1. ''Is football more important then friendship?'' No. Next! (My brother once got headbutted on the top of a mountain just for wearing a Norwich hat. Rather chippy sometimes, these Ipswich sorts)
2.
No. Carrow Road should NEVER be re-named.
This. And remember ''Aviva'' doesn''t mean anything at all. I was there on ''Aviva Day'' with my ''Aviva'' cupcake and my ''Aviva'' lolly and was asked to toast ''Aviva''. My ''Aviva'' plastic glass stayed on the table. We tried googling what it meant. Came up with a French bidet company.
3. Got to say I sometimes wonder if I go to the same games as other people. Now, I am no tactical genuis but having watched Norwich since the early 80''s there are a few players I can recall that I couldn''t wait to see every week because of the way they played football. Fox, Crook, Bellamy, Eadie, Coney, Huckerby and in this team, Wes.*I my humble the reason he is percieved to give the ball away too often (Saturday''s pass completion rate withstanding) is that the game flows through him. We look to him to do something with the ball and he is one of the few players able to create an opening from nothing, yes he gives it away but that''s because he has the damn thing more than the rest of them.* one of these isn''t true.
4.
When Wes plays well, City play well. The little man makes us tick and when he''s off his game as he was on Wednesday you see the result. When Wes is missing, Ricardo is always worried.
This,  times n!
5. Spot on as always Ricardo. For me. if anyone was going to walk away with a bottle of bad Champagne it would have been Ayala. £50M for Torres. Then again I haven''t seen the man change a tyre,  so let''s not get carried away with job roles shall we.
6. Ooh, what shall we have on our shirts in front of a worldwide TV audience (and some people in North London who support Arsenal) Is it a charity looking after vunerable children or.... an international finance company who can''t even be bothered to have the name of the fine city it came from in its name anymore.  Railway Children wins for me. Looked up what aviva meant on the internet once. Managed to find a French Bidet company.
7. The only half time entertainment I get is speculating on how they get the lager to taste that bad.
8. Oooh, now what would we say if we let one of them ''Gays'' play for us? (What, we already did.... never...) Stupid question.
9. A great review as always Ricardo. I agree with you that we need to be so much smarter in this league. It shows in the stuff we would get away with in the Championship, leaving space outside the area, giving the ball away time after time, Stupid giveaway penalties, and the way we wasted free kicks. (The Bradley Johnson effort from 40ish yards....why?!)We look like a team in need of a £20M striker, the difference being, he would have scored where Morison missed with his header, the difference between one point and none, a draw and a loss, staying up and not. And that shouldn''t take away from a performance that for the most part matched W Brom from start to finish. A final thought. In this division you need inspiration and someone who can do something different, we only have one player genuinely capable of doing this, Wes must start.
10. I thought Crofts was excellent last night, always looking for the ball and moving it on intelligently. Nice to see Morrison giving Terry some Holt style stick too.
11.
Im not inciting anything i dont think anyway?, i just hope there isnt and ive heard from a few people that its alledgedly kicking off if you like and theres riot vans about. I dont see the need for this madness. I was just wondering if this was true or not.
Fair enough old son. Need to be careful with this kind of stuff, given the day''s events.
12. Does this now mean our home match with them will have to be moved to the Sunday? I was under the impression this would be the case if they won this tie. Good for me as I have to play cricket on the Sat, not so good for most I would think.
13.
Probably at least 130 yards by 100 yards so that there is enough room for goalkeepers to have a bit of space to take a run up for a goal kick, and the goal nets are not within touching distance of the fans. Also a bit of space on the sides for players to warm up on the sidelines - and somewhere to lay down when they come off the pitch, injured. There should also be space for people like the bloke who used to wander round selling ''sweee-eeets''.
Nice!
14. I''m not sure that it will give them too much of an advantage. The side they are likely to play in the competition won''t be any more of a challenge than our friendly runouts, with the higher possibility of injury for the Stoke lads on top.Good idea about the hoardings I must say but to me  I just hope Stoke get through so we play on the Sunday rather than the Sat as I have to play cricket. (and yes this is utterly selfish and will be really annoying for everyone wanting a proper football day but the easy answer is to have the bloody season start at a proper time in September, once we''ve finished the nation''s summer game eh....)
15. I believe that the Portsmouth pub case is still pending. There has been a provisional European decision in which the Judges indicated that they are tending toward ruling the current rules in violation of the freedom of goods and services across the European free trade area.  Curiously enough the Premier league and broadcasters don''t think much of this and a final ruling is on the way. I reckon the pubs have seen this and are betting that either the case will go in their favour or that the ruling could take sufficiently long to come through that they will all be able to show games this season without getting stung.
16. Hmm. Maybe a bit of NCFC musical inspiration from the Serious Drinking lads will help.Norwich City punk rock.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7r0Qs1eMTg(one day I will learn how to post a link)
17. I rather enjoyed that. (apart from the music)What impressed me most was his heading ability. Perhaps a League 1 / Championship loan next year or maybe a wildcard on the bench.
18. Wiz, the only way Lambert would relegate us twice would be though sheer boredom, just to relive the fun of destroying all and sundry in League 1 and the Championship again. Has a certain attraction to be honest, however i''ll just have to settle for destroying Man U at Carrrow Rd in a few months time.
19.
My views as a STH ,   I have held one since 2000, my love for this club started in the late 1970’s when I was lucky enough to have been taken to my 1st game by my father. In those days and through the 80’s and even early 90’s  it was not necessary to buy one as you could pretty much guarantee that you could pay and watch on any match day, with the only stipulation being that big name games or derby’s would require a very early arrival and queuing to ensure that you got in.   Times changed and as my family grew older and were less of a financial drain I was fortunate to be able to afford one.   Although I have sympathy for those casual fans that cannot make the commitment due to finances, geography or even ill heath I do not understand why I should be deemed anything other than a fanatical supporter of this club. Next season I will  have the deepest sympathy for those that will find it difficult to attend due to limited availably of casual tickets, but I feel no guilt in knowing that my seat is guaranteed not only for premiership games having been  through some of the clubs deepest darkest times.   I was offered £100 and then £200 for my ticket at Riverside on Saturday,  £200 !!!!! half of this year season ticket cost, now I am sure that that individual had probably attended a number of games this season , and with that in mind would he had not have been better of buying one at the start of the season ?. That is why I have little or no sympathy unless they fall into the categories listed above !
WHAT! I was on a training course on Saturday and so gave mine away to my brother!! Obviously selling it would have been vulgar and no gentleman would do such a thing.... yes, that''s what i''ll say if anyone asks....no really... {punches self in head}
20.
How you call yourself the Barclay King if you no longer frequent the Barclay?!
It''s a banking thing. Sheesh Gerry.
21. Cracking report as always Richardo, If I had a pound for every time i''ve said, ''there''s no injury time winner today chaps''and been proven wrong,  i''d have just enough for a pint at the St Giles house Hotel Norwich (nearly) bleedin rip off.....!Great last goal commentary from the radio Norfolk boys if you can find it too.
22. Cracking stuff Ricardo. I was worried sick at half time and said to the chaps we would need four. The second half performance was one of the best i''ve ever seen a Norwich side play in defense of a lead. The three or four minutes Lansdbury and Holt put themselves on the line for at the end could prove priceless come the end of the season.Good job the next one has a little less riding on it...
