Says on Facebook he hit some guy with a mug, and he deserved it.
Think you should re-read it Morty! and the bloke he hit was a mug who probably asked for it... Everyone makes mistakes [;)]
[:$]
Thought it was bizarre when I first read it, thought why would he have a mug!? aha -

Swansea fan, says it all!

sometimes this board fails to amaze me, I said this on Canary Call and i''ll say it again. Problem was Pratley was so deep that Crofts couldnt pick him up which left Wes to be in the same space as him and Pratley was much stronger. My mate who''s a Swansea fan actually said to me that Hoolahan played well, when I told him it was an off day for Hoolahan he was amazed and said he''d hate to play Hoolahan on a good day! Honestly I believe he''s a player which any club in this league would snap there hand off to have.
I have already decided, there is a good possibility, that Crofts will be my player of the season. Every single game I have seen him in (both league, cup game and two friendlies) he has massively impressed me.
Have to agree with you Morty, he may not be the best on the ball but he works his arse off and is very effective. It''s great to see a player putting everything in for the cause!
-
Good report Hucks, have to agree with you on Crofts for man of the match I thought he was outstanding. Do you think Crofts in that role is going to be more of a permanent fixture than Fox? I think that playing at the base of the diamond you need a destroyer, someone who''s going to put their foot in and break up play. Fox would be more suited further up the field for me.

Grave news that an Exeter City player has died tonight. I believe he was fighting a battle with cancer. http://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10436~2117958,00.html Thoughts go out to his friends and family.

Rudd over Ruddy
Captain Fantastic replied to Captain Fantastic's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Rudd is an excellent young keeper, but I''m not about to make a knee jerk reaction, based on one game.
I aint basing it on one game Morty, I believed that we didn''t really need to replace Fraser just get cover for Dec. -
If you had the choice? I''d have Rudd in goal. In my opinion if your good enough, your young enough. Thoughts?
-
For me you need two creators and two destroyers. Last season we had that but especially going up the league you need the protective unit. I believe last night we had too much creativity in the midfield which left us exposed easily at times. So i would bring K.Smith into the holding roll as I think its tailor made for him. and then Crofts right, Surman left, and Hoolahan at the base pulling the strings.

Is there going to be one tonight? Ultimate tribute to someone involved in football to be recognised by everyone. I hope there is one as he was a great man.

macnamee is $h!t [y] Gill is a more important player when we are playing the diamond and should take his place.
I think McNamee is pretty good actually and has received quite a bit of criticism when the whole team didn''t play their best football towards the end of the season. At the Orient away game I thought he was the only player who offered us an attacking outlet but nobody got the ball to him or got in a good position when he did. His crossing ability will definitely come in useful as the season progresses.
no he didn''t, well i dont think so anyway! Every cross he made went straight to the keeper. Thats why we lost 2-1!
So your saying that cause Macca misplaced a couple of crosses thats why we lost?! What a load of tosh you really do talk some sh1t!

last season when we hit top gear
Captain Fantastic replied to woody11's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
2nd half Home to Brentford, down to 10 men 2nd half of both Huddersfield games. -
I think we may have signed two players one from SE London and one from Canada - great bit of work. We now have the Jackson Twins
All we need is 3 more [;)]

Wesley......without a doubt!
Really? [:|] No doubt he had a splendid season last year, but I seem to remember he really wasn''t that good in the Champ. [:-*]
The whole team wasn''t that good then but with better players around him, he will shine. [*]
He had a blinding season for Blackpool in the Championship (in his favoured position) and was brilliant. When he played in the Championship for us he never played in his favoured position, always played on the wing which doesn''t get the best out of him. If he is kept in his position in the hole which I can see no different, he will thrive in the Championship in my opinion.
