not.
  22. on 65,000+ a week???? get real wouldnt want him anyway, the one this club doesnt need is people who think that they are all that(well maybe he is but it wouldnt rub iff well on other players)
  23. Is it just me that gets irritated when Sven and friends say that a goalkeeper needs to get tested at the highest level, ie the premier league, to be even considered for the England squad. I would have thought that it was the one position where it is not necessary to play in the top flight - you are always going to get top-quality shots and as a result Greeno makes top-qualtiy saves. How Walker is in the squad after his blunder last night i don''t know, it really gets me when Green is so good and yet still overlooked
