stockport in administration
ndhscanary replied to Stephen Hawkings Football Boots's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Is anyone else finding this whole points deduction thing baffling. How come Southampton get their deduction next season and Stockport get it this season. A points deduction for stockport just like southampton means nothing for them so why are they not getting it next season. As usual just no consistency with this league and this points deduction rule is just a joke now. -
Gunn will be the man for next season......
ndhscanary replied to James Kent's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Bryan Gunn is not a manager and should just go back to being a scout or whatever he was before. Unfortunately I fear that the board will still have him as manager as he will be the usual cheap option. I see the board coming up with something along the lines of he had a good try of keeping us -

stockport in administration
ndhscanary replied to Stephen Hawkings Football Boots's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I know our financial situation is bad but at the moment I dont think it is as bad as alot of the clubs in league 1 and 2. I think if we end up being in league one for a few years then we may go into administration. But I think a hell of a lot of sides will end up going into administration next season especially in league 1 and 2. Might paly to our advantage -
FAO 3600 going to charlton
ndhscanary replied to Stephen Hawkings Football Boots's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I am happy to support the team at the team but if we begin putting in some woeful performance or results go against us I will vent my frustrations. I refuse to clap the players after the game if we have gone down although I am worrying that too many people will -
Right trust me on this one I am not making it up I was walking past the main entrance and saw Tony Adams outside signing autographs for people. Now I am just guessing but maybe he could be keeping an eye on both jobs here. Of course there are rumours of Coppell retiring so the Reading job would become available while of course the Norwich job may be available. Who knows but could he be our next manager?

the 15 or 20% refund on next season tickets
ndhscanary replied to Helsinki canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I have already heard a very strong rumour that they are planning to give supporters the option of waiving the 15% to help the club out. And there is no chance of me giving them anymore money they have taken enough of me already. And lets face it even if they do say they are going to put it in the transfer budget you just know they will build it on a new conservatory or restaurant something along those lines -
That was a league 1 performance tonight and we will be a much weaker team next season , but most people seemed well satisfied tonight , the clubs a lost cause now.
And lets face it that aint gonna happen. We could be bottom of league two and yet people would still be clapping the players and delia with the oh well we will bounce back next year attitude.
-
As I said in another thread to many fans are giving delia and the players there support when they clearly dont deserve this. Now we are likely to be relegated this season. Relegation = failure. Failure in any other line of work and you will probably be on the doll before too long. Yet oh no not with out club. Lets just clap all these players and the board even though it is their fault we are going down. While meanwhile most of these players will just join new clubs anyway And the same will happen at charlton next week. We will put in a good performance but still go down but still half of our lot will just clap them away anyway. Its pathetic and I wish some supporters realised just how bad things are and would try and help getting this club sorted out

Things to look forward to in league one...
ndhscanary replied to Huddy 's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Well I have got a few more- -Brentfords ground has got a pub in every corner of the ground -No visit to Selhurst Park next season -We wont have -10 points (Well ive talked that one up now) -
I know this has probably been mentioned already but I really cant understand how people can stay there for that lap of honour afterwards. I mean im sorry have I missed something here? Our team have basically been relegated yet people still stay there and applaud these players who have taken our side down. Very few of them deserve any sort of applause. I know some do care but why do so many people just seem to sit back and accept it it really does annoy me. And I bet the same will happen next week. We will play well as usual but not get the result get relegated and of course as usualy lets clap the players off anyway.

FA Cup Final Ticket Allocation - A disgrace
ndhscanary replied to Bovril's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
As much as it nice for all the sunday football teams to get tickets at the end of the day actual supporters of the teams are missing out on tickets to the game. I know now that because sky mentioned ticket touts the fa suddenly has jumped onto their bandwagon and are trying to clamp down on ticket touts. The fact is the reason so many of these tickets are available on the black market is again the FA''s fault. They give like 10,000 or even more maybe to sponsors and then ofcourse they dont know what to do with them so they just sell them on. If they gave the majority of the tickets to the fans in the first place then very few would get through to the black market -
Yeh I was planning on going by train but there is no way i am messing about changing from coaches to trains. I know for London trains if you buy them a month of two before you can get two singles for £12. Why two singles is cheaper than a return I will never really understand

