1. If City were to go down along with Southampton and Charlton, then along with possibly Leeds that would be four so-called "big" clubs in the third tier of English football next season - would that be a record I wonder?!
 2.
With all the doom and gloom on here at the moment, it is almost as if people have forgotten that the best part of a third of the season is still to go.  Yes our position is poor, but it is still far too early to predict anything at all.   Any of the sides in the bottom 8-10 (yes, including us) could go on a decent run in the next 4-5 games which would leave everyone talking on about how they are safe - which they certainly won''t be; similarly the sides in 14th-18th could go on a poor run which will have people saying they are doomed - which they won''t be.  We could certainly do with some points under our belt in the two home games coming up so as to get back into the pack as soon as possible, if only to temporarily relieve some of the tension/pressure.  But whatever, I am certain that it will go to the last few games - even the last one - before we are either officially doomed or safe.
This is one of the most sensible posts I''ve read on this board for some time. Doom-mongers take note.
 3. I remember Norwich winning 3-0 at Yeovil in the FA Cup third round in 1980 when you were a non-league club and we were in the old first division. Never thought we would end up on the brink of being in the same division!
 4. I have been a season ticket holder since 1980 (initially on the terraces) because I like the convenience. But it is a problem if I want to bring my daughter to a match as it would be impossible to get her a casual ticket next to me, so she has to use my mother''s season ticket instead. This is one of the main drawbacks of the increase in season ticket sales making casual tickets hard to come by.
 5. Don''t forget Blackpool - lost 4-1 tonight and they only have 38 points and could quite easily be sucked in too, especially if City were to win at Bloomfield Road next month.
 6.
I think Watford and Barnsley will be safe which means 3 from 5 clubs?? 18 Barnsley 31 10 5 16 30 41 35 -11 19 Plymouth Argyle 33 9 8 16 29 42 35 -13 20 Nottingham Forest 33 8 10 15 35 47 34 -12 21 Watford 31 9 6 16 44 53 33 -9 22 NORWICH CITY 33 8 8 17 43 52 32 -9 23 Southampton 32 6 10 16 29 50 28 -21 24 Charlton Athletic 32 6 7 19 34 55 25 -21
Watford and Barnsley are far from safe - they could both quite easily lose their next two games. Games in hand does not equate to points on the board.

Blimey haven''t you been granted parole yet? [:O]
 8. It''s worthe remembering that we were in a far worse position at the bottom of the table in the Premiership in 2005 but rallied to such an extent that we were out of the bottom three by the start of the last day. We all know what happened then of course, but it just goes to show that it''s silly to write anyone off in February.

 10. I found myself cheering when they went ahead and felt absurdly guilty about it!!!!

 12. Odds on to be relegated?! How on earth do you work that out?  There is a hell of a lot of football to be played yet - and you can bet your bottom dollar that Plymouth and Nottingham Forest are as worried as we are!
 13.
Thought for a moment you were talking about Tony Powell and his alter Ego!!!
I did too!!!!! [:D]
 14. D''urso demoted? TOO BLOODY LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [:@][:@][:@]The damage is done.
 15. I think we''ll stay up, although it might be a bit dodgy for a while.
 16. Oh my God - the pessimism on this board gets worse and worse. Not only have some people already made up their minds that City are down this season even though there are still 13 games to play, but apparently we''re on our way to League Two or the conference! Do me a favour lads - never apply to join the Samaritans. The suicide rate will shoot right up!!!!!
 17. If we are near the top of the table I think we will get around 20,000, but if we have a poor season I think there will be a big slump in 2010-11.
 18. Blimey - I''ve seen more cheerful pall bearers at a funeral. We''ve got two home games coming up - if we were to win them both and other teams dropped points then suddenly things won''t look so bleak. Come on - there''s plenty of hope yet!!!
 19.

DREAM TEAM MY ARSE!!!!!!!!!! (Aaaah that''s better)
Took the words right out of my mouth! ;)
Sorry Jim! If you want you can use my catchphrase. It is simple, just a lot of Tourette style abuse!!!!
That''s ok but you owe me a quid for breach of copyright! [:D]

 21.
just having a quick glance at the table, we are level on points with barnsley (4th bottom), and are 2 points ahead of watford (3rd bottom)however both teams have 3 games in hand on us, meaning that if barnsley take just 1 point and watford take just 3 points from 3 games we are in the bottom 3.im afraid i believe this may be it for us this season.
Yes but even if that happens we will still get opportunities to jump back over them - and as I mentioned earlier don''t forget Watford have still to come to us. There is still a long way to go yet.
 22. We''ve still got to play Plymouth and Watford at home - the fat lady''s not singing yet.
 23. Apologies - above post was in reply to an earlier message about Cody - was looking at the wrong page!!!
 24. He''s injured at the moment - took a knock in his last game for Dartford. Just our luck!
