1. Sound reasoning Sal.  It all sounds very feasible the way you''ve put it but... (there''s always one isn''t there).... didn''t Luton say publicly that we were nowhere near their valuation of Bell and that they hadn''t heard any more from us?  If we have actually signed them, which I sincerely hope we have, and are just waiting for holidays to end, why have their clubs not said they''ve gone? After all, what''s stopping them? I''m afraid that the little voice in my head (which quite possibly could be the work of Wiz as it''s being very negative) is saying "no deal, unless it''s a done deal and published on the official site.
2. Just a thought but is there some sort of transfer etiquette that says a club that has sold a player is not allowed to publicise the fact before the purchasing club?  If not, and Hooligan has already signed, as many have stated on here, then why have Blackpool not told their fans that he''s gone??  Just a thought.
3. Wallace, Awwww, did I hurt your feelings?  Well then don''t post rubbish on which you have no factual base. Surely the internet is the place where we all mock or "take swipes" as you put it.  If we all had to meet and exchange pleasantries face to face then there wouldn''t be any use for forums such as this would there. If you knew it was a b*tching fest in the first place then why the bl**dy hell did you join?? Now be a good boy, pop your dummy back in, and go back to beddy byes. Oh sorry, I forgot, you''re not reading this are you.
4. And today is...................yup, TUESDAY !!!  Yet another Monday has gone by and no Hoolahan signing.  Anyone else getting a bit bored with the topic?   Wonder who''ll be next with the "Hoolahan to sign Monday" thread, "defo, fact, 3 years, blah blah blah blah............  My money''s on ncfclad or maybe you again Mr Wallace.  Well do us all a favour and kindly bu**er off, or we''ll send smudger round, or worse.... THE WIZ !!! You have been warned.
5. Oh yes, before I forget SOB, spot on, well said.
6.
Not in so many words Stevee (how refreshing that would be!!) but Doncaster has repeatedly come out with excuses for why we can''t compete with club X Y or Z and moralised about clubs that have overstretched themselves.  Not a word about what Hull have achieved with a limited amount of new investment, or Crystal Palace who have for many years been our nearest equivalent in terms of aspiration and achievement.  Hull had never reached the top flight in their history, and in the present climate you''d have thought it was nigh on impossible.  Did they let that stop them?  No. The implication is that we should no longer aspire to a top six finish.  We have developed a "Can''t Do" mentality that is deeply worrying.  All we want is for our club to punch its weight.
Pardon me for being curious but what would you call a "limited amount of new investment". Are you saying that Hull don''t in fact have millions from their very wealthy backer?
7. Here fishy fishy fishy.............................. Come on Wiz old boy, if you can''t take a joke, you shouldn''t have joined. I thought it was priceless!
8. Bookies hardly get it wrong???? I''d love to see the odds they quoted for a Bristol v Hull play off final or on either of them or Stoke going up.
9.
The club is in a right state and its not looking good. No medical, kit or scouting staff No players of any substance and none on the horizon and worst of all, no money Delias silence if deafining I think roeder has shacken things up both below and above him to such a extent that the club is heading for a very very bad time. When all is done if it ends in glory the manager, players, coaching staff and the cheif exec will role in the glory. If it ends in failure the manager, players, coaching staff get sacked the cheif exec blaims them. I believe that this time Mr Roeder has the better hand if the worst outcome befalls us. At present no staff, few players and little money to replace with better. When we all realise that we cant compete well before christmas the board will take the blaim because roeder didnt have any money to spend. What frustrates me most is that i believe the beloved mr doncaster (the real problem with our club) will see he will not be able to blaim anyone else realise the predicament he could be in and will jump ship well before the fat lady sings and avoid all the flack he deserves for leading this club from prem to champ 1 in 3 seasons. watch this space and more importantly watch mr doncaster and his CV writting team.
If you can''t write anything intelligent at least write something intelligible.  I hope Doncaster doesn''t have your CV "writting" team.
10. Would that be the same person who said "press conference Monday" ? Or perhaps the person who''ll be saying "Press conference Wednesday" tomorrow ??[*-)]
11. Simply marvellous Purple, although you might have to aim a little lower as it appears some didn''t quite catch on. Welcome aboard! Be careful of being to upbeat though as you''ll be tarred a "Percy positve" along with the rest of us who refuse to be seduced by the dark side.
12. Well, while we''re in a singing mood.....   "I guess it would be nice If we could buy somebody No, not just anybody Somebody who''s good.   Glenn wouldn''t have to think twice If we just had some money But we ain''t got no money So we''ll have to be shrewd.   But before this forum, becomes a war zone Before Wizard throws his ticket out the door. Remember Roeders a clever b*gger He''ll sign a star for peanuts, then go out and sign some more......... YOU''VE JUST GOTTA HAVE FAITH !!!!"
13. Surely Camul, the scene must be taken from "His last bow" ? (or not as the case may be.....)
14.