Roy Keane - Managerial Record - Championship
ndhscanary replied to ACE's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Well I have been looking at the figures of how much he spent after this. 2007/08 Michael Chopra Cardiff £ 5000000 13-07-2007 Kieran Richardson Man Utd £ 5500000 16-07-2007 Dickson Etuhu Norwich £ 1500000 17-07-2007 Paul McShane West Brom £ 2500000 26-07-2007 Craig Gordon Hearts £ 9000000 08-08-2007 Andy Cole Portsmouth Free 24-08-2007 Kenwyne Jones Southampton £ 6000000 29-08-2007 Ian Harte Levante Free 29-08-2007 Danny Higginbotham Stoke £ 2500000 29-08-2007 Jean-Yves Mvoto Paris St-G. £ 300000 15-01-2008 Phil Bardsley Man Utd £ 2000000 22-01-2008 Rade Prica Aalborg £ 2000000 29-01-2008 Andy Reid Charlton £ 4000000 31-01-2008 Total: £ 40300000 2008/09 Teemu Tainio Tottenham Signed 01-07-2008 Nick Colgan Ipswich Free 24-07-2008 Pascal Chimbonda Tottenham Signed 26-07-2008 El Hadji Diouf Bolton £ 2500000 28-07-2008 Steed Malbranque Tottenham Signed 30-07-2008 David Healy Fulham Signed 21-08-2008 Anton Ferdinand West Ham £ 8000000 27-08-2008 George McCartney West Ham £ 4500000 02-09-2008 Total: £ 15000000 Now looking at those figures he has spent at least £55M but thats probably more as some of those are undisclosed. So thats £55M spent and there still in a relegation battle. Also some of those players have just been a total waste of money. I mean there is now way Anton Ferdinand is worth £8 Million. Chopra, Mcshane and Higginbotham all out on loan yet they all cost a hell of a lot of money. While Prica played like two games for them in a year and he cost £2 Million -
I always thought whatever decision the league made they would be in a sticky situation and would probably end up in court. Of course they have deducted Southampton the points (and rightly so in my opinion) and as I expected they are appealing it and as people have mentioned will probably end up being a court case. But ofcourse if they diddnt deduct Southampton the points then Luton and Leeds would be straight on their cases and they will then also want some compensation and it will be west ham sheffield united all over again

Have just seen that Doncaster has issused a half apology. He says he regrets it i guess. As above poster, i really cant see anything else being done. I guess i''m just guna forget about it all and enjoy the day out at the Valley.
Except that what he is saying isn''t actually true. When I phoned up the box office on Monday morning about Reading tickets, I also enquired about Charlton ones and was told that when they opened their post on the Tuesday morning (i.e. the day after the deadline had passed) there were loads of applications which they decided to process because they had already said that everyone who had applied in writing got one. How bizarre that the number of available tickets should exactly match the number applied for in writing so that no-one who applied in writing is disappointed and there are none available for general sale. It''s a trivial matter, perhaps and yes, those of us who missed out should have applied in writing (but some of us didn''t even know about the deadline) but the biggest issue here is that either the ticket office or Mr Doncaster is, at best, mis-informed or at worst, lying. Seems like a fairly common situation at NCFC these days.
Well this is another mistake from the club. The reason they got so many applications on the tuesday is because Monday was a bank holiday. surely they should have had the final application date on the tuesday because of this

Piswich's ambition.....
ndhscanary replied to can u sit down please's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I have said it in another post I really dont think Keane has done brilliantly as a manager considering he has spend £70 Million and sunderland are still fighting relegation. But the fact is I would still probably have Keane ahead of any of the managers that Delia has chosen which shows you how badly she has chosen. I diddnt sit with the Norwich fans at portaloo road on saturday but I also fail to understand why they were cheering her for. I know alot of people dont like her but still it just seems that to many are prepared to just let her sit back and appoint a load more useless managers and waste more money on building conservatories and restaurants. I also have to say that Ipswich seem to have appointed a very knowledgable chap as their new ce. And maybe both us and also the FA should take a leaf out of their book and also appoint someone in this role that actually knows something about sports and football. Not old lawyers or ITV bosses or ex government ministers. Just to add to that I would like to comment about Magiltons sacking. Ok like many City fans I dont really like the man but to sack him over the phone while he is looking after his ill mother is not really the right way to do things and shows what a dirty club they are
