1. And I wore the home one at Wigan!
 2. I got my Asiscs for £72 last week, Same seller had the away one too, that went for £78
 3.

dani37pacheco Daniel Pacheco Im at home (málaga) waiting news on my future, and everything should be done THIS week, and will know it very soon. So unlucky at world cup! Looks like he''s moving away from Liverpool, if it was us then he certainly wouldn''t be in Malaga would he?
He will be in Malaga because he has played in the U20 world cup, would of thought he''d get a week after that. When people play in the grown ups World Cup they normally return to training 10-14 days later than those who didn''t go. Although one would assume that he wouldn''t rule out a move to Malaga FC! I suspect his whole family are Malaga fans, and they are no lightweights either, they have signed Ruud Van Nistlerooy this summer, having signed Julio Baptista, Enzo Maresca, and Willy Cabellero last January! They have got Toulalan and Joaquin too, so one would assume that they have a fair bit of money to throw about these days!
Wow, thats some midfield! I guess Valencia have made a real loss on Joaquin!
 4. 4-5-1 for me.   Ruddy   No reason to change Martin with Barnett De Leat and Tierney   Pack the midfield with Crofts, Fox and Johnson   Bennett and Pilkington on the wings   And although dropping Holt would be so hard, Morison had a blinder Saturday.
 5.

I''d definitely bring Naughton in for Martin. Tierney played fairly well on the left both attacking and defending, so he deserved another shot, as does De Laet because although the attention will be on his error I thought he more than made up for with two outstanding blocks. Whitbread I don''t think will be risked if he has a knock. I do also think we need pace and as hard as it would be to drop Morison I think Jackson''s pace could cause a few problems to what is a very strong but slow stoke team.
Is Holt that untouchable? Don''t get me wrong, I''ve got Holt down as top scorer for us again, but Morison is said to have had a stellar debut? I think I''d keep the front two the same, with a view to a couple of early 55th/60th minute substitutes. Perhaps bring on a couple of faster players just as Stoke begin to potentially tire a little.
Based on performance, It should have been Holt that was brought off on Saturday, not Morison
 6. I actually hope this gets knocked on the head quickly.   I was in Turkey in October and there was a bar with every 3pm kick off on live, and Sky Sports Saturday on in the middle screen. It was awesome.   However, coming on the Pink''Un and bragging about been a City fan but watching all the games in the Pub is abit hypocritical.   Yes, football is an expense, but if everyone watched every game in the pub, there would be no football at all!
 7. Wigan got on top for the last 15 minutes when we brought Morison off, we stopped defending from front. Which gave their players much more time to pick their passes. Morison and Holt caused their defense to make lots of mistakes and loose passes.   In hindsigh I know but if Lambert wanted to bring 2 wingers on, we should have sacrficed Wes and kept 2 up top.
 8. When Morison came off we stopped defending from the front, which gave them a hell of a lot of uncontested ball towards the end. Holt and Morison had forced mistakes from the Wigan defense all game.   Moses was very direct and fast and gave RM all sorts of problems.   Ruddy did pretty much everything asked of him.   I never though we would lose the game, even at 1-0 down we seemed composed and in control.   Wigan are terrible. Only time will tell whether it was 1 point gained or 2 dropped.   Morison had a blinder, as much as I love Holt, Morison should not have been the one brought off.   Nice to see Leon back, really hope he will be considered first choice.
 9.

Im fairly sure PL as nothing to do with which player has which squad number!   Think some of you hvae been playing too much Football Manager
Of course the manager can change the squad numbers, why do you think Steven Smith and Cody McDonald no longer have one? Bryan Gunn changed a lot of shirt numbers.
Garbage!   Why would PL give a toss who wears what number??   Someone upstairs might as a marketing ploy, but PL no way!   Steve Smith and Cody dont have one because they have been told they are not required, not because PL sat down with a piece of player a went through the numbers!
 10. Grant Holt to score 10 or more 7/2   Grant Holt to score 15 or more 10/1

