So, what are the problems?
Delia Out! replied to Adam NCFC's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Who''s moaning? There''s a big difference between moaning and being objective about our shortcomings. I''m very happy to be 6th, but certainly don''t believe that we''re currently good enough to stay there without a couple more players.
Well said, barely anyone on this message board is moaning! -

Well not that many of us are moaning to be honest... -
Lappin or Mcnamee Tomorrow?
Delia Out! replied to CDMullins's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
1 - Lappin starts. 2 - McNamee regularly comes off the bench. 3 - McNamee every so often puts in a match winning performance from the bench. 4 - Everyone calls for McNamee to start. 5 - McNamee starts but does very little. 6 - Repeat from step 1.
Well Said [Y] But still think that McNamee should go on a bit earlier sometimes. -
Mugs on Radio Norfolk
Whoever the hell Keith is? I think it was Keith. Saying that Grant Holt should be dropped? He''s out Captain and puts 100% in even when he isn''t having a good game and today I thought he did reasonably well. We deserved to win the game, just didn''t take our chances. We''re 6th in the League, we certainly don''t need to change anything. Please think before speaking on Canary Call, the vast majority are complete tools.
I heard that call and couldn''t believe it! He carries the line very well and without him we wouldn''t be in the Championship, some people! -
Norwich V Hull - Score Prediction
Delia Out! replied to DOGGER's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Norwich 6 - 0 Hull And no, I am not kidding. I have on very good authority that Hull are soon to sack Nigel Pearson and there is some major lapses backstage there. Bullard is refusing to play and will not play on Sat. Please, quote me if I am wrong but we are going to hammer Hull by many many goals!
[8-)][:|] -

Re: How important is the age of a player?
Delia Out! replied to Mainline's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

I was just wondering why the hell players over the age of 33 get paid more than than players who are 25/26? Seems ridiculous seeming as though most of them don''t/barely ever play!
Hey D.O., I was thinking about that too. My best guess is it''s because there are far fewer per year group in that age range and the ones who stay on in football are the really important ones in terms of what they mean to the Premiership manager who''s either bringing them in from a higher status team, or keeping them. That would mean they are likely to have been among the top earners in their heyday, and they retain a high % of that even when they move clubs or renegotiate contracts. This includes those stalwart defenders (Mabbutt, Adams) & midfielders (Giggs or Speed), and as people have implied, the odd Dion-type striker, who have the talent and record to be able inspire and organise the younger team members while still playing well. Man, you can tell my era of influence from those names, can''t you.
Also, they might pay alot because they can tutor the younger players who are inexperienced. -

Delia Out! replied to CDMullins's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

Delia Out! replied to CDMullins's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I would start with Lappin but bring McNamee on when needed to give us a bit of flair :) -
