1.

69 today [D]
Is that her age or Michael Wynn''s present to her?
No it''s a new recipe due to appear in her next book. It''s the Fur Burger!
2. You can add another to that list. And for two reasons: (1) If he is taking this long to decide where he wants to be next season, clearly his heart isn''t with Norwich, so for the sake of team spirit I would rather he went and (2) There is a very good chance that a fresh face and attitude could be a good thing.
3. Cant imagine anyone other than a native of that area ever wanting to go to Middlesborough. Surely if it''s true he has other options he would opt for one of those first.
4. Given that the club have stated it''s aim is to have completed all new signings by the end of June (ish), it seems there may have been the odd hitch recently. Could it be that one or more from PL''s ''A'' list have said no and this is why everthing has gone quiet? Would be interested to hear your thoughts.
5. The owner of a small business had been hit badly by the recession to the point at which he had no choice but to get rid of one of his only two employees, Jack and Jill. They were both extremely loyal and excellent at their work and consequently he agonised for hours over who would be the unlucky one. He didn''t sleep a wink the night before he had to do the dirty deed and finally decided the only thing he could do would be to fire the first one to come into the office the next morning. When the time came it was Jill who came in first. So, bracing himself he said "Jill, you know times have been getting harder recently and I feel so bad about this, but I''m afraid I had to decide wether to either lay you or Jack off". Before he could say anything else Jill replied "Well do you think you could jack off cos I''ve got a headache"!
6. Now I know that''s a lie............They only use Waitrose!
7. We haven''t signed anyone since last week and it''s half way through Wednesday now! Even the rumours have stopped, not a supermarket or hotel sighting for days. I keep pressing the refresh button hoping to see ''Press Conference at ---- Today'', but nothing. Is the general opinion ''No News Is Good News'' or the opposite? Is the big one just around the corner?
8. Same old story I''m afraid. Was offered a trial with Norwich when I was 16, but had what I thought was a guarenteed life long career sorted and decided not to accept. That just turned out to be the first of a long list of really stupid decisions. Mind you, at least I can dream that I might have made it. lol.
9. Am I the only person unable to feel any enthusiasm over the prospect of signing Solomon Taiwo? If he couldn''t hold down a regular place in the Cardiff team, why would PL want him? Please can someone tell me something that would explain this signing.....If of course, as most peaople seem to think, it is going to be Taiwo.
10. You just can''t keep him out of that ''hole role''!
11. Why would he want to move from play-off finalists to mid-table finishers who spent most of the season in the bottom 6? Hardly a good career move and that''s before you consider the fact that Roy Keane is an under-achieving bully who''s reputation must be common knowledge throughout the football leagues. Surely Chopra would only leave Cardiff for a Premier League club of whom I''m sure thare are a few interested.
12. No sooner we begin to feel a little more confident that Paul Lambert is staying with us, we now find McNally is on the Scottish FA''s most wanted list!
13.
Two days of this sh*t now?
Thanks Butler, I am sure I''m not in the minority in looking forward to this every Friday. It brightens the day to have a bit of a laugh. Most of us understand the concept of humour, you don''t take it literally and you see it for what it is ....A JOKE! Please go away faufage (really funny name by the way.....Not) and get a life. Who the hell asked you to read this thread anyway?
14. I agree, but he wouldn''t be saddled with that prize tw*t Doncaster at Burnley. And if he hadn''t here, we will never know.
15. BANANA - Wins by a country mile. Almost every post is nothing more than absolute trivia and aimed I suspect at getting his/her post count up.
16. I understand his daughter had this brilliant idea that internet gambling was the way forward and started up something called Bet365. That, I think is where all the money has come from.
17. I may have but I don''t think so. What is going on regarding the scrap with Colchester over compensation for PL etc. I thought there was supposed to be a hearing in February and then there were apparently talks between the two clubs taking place. What happened, does anybody know?
18. No your''e not Nuff. You are absolutely spot on. It''s horses for courses and our current squad was good enough to get out of L1. And a fantastic job they did too. They will however not be good enough to achieve anything other than survival in the Championship. If we want to push on and be sreious conteders next season PL would be crazy to let sentiment impair his judgement. Thankfully I don''t believe for one second that he will.
19. Oops! Too many Foremans. Replace one with Marciano. I know he''s dead but he could just do the first half!
20. Lewis (L) Foreman Bruno Haye Holyfield Ali Cooper Tyson Klitschko Foreman Frazier
21. Pretty much agree with this CF, but so far we seem to be following in Leicester''s footsteps and look where they are right now. The thing that bothers me is that if we don''t continue to make the rapid progress we currently are making, how long will we be able to hang on to PL? I think we all realise he and his management team are essential to our continued success.
22. We all knew this speculation was going to resurface as soon as TM got the push. Even though only a few weeks back PL had gone on record saying he was not interested in Celtic or anyone else for that matter. If memory serves one of the points he made was that he did''t fancy playing the same team four times each season. Why do so many people think Celtic is such a great job? They are one of only two medium sized fish in a very small pond. There is no competition to speak of and apart from the greater chance of European competition it must be boring. How many of us, if being totally honest would expect either Celtic or Rangers to make the top half of the Premiership. I personally don''t think they would set the world alight in the Championship. If PL get''s us back up and then get''s us back to the Premiership, his stock is going to be much higher than if he''d gone north of the border. And who knows, he might then be in line to take over from Sir Alex.
23. It seems the majority of threads that extend beyond one page end up with a couple of posters trading personal insults, having completely departed from the intended subject.
24. Chris Goreham has missed a few breakfast shows recently. Wonder if there is any link with the wife''s absence?
