1. And people said we didnt need strengthening , strikers are woeful .
2. We dont sound like scoring at all again .
3. Bennett back in the Brighton side tonight , that ones gone for good now.
4.
right so instead of putting on hoolahan on who played fairly well, he''s kept lansbury who did crap last time
Wenger only loans if the players are going to play .
5. Thing is if you want a clubs best players you have to pay , take Charlie Austin i bet he went for around £1.8m , most Brighton fans think our bid of under a million was taking the p/ss and anything under £1.5 should have been rejected .If Bennett is as good as they say and the best player in the division we were never getting him for £900,000 .
6. Martin 4Jackson 4Going into February that return from your 2nd and 3rd choice striker is abysmal and Holt is hardly prolific is he , as for Wilbraham we could be waiting years for him to reach 4 . Defender won us the points against Qpr and a point against Cardiff ,midfielder saved our bacon against Sheff Utd and when a sitter fell for a striker to wrap up the points at Palace it went begging. We have a pretty solid defence a decent midfield but our attackers are very much league 1 standard.
7. The summer may be the best time to buy but if come the summer we are still in the Championship its to late the chance has been and gone, it may be years before we get this close again . I think we desperately needed a striker as we are so weak up front , but at the end of the day Lambert had only one signing in mind Bennett and after saying we were going for an all out promotion push we could not even push enough to land him his one target .Will we regret it ? i hope not but i fear we will .
8. Would rather be playing them at Portman Road , Carrow Road must be the best ground to come to if you want 3 points , Palace ,Hull and now Burnley all with woeful away records win with ease . Hate to think what a good side would do to us .
9. Far to many passengers in this Norwich side , Grant Holt needs replacing asap , he is a lower league overweight lump totally out of his depth.
10.
Yeah but the Nelson lovers will be out in force now you''ve said that ! Why cant people see how slow and how bad his distribution is ? He might have been ok/good last year BUT league one makes alot of players look good ! Thats why he''s spent the whole of his career in the lower leagues !
Almost all our squad have spent their entire careers at league 1 level thats why we are struggling .
11. None , should have been released and a replacement bought in the summer , been here long enough to get fit by now and it looks like we bought a dud.
12. Footballing wise head and shoulders better than any striker we have on our books .
13. I think is a possibility we will struggle big time , not just because we were well beaten at home by one of the leagues weakest sides but because we are a squad packed with lower league players .
14. Do we need the Ipswich approach , yes but only in the shape of a new owner to buy us the class of player that we need for this league . We will struggle because we are a league 1 side with  maybe three players who can cut it at this level and thats being generous. We need to add proven Championship players (and not the ones thrown on the scrapeheap by teams like Coventry) but i would guess the money is already spent , without them we can all look forward to winning the pub league again next season .
15. Squad for Kings Lynn match just been posted by somebody on wotb Squad for Kings Lynn friendly Norwich City announce squad that includes 5 first team players...... 16. Finally, the City boss admitted that he is in the market for a striker, with that position the only one he hasn’t strengthened so far this summer. Gillingham forward Simeon Jackson has been strongly linked with a switch to Carrow Road and although Lambert didn’t reveal the identity of the man in question, City are certainly in the hunt for a new hitman to complement Messrs Holt and Martin. “We’ve tried but it hasn’t materialised as yet and we’ll have to see what happens in the next week.  It’s not gone but we’ll have to wait and see.  We can only do what we can do due to finances.” Looks as if we could not come up with the asking price then , knocks the conspiracies that we are being financed by some mystery backer on the head anyway.
17.
Whilst we have to be realistic, this ncfc fellow reeks of binner. I thank you
No just a realist .
18. Why are people worrying about the top 6 , we need to concentrate on not being in the bottom 6 .Most people on here are overrating this squad beyond belief.
19.
Andy Keogh
Doncaster are after Keogh to team up again with Billy Sharp , very good strikeforce if they get him .Think we could do with 2 new strikers and one of them proven in the Championship we look very very weak up front.
20. I would say £600 -700k myself ,Billy Sharp a proven Championship striker just moved to Doncaster for £1 million and what a bargain that is  .
21. Gillingham Chairman has said he can leave for the right price , we are said to be interested  but everything has gone quiet , so can we afford him or will we end up with Rory Loy or the like.
22.
My memory may be fading, but I remember Kevin Bond as being fircone useless!
Not the worst to have played for us by a long stretch , trouble being the managers son is most people believe thats the only reason you are in the side in the first place.