 12. Regardless of whether you like David Bentley or what formation you''d play, you cant believe Fox, Crofts and Hoolahan are better than him!   The guys played at Premiership level since that season, and as racked up £10 Million+ in transfer fees. He as even played for England.
 13.
Was lucky enough to get a comp ticket tonight on the basis of doing some scouting and sat with scouts from Wigan, Orient and Hereford watching the game in one of the boxes The game itself was disappointing and whilst I fully accept results don''t matter in preseason performances certainly do. The positives, Rudd looked solid and dealt with everything comfortably, even had the Harris effort that hit the bar covered. Was obviously under instructions to play out from the back and did so altho we did conceed a couple of soft freekicks. Naughton looked composed, quick as and did nothing wrong. Going forward he''ll be a real asset. Johnson looked off the base, heavy and gave the ball away far too easily at times. Difference in speed of passing and one touch stuff was highlighted when he was replaced by Crofts Bennett, I have concerns that we don''t know how to play with wingers. Everything wanted to cone back inside and at no point did we look to create space for Bennett to run into. That sai he''s quick and had a couple of good crosses but was let down by... ...Morison. Looks out of his depth, really struggled to have any meaningful impact on the game. Seemed lost playing on his own and too often got dragged out of position trying to make things happen! For a big strong centre forward I noted he won just one header! Highlights for me was Sahfends comedy striker Mohsni trying to start a fight with anyone who got near him including Rudd, Whitbread, R.Martin, Franconb etc; oh and Bennett deciding he''d had enough and taking his place on the bench, even thi he hadn''t been subbed!
What seemed like a very good analysis was completly ruined by,   "Morison, Looks out of his depth" In a pre-season friendly? Against a club that plays 2 leagues below the League he was scoring goals in last season? That just doesnt make sense.
 14. Tried 4/5 times, took 9 minutes from been 17th in the Que to getting them.
 15.

"It’s another option for the future and I’ll have to assess it"   Sounds like there is a offer on the table, if so we must have agreed a fee with Liverpool.
I don''t see how you reach that conclusion from his quote. Surely he just means that if he does leave Liverpool some time in the future then we are one club he might be prepared to join.
Because we have to want him, he cant just join any team he wants. So if it is only an ''option'' if we have made a bid.   Its strange that he as directly quoted our name.

 17.

So you''re telling me a lack of height doesn''t come with any drawbacks to a players game? As a full back its a fairly big issue, I know for a start Grant Holt would have a field day against the majority of full backs if they were all 5ft 6". Lionel Messi is an astonishingly talented player that more than makes up for his lack of height but not all players have the talent to do so.
The only positions that require height are goalkeepers and centre halfs.   Some of the best full-backs of all time have been ''small''   I played with one young black lad that must have been 5''5
Why was it significant that he was black?
Get a grip
 18. Interesting, Id like Russ to be given a chance but Naughton will give him very good competition, if its true that is.
 19. How exactly is it Retro? Surly Retro means having something that looks similar to something from a different era.     Our Asics and ''92 shirts are ''busy'' and not ''clean and simple'' but they are probably our most popular and memerable shirts. Anything that looked similar to them would be retro.     I agree with the few that have said no effort as gone into it and there is no design about it. I spent the most part of my school lessosns drawing football kits in the back of my books and put much more effort in than it would appear Erra have.   On a slightly different note, as anyone seen the price of the training wear? £32 for the warm up T-shirt, £40 for the jumper and £50 for the drill top!!!
 20.

Exactly my point, height hasnt stopped him. Imagine if Messi would have grown up in England, he would probabl;y have been told he was small and wouldnt have made it.     The only thing that will stop this kid making it is if hes not good enough, not his height.
I am fairly certain that any footballer, no matter how skillful, would not make it as a centre back if he was 5''2" (that''s about 1.5 metres in new money).
He''s not 5''2 though is he? Or a centre back?   So the only thing that will stop him from making it, is whether he is good enough or not!

Althought I played with one young black lad that must have been 5''5 and he could leap as high as anyone I have ever seen and getting as high as centre halfs 2 foot taller than him.

 23. Ah, the old hes too small argument.     Someone get Lionel Messi on the phone, tell him hes not going to make it.       If your good enough, your tall enough.
