1. I think shifting the empties might require a Chinook....
 2. It seems the search for a tall striker is over looking at the size of the crane being filmed outside Carrow Road this morning - don''t know what that was al about?
 3. For goodness sake NCISA - don''t bite. It will get bored eventually and crawl back to its hole.
 4.
I don''t think we should be focusing soley on footballing legend as the representative, although having someone like Dion would be a welcome step in the right direction. IMHO, the first requirement is for a person would have to be a financial Mr Fix-it, someone who could sanity check all the non footballing revenues and work out if they''re actually making a contribution to the bottom line. I''m always amused by the constant referencing to addtional revenue streams, which are absolutely important, but what''s the point of gaining an extra pound for the CLub, if it costs you £1.10 to earn it?
Isn''t that what the Turners were doing/did?
 5. My family have competed there for years - it makes a nice change to be able to compete against some of the best in the Country without travelling miles to do so.
 6. He is protecting his investment because without a team we could be bound for League Two, whereby his stake in the club would be worth considerably less than it is now.
 7. Haha - Foghorn Leghorn - nice one - without doubt the most cringeworthy cartoon character ever devised - rather fitting methinks.....
 8. And we all are LQ - perhaps if you realised that, you may actually see the other side of the story.
 9.
IBATo be fair if people are that strapped, and I feel for those that are, then they shouldn''t be renewing. Its not like they wouldn''t be able to get a ticket for the odd game when flush ist it? There is no doubt that the circumstances of some, a minority, will have unfortunately changed since they contracted to buy season tickets but for most that will not be the case. it''s those people who p_ss me off because, as I have already said, if they were hovering on the brink of poverty what were they doing committing to a season ticket at NCFC in the first place. IMO most of the "rebaters" on here asked for their 11£ a month back out of some strange idea they were making an important gesture when all they were doing was doing the club and all the fans out of 22£ every time this futile gesture was made. I want this club to get promoted back at the first attempt, in fact, I think it is critically important that we do for several reasons so all the "rebaters" did was reduce significantly the amount of money that would have been available to buy the players that would have helped us towards this vital objective. So, not only will I not respect their decision to take the rebate but I will hold them in contempt as well.
Because they love the club and love going to the games??
 10.
Two posts, the second of which alleges a conspiracy, about a post disappearing that is quite evidently still there? I take it I''m the "certain person" who in your head runs crying to the mods when someone says something she doesn''t like! Yeah, right.Oh well.Anyway, just to set the record straight despite your attempts to bait me I haven''t been replying to anything you say for two reasons:1) I''m sure that everyone else on here finds spats as tedious as I do, and that''s what you turn any dialogue into.2) What part of "I''m not interested in anything you have to say" don''t you understand? I only ask because that was the last thing you said to me at a meeting a while ago so I''m bemused as to why you continually question me on here.Aside from all that (and to address your witty quip in the post that hasn''t been removed) there is a huge difference between reportage and rhetoric. Any half decent journalist knows that. Reportage is a factual account, rhetoric is musings on a point. When I read one I expect an accurate assessment of a given situation, the other is only given more credence than anything posted on here because the person writing it is a professional. However, that doesn''t always mean it''s right. Obviously because you don''t like the fact that I quoted from the Archant piece about the St Andrews Hall meeting you feel that they didn''t do a very good job of factually reporting the evening. I''d suggest you take it up with them if that''s the case.
How can you continually question the organisation of which Mr Tilson is chairman of, without expecting him to reply?
 11. Stats don''t tell the whole story though do they Juan - if they did- there would be kids running around with bodies only 40% complete......If we are seroius about getting back to a reasonable level, we have to keep our better players.
 12.

I quite agree Shyster that its our right to question these various groups but whther they answer or not is a different matter Kitty -  How much have you raised in the last 6 months 1st Dec to 1st June, to add to the £970 you raised the previous 6 months.? Trust - How many season ticket holders passed their rebates over to you? Thanks Steve and Mike in anticipation. [:)]
Good stuff CA. Although I believe all that will be proven is that NCISA will again be proven the primary and only serious body that anyone should consider throwing money at. If we want to know what goes on inside our club we need a representative on the board. To me there is no point chucking money into a kitty when it could be the likes of Peter Grant that is spending it.And I hear so little from the Trust it startles me. NCISA is the way to go. If they had more money they can buy more shares and make their voice that bit stronger. There is nothing to say that NCISA could not also adapt the kitty concept at a later stage but I think its a bit futile at the moment. Even if they have doubled what they have got in the first six months what exactly will be bought with it? An accadamy players wages for a couple of months? A couple of days wages for a first team player? It seems very insignificant in the grander scheme of things. It would have been nice if they had managed to get say £5 off 15,000 fans and then we would be looking at buying another Cody MacDonald.
They maybe could but as your post demonstrates people are full of excuses as to why not to put money in. It''s for the wrong player'' it would only be wasted, the leaves on the track are the wrong kind of leaves and on and on and on. Football is a roulette wheel you stick ya money in cause ya chances of winning are better than if you don''t. People love to moan. The NCISA is the sunday newspaper equivelant of the news of the world, spin, sensationalism and lack of substance. Go on findin ya reasons not to financialy support the club and boring old people like me will keep on subscribing our tenners and our rebates and praying that some of it makes a difference cause it''s more likely to get us promoted than anything the moaners are doing
ya......[<:o)]
 13.

I thought he had "No plans to go away" this summer
He was gonna give up his summer holiday for the cause. Perhaps Mrs Gunn decided otherwise.
With 3 permanent signings already and more in the pipeline it sounds like he deserves a break. I dont expect much more to happen until the end of June because of contracts.
Yeah - those phones are very heavy and lets not even THINK about the effort involved in expelling words from your mouth..........
 14.

How on earth did Keegan fail at Newcastle? He took them from the bottom of what is now the Championship to runners up in the Premiership. He took Fulham from League 1 to the Championship comfortably. His Man City side (led incedentally by Hucks) absoloutly tore the Championship a new one and then kept them in the top flight. Then his 2nd tenure at Newcastle he had no control over who was going in and out of the club and left because he wanted to control, Newcastle were 6th in the the table when he left i beleive. Hardly a failure.
As I said earlier, hope he doesn''t get the job as he certainly is far from a failure.
Teams he has managed in this division have munched their opposition - I too hope he doesn''t get the job!
 15. I always find it amazing that when the consensus of opinion swings away from a posters own opinion, the message board then becomes a poorer place in their opinion. Why can''t some people accept that they are in the minority without bleating about the decline of the messageboard?
 16.
Yep, once we have won the 20/20 competition, the Ashes, Murray wins Wimbledon, we get promoted to the championship and England win the world cup I''ll be a happy man ( I wonder what the odds are on that ? ). [:D]
Got to be worth a fiver in an accumulator surely - especially as you''ve said it (superstitious mich?). You''ll regret it later if it comes off[:D]
 17. I''ll take us to exact revenge and cause a cup upset by giant-killing Barnet.......
 18. Poked its eyes out and stuck her fingers up its nose? Tricky....could have burnt her.....
 19. I always wondered what that green gunge was on my carrots......
 20.
Would you support such action now or in the near future? Yes or No please.  As I have stated numerous times my reason for asking has nothing to do with the quality or value of the drink/food vendors. People should be free to make their own choices on value of items they purchase. It is to do with supporting actions that reduce club revenues pure and simple.
You are Barry and I claim my £5 please........
 21. They do make a nice biscuit though.....got ickle sugary bits on em[:)]
