  1. Wore my new away shirt today while playing cricket for my team, to say I got stick from the lads was an understatement - we have one Reading fan, a Charton fan and of course a scummer, who would have thought?!
  2. No way will they release him, he''s worth a couple of million. One of the teams going up to the Prem will snap him up if he''s available.
  3. It says on Wiki under Hugh Jackman > Sports - that he is rumoured to be buying a stake in the Club...
  4. Hate to say it but... I agree, I feel dirty now...
  5. Just a plan, a vision, and an aim. I don''t think we''ve had one since the 2005/06 season (aim to bounce back to the Prem).
  6. Over the whole season my top three would be: Third: Lee Croft Second: Gary Doherty First: Sammy Clingan
  7. Definitely the best chance, and he''s a player of whom I think would thrive under such huge limelight.
  8. Agreed with Rocky Rocastle and Mister Chops - summed up.
  9. CT, you''ve just tried to centre this post around you! That is ironic to say the least.
  10. Update - Richard Gough emailed me as Doncaster copied him in on it. He apologised for the mess, but more importantly confirmed the Club were waiting for after the Reading once Sky have announced which two games they are covering. An announcement should be made Tuesday afternoon/Wednesday.
  11. Yeah I suppose, they''ll definitely fill the Jarrold for it so hopefully it''ll get the all clear.
  12. I was one of the City fans who was unable to get tickets for the Charlton game due to the Club cocking up big time, so I emailed Mr Doncaster requesting a beam back for those who aren''t able to go to the game: Dear Mr Doncaster, As a disappointed supporter who was planning to purchase one of the "800 available tickets" for the crucial game next Sunday, I am very angry that the Club suddenly gave no warning and sold the tickets to fans who wrote applications after the deadline. What is the point of a deadline if people have requests accepted after the cut off point? Browsing through various City related message boards, there are hundreds of calls for the game to be beamed back to Carrow Road so those disappointed fans (and others who weren''t able to go to The Valley in the first place) can see the game. I think this is a must for the club, so they can try to reimburse those fans, giving them the ability to watch the game in Norwich and obviously brings in a nice revenue for the Club. Please Mr Doncaster, don''t let the fans down. If we are the best fans in the world, give us a chance to watch the biggest game in the Club''s history. Many thanks for your time, Matthew Rushbrooke I got a reply today (I will not post it on here as I''m led to believe that''s not allowed and would get taken off) but he said the Club were in the process of considering this and hopes to arrange an alternative for the fans so they can watch it one way or another at Carrow Road. Just thought I''d pass that on to you, hopefully the Club can do something to compensate us.
  13. With my season ticket I pay £12.50 p/m, if I were to become a member I''d still aim to go to most games - so that''s £15 one off (as a super member) and roughly £15.00 per game, giving the board a hell of a lot more money than if I bought a season ticket!
  14. The fact that CT and Wiz have said that they will "rejoice" when we go down says a hell of a lot.
  15. I purchased a season ticket Wiz, and I can''t stand the board, but I''ve grown up loving Norwich City - my Saturday wouldn''t be the same without going to Carrow Road cheering my team on, and if you think pathetic posts like that is going to put pressure on me to give that up because you''ve run out of things to be self centered about then you really are a sad git!
  16. I thought this seasons red goalie top would make a really nice away shirt actually, without the goalie padding of course.
  17. I think we can and will beat Reading, I''m a realist and I know Reading won last night so will be taking momentum from that but Norwich City at Carrow Road against "the big teams" always put on a performance, especially under the floodlights. What I do worry about it getting ourselves into an even more promising position for the Charlton game. It seems once a team is mathematically relegated they have no pressure or fear, and they gave a good show last night only to be cruelly denied a good win against a good team. I think we will get three points from the next two games, and that won''t be enough, I fear.
  18. That would probably be why the title reads "Reading game on Sky"...
  19. Thanks Matt, hugely appreciated. So can you confirm the game is live on Sky Sports or does the Offside Bar have other resources?
  20. I''m based in Bishops Stortford but am well up for travelling into the city be it to watch the game in the home end or at a bar with fellow City fans - anyone with any info please post as I''m sure I''m not the only City fan wanting as much info on this as possible.