I know, im not expecting much. Im a lot more optimistic under Glenn than under PG, but even so, im trying to stay positive until pre season training hits. And as you say, the mean reason im not worked up over Earnie is that we need multiple signings in many positions, not just one. Because quite frankly our squad is pretty awful (Due to lack of ambition, plus crap signings). Right now Id rather spend 1mil on Taylor, 400k on Rigters, 400k on Gorkss (?), 250k on hoolahan - Plus wages. Than 2.5 mil on Earnie. Not that simple, but you get my drift.
I''m certainly with you there Trent.  I''m very hopeful that GR has identified the calibre of player he wants and I''m hopeful more than one will be "winging" their way here before too long. I would advocate patience to all but I know that will just fall on deaf ears amongst the doom and gloom brigade.  I''d much rather have any 2 of the players you''ve mentioned than Earnmore any day.  Wouldn''t it be great to get all 4? Probably not for some.
15.
this has gone a long way in keeping forest up next season.....
Never heard the phrase "one swallow does not a summer make" ??   I hardly think the signing of one championship level striker will be the making of Forests season. It only takes one injury.......
16. Where he gets £4 million from is beyond me.   Greeno only went for 2 and he was far more experienced and already capped!! Sheer fantasy from Mr Fry.
17.
Of course players like Malky clearly loved the club and that showed in his performances but was that because he was only (i say only!!) a good player pushing himself harder. We want great players who don''t need to push themselves cos they are good enough to perform in the league.
What a load of *&%^ !!  Don''t need to push themselves ???? I don''t want to see any player out there in a yellow shirt who doesn''t need to push themselves.  Do you honestly believe Rooney doesn''t push himself to the limit every game?  Any player who doesn''t, or doesn''t feel they need to is not worthy of a place in the team....... any team!!  It doesn''t matter how good you are.
18.
There''s some bloody short memories on here, I certainly don''t want the scheming two faced *@*£"^ back in my club...........at least Jamie''s loyal and given a good strike partner will score as much as Earnalot!.[:@]
Well here''s a first Wiz, I totally bl**dy well agree with you !!!! Earnshaw has no sense of loyalty whatsoever, I wouldn''t want him back here, EVER!!  Give me Curo anyday, he loves this club.  OK, so Curo didn''t have the best of seasons last season but I believe he will come good again, with the right strike partner.  His work rate is far higher than goal hanger Earnshaw, who never seems to venture into his own half. Stick with Curo and tell Earnmore "no thanks".  For that sort of money, if we had to pay £2.5mil, we could get Hooligan and his mate and maybe more.

20.
I smell a binner.
I smell a Tw*t, and he''s round and belongs in the sea.
21.
1 goal scored in 8 games but 12 conceeded. 1 striker worth the name in the squad and we want to spend £700k+ on a central defender when the budget is only expected/rumoured to be in the region of £3m??  Wrong amont of money on the wrong part of the team.
????? Are you sure ?????  Only 2 central defenders at the club, one who may go very soon, and you don''t think we need another one, with premiership experience?  Glad you''re not in charge of building the team.
22. I think it''s an absolute disgrace !! Roeder obviously knew that he wasn''t going to offer Hux a new contract so why did he not let the fans know so that they could give the man the send off he deserved. Glenn, you have definitely handled this the wrong way!! Surely he must have realised the place that Hux holds in the hearts of all true Norwich fans.  I realise that there are many doubters here who think that Hux is past his best but that does not detract from the years of service and not least LOYALTY that he has shown this club, the club that he obviously loves.  In this era of money money money I find it even more amazing that ANY player would show such loyalty even to the extent of never wanting to play against the club. To you Darren, if as they say, you read these, you have my utmost respect and gratitude for you service to this club. I would love to see you back at some stage in whatever capacity you would chose.  You have been one of the true greats to have worn the yellow and green. Thank you for everything. To you Glenn, you have a lot of work to do to make up for this.
23. [:''(] ........ Haven''t laughed so much in ages, well, not since the last time you back tracked at 90 miles an hour Wiz. Please please chill out old chap. I''m sure all on here would be in agreement that changing your name, opinions, views on the board etc etc etc will not make a blind bit of difference if you have an apoplectic fit and drop dead from a heart attack, so CALM THE *&%* DOWN !! Having said that, when you reach Australia, which won''t be too long, please take some friendly advice......... STOP DIGGING !!!!
24.
Duh.......Isn''t that what majority shareholders do? My arguement is that she claims ALL of her money is being pumped in NCFC. It simply isnt true. Not that I would expect her to invest all her money in the club but dont go publicising these things if they aren''t true......
It is isn''t it?   Apart from the bills, the mortgage, petrol, food, a bit of DIY, the odd crate of wine ........................... Trust you to take it literally ! Duh !! I expect you believe every word Wiz and Whittle say to too or is that a contractual requirement when you sign up to their fan club.
25.
The postcode boy''s (we8 wba) posts seem to make far more sense if you read them in a ''chinese'' accent
You know something Ralph, that actually bloody well works [:D]
