We aren''t Southerners. We''re from EAST Anglia. But thanks for the info... -
Single stiker, who will it be
iluveadie replied to Yellowfuture's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It will be Joseph Desire Job, ex Middlesborough.
What makes you think this? -

Just been on. A small clip to accompany news that we had signed the two players on loan. GR was going on about how it took 6 weeks to sign the Hooligan etc, but the interesting bit (possibly) was where he said there would be 3 more before he was finished. Is that 3 more after these two, or was the interview held before the two were confirmed? If there are 3 more to come, what positions, apart from the obvious one, ie another striker?
If you subscribe to Canariesworld the whole interview (which is very interesting) is on the website.
I don''t subscribe - what interesting bits are in there?

Best/favourite autograph you own?
iluveadie replied to J Dilla (Rest In Beats)'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Got a shirt signed by the squad in the premiership season, went to Colney. Thought Worthy was a really friendly bloke. Got another shirt signed by a few, including Earnie, when I was slightly merry and decided to wait outside the player''s carpark after a match. Darren Eadie''s and Andy Johnson''s from the Norfolk Show a few years back. Darren''s in my pride and joy. Minnie Driver Matthew Perry (Chandler in ''Friends'') Kevin Spacey Big Daddy! Also have a signed copy of Jason Donovan''s autobiography and a signed Iwan autobiography -

Wig and Pen, great homemade pies and Bitburger on tap. They also do Bitburger Drive which was an almost acceptable alternative when I was pregnant. -
Don''t know if this has already been discussed, can''t be bothered to sift through all the doom and gloom to find out either! But do we know why Lupoli didn''t even feature on the bench last night? I was looking forward to seeing him play.
I think Richmal Crompton is going to go over the heads of most on the board, couldn''t you have used Pokemon instead? [:P]
I always assumed Richmal Crompton was a man when I was a kid. It wasn''t until a few years ago I realised she was a she! We had all the books at home as well. But yes, I think a lot of the school holidayers on here at the moment may not be aware of Just William... -
What do you mean, you don''t want to get the thread closed? Have other Earthquake threads been closed?

Oh, we've now been linked with Mifsud
Michael Mifsud hands in transfer request Jul 22 2008 by Andy Turner COVENTRY City striker Michael Mifsud has handed in a transfer request. The Maltese international has one year to run on his contract and the Sky Blues will be keen to cash in now rather than allow him to leave on a free transfer. And they will be hopeful of sparking a bidding war with Bristol City, Norwich City and Crystal Palace all having expressed an interest during the summer. Coventry City boss Chris Coleman said: "I''ve spoken with Michael this week and he has agreed with his agent that it''s time to move on. "He''s said he will hand in a transfer request and there''s nothing we can do about that. "We have to move on ourselves and if a club comes in and offers the right money then we''ll have to look at it." "We risk having an unhappy player on our hands and then losing him for nothing. If he feels his career is going to progess elsewhere there''s nothing we can do about that." Clinton Morrison, who is on trial with the Sky Blues, was pulled out of training today nursing groin and hip injuries.
I see our director, Mr Turner, has a second career as a journalist in Coventry. Maybe he will earn enough extra cash to donate a bit more to the club... -

Realistic Goalkeeper Options
iluveadie replied to Lincs CR's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
So we send our number 3 goalkeeper to them, he becomes their number 1, and they then send their number 2 goalkeeper to us... hope it doesn''t cost anything!
Exactly what I was just thinking... -
Hucks turns down premierleague!
iluveadie replied to NCFC_Shaun's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I''m simply staggered by how many people are still crying over Hucks departutre - he''s gone, good, now we can move forward. He was a one trick pony who singular trick, putting the ball past some one and running fast, deserted him 2-3 years ago. An expensive luxuruy who wasn''t a team player and offered no support defensively. A left winger without a left foot who, achingly predictably, had to cut inside and never delivered decent crosses. We got the wrong Christmas present that Boxing Day evening, we should have unwrapped Peter Crouch as the permanent signing Wurzel
Yes Crouch would have been a nice Christmas present, but he would have left within a season or so when the big boys came calling. -
Dotherty was on 9k a week, but his new contract he is on 8k a week because of the wage cap. Thats why he took so long to decide. He thought he was going to get a better offer elsewhere! LOL!
How do you know his contract details? Just curious! -
just how broke are we ?
iluveadie replied to Henrik Mortensons Biographer's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Only libellous if untrue obviously. You seem sure it is untrue care to enlighten us more? Every penny Delia put in to the Club appears to have been secured against assets, why not the deeds to Colney? You don''t understand that Cullum is being portrayed as the Devil incarnate for offering money "with strings attached" yet that''s only what Delias been doing behind our backs for years. Wonder how much of the Clubs assets are used to balance the books even though they technically belong to third parties? Can''t see the Turners MO being any different. Think there''ll be some bones if not a skeleton as such in a dusty old cupboard down FCR and maybe that''s another reason Delia doesn''t want to hang around too long with someone else in charge?
I hardly think he''s been portrayed as the Devil incarnate - most people on this board have hailed him as a saint. It''s just that some people have questioned his offer and rightly so. They would prefer to step back and consider things before jumping to conclusions. Although, it would be very nice if we were given all the facts so that things could be considered properly. I hope Delia and co will actually let us know exactly what went on last week, or I fear they will be losing the few supporters they have left. -
Possible twist in the tale: Turners investing ?
iluveadie replied to SI's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Could this still be a possibility? Delia certainly hinted at the Norfolk Show that investment is on the way... With all this talk about Cullum, they have slipped out of the limelight. Maybe its them after all..........
No chance. -

Lets sign Damien Francis!

Yep, I''d have him back. And Mart Poom as experienced goalkeeper cover would be great. -
16
Just wondered if someone can enlighten me on something? How many posts does someone have to have contributed to this board before they are allowed to have an opinion or discuss anything? Yes, I''m sure there are some saddos who come over from across the border to wind us up, but this isn''t always the case. Or won''t you believe me because I have posted less than twenty times?!
16
There!! I''ve done it. 16 and counting. Do I get a badge and a certificate now?

Recipes. How to wreck a football club.
How about: Try to re-make it in your own little image - and then pout and sulk when you can''t get it all your own way. Can you think of a better one? Newbies, Glory Hunters or Binners?

.....Well I bloody well believe its club employee''s acting under Furher Smiths orders.....its blown up in their face big time, and they need to try and talk the fans around again. Am I alone or does anyone else feel embarrassed by that sort of appalling bad taste remark and after more than 50 years of watching my Team through the good times and the bad times, its not the Smiths or the Board that are making me angry, it is this sort of comment.
You definitely are not alone, many of the posts on this board in the last few weeks have disgusted me.
I meant ''few days'', not weeks!
