This had potential to be an interesting thread . Instead it''s just another forum for addictive egos to further their post counts with little to add to the debate. Ldc and Morty. Just private message your nonsense. Keelan is right when he states that you attempt to dictate the terms of every debate on here. As we don''t have a block option please be a bit more considerate towards those who want to express a view without a predictable response from you. I know you believe yourselves to be the concience of the board but actually you are dull. I don''t want a pint with you and yes I am from Norfolk and no I don''t live in Norwich anymore and yes I go to games. Please just consider others.

Match report whilst fresh in mind!
The Bristol Nest replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I am not sure it is arrogance, more that it was too little too late at the time. The run in was horrible and we knew that the those games were coming. If the board want to stick with AN whatever and stick to a strategy so be it. If not I hope that they act before Xmas. -

We are eleven points off automatic Lakey and dropping down the league. Football IS a results based sport and we need results. If we win on Saturday and win well confidence may return. If we employ the same tactics and lose , I can''t see how he can remain in post. -
not in my wildest dreams

I take your point but it is early enough to turn this around with a new manager/approach although as it stands, with AN still in place we are too predictable. We have some promising young talent in Pritchard, Canos. Murphys, Maddison, Thompson and Toffolo but it doesn''t seem to matter who we play at the moment. The under 23''s seem to be buzzing. Are they playing a different system? -

Thanks for the match reports. Regarding the point scoring guff , only a strong performance and a win is relevant at this stage. The players appear to be "playing for the manager". They are still not playing well enough to get any points. -
The decision should be made for football reasons and not in response to booing , chanting and general rancour.

Parma said "However starting slowly and accelerating to this position would have inevitably been treated differently to the current poor run which sees a somewhat autistic repetitiveness to events, approaches and remedies. " This is the deciding factor for me. Alex appears to be stubborn in his approach rather than learning on the job.

Time to ask the question, if not Alex then who?

Aveit, you are forgetting that we are too big a club to bother with ex-England managers. -
Surely AN cant survive this for much longer. We just cant cope with simple through balls and hoofs over the top .
the red card doesn''t explain our inability to defend as a team. How very depressing. -

All the strands of criticism and concerns over the past three months ( at least ) came together yesterday and have opened the fans eyes to a failing regime. Until now I have been a believer in a long term plan under AN. The club must come first. -
Wot no match fread? OK then

This has been coming. Ricardo has been stating what is now the obvious for some weeks. Brighton don''t seem to be that good but they are clinically punishing our unacceptable mistakes. This is not ok. -

Dreadful team defence with sloppy mistakes . There is something very wrong here. -

I don''t usually bite but this thread was a good one until the predictable guff from that twunt. Poor trolling indeed. -

Good constructive criticism on this thread. I sat through a similar game at Ashton Gate which always looked like a one nil at best. The championship seems to encourage very defensive approaches from the away side hoping for a set piece goal. Very boring to watch especially when you don''t support either side! I agree with all the analysis on this thus far. Good idea but wrong game? I prefer good possession football with a creative attacking approach which should suit our squad on paper. -
