1.

The problem is that we''ve (badly) we been forced to radhly replace all of our more expensive, better players with cheaper, worse ones as the parachute money runs out. A bit like the other two teams (Palace and Soton) who came down with us from the Premiership. Now look at the league table and tell me how much better they''re getting on?
I believe Southampton are more than the football club, so their sell off of players may be driven by non football factors. Anyway they are not in the bottom three. Crystal Palace may be financially effected by the purchase of the freehold relating to their ground, so that may help explain their position.
Ive been in a constant dialogue with Mr doncaster today - fair dues, he isnt hiding unlike some.He cites the Palace and Soton situation in the same way, omitting of course to mention they are not bottom of the league and have inferior gates.  Without plastering his replies over the web, which wouldnt be fair (or legal), he is laying the blame for this mess squarely at the door of the playing staff. 100%. And assures me the budget for players is significantly higher than that of the ''one horse towns'' i quoted him as being our chief tormentors week in week out.

This situation is completely untenable, and has been allowed to stagnate for 3 years now. Football is a passionate subject, and passions are aroused, particularly when one loves ones football club as the people of Norfolk and beyond do, with an almost irrational fervour. Saturday hurt, as did tuesday as do the dozens of other similar bad days at the office we have endured. Nothing is being done to arrest the decline, the board and a few other supporters appear to prefer infighting to addressing the problems. fiHuman nature dictates  that this will only antagonise already inflamed opinion, and the longer the situation worsens, the more vitriolic things will get. It goes hand in hand with a feeling of helplessness. If you think its bad now, wait until May.
After all the other times have we got the scapegoat right this time CD? Why should I trust the mass hysteria on here? The baying mob have been wrong so many times in the past, how do we know they''ve got it right this time? Is the grass always greener? Out goes Holt in comes Hughes. Out goes Worthy in comes Grant. Out goes Etuhu in comes Russell. Out goes Doherty? Out goes Smith?? What comes in and what makes you believe it''s better? It has nothing to do with scapegoats. That would imply that nothing is wrong. Quite clearly that is nonsense. something is very wrong indded. As wrong as it can be. I never beleived that saccking worthington was the be all and end all, the pontification before it finally happened proved this to be correct. and who appointed the totally hapless Grant?  The blame has to be shared amongst the board (mostly), the managers (partly) and the players (partly). I for one am not prepared to let the people briinging Norwich City football Club to its knees off the hook.
Torquay according to todays commentary have already scored more goals and attained more points than all of last season, they are on the up. Unlike Delilahs sinking ship.
And, as you answered thrice, allow me to. Earnshaw, Etuhu, Safri, Mackenzie, and a few others are players Worthy signed where as this season we have replaced them with Cureton, Russell, Nobody and Brown. Both examples were on Delilahs sinking ship. The grass is always greener? Not in this case!   Just because Grant was crappier than the crap Worthington. doenst make the grass greener, dont try and intimate that if worthington has stayed we would be top six. nobody is stupid enough to beleive that one.
9.
Couldn''t agree more. They are presiding over the death of our club. When we are relegated at the end of this season, the financial hit we take will be so severe, the club will have  a struggle on its hands to ever recover. Are our Board aware of that, do they know what relegation will bring and how it will forever tarnish them and their names amongst the supporters of this club, and how they and their contribution will be viewed in its history? Delia talks about finding "idiots" to take the club off their hands-people then say its not that easy, as, just to pay off the debts & give the Manager some money to bring in some quality AND pay off some of the dross currently on the books and still playing for us, someone, somewhere, will need to come up with £20 Million plus. So, who presided over a club that, despite a season in the Premiership is madly, crazily, stupidly now more in debt than before we went in it! Who were the real IDIOTS that ran the club whilst that noose of a debt steadily got bigger and bigger and bigger? Who are the real idiots? Should we accept the inevitable and file for administration here and now? Yes, we''d lose the points but we''re dead meat anyway. As the club stands, no-one much will ever be interested in plouging money in, but, after admininstration, a new and "clean" Norwich City FC 2008 Ltd might just garner some interest? Mind you, I am perhaps being naive-is it the answer (administration) and are we actually either eligible for it or in a position where-by we could apply for it? Finance experts, what say you?
This is depressing. The fact we are discussing it as an option should be the death knell to the reign of  the cook and her pals. Its clear she is holding out for a fat profit for her shares, after building hotels, offices, pubs etc. they have soared since she bought them off watling - if she was any kind of supporter, she would let them go for cost price.
 10.

Email that to Doncaster and co. that would be uneasy reading for them [:)]
Of course it would. But it wouldn`t hit home because they are in denial as well as about 80% of City fans are.
80% ? I really dont think its 80%. more like 8%.
 11. Actualy turned off the radio at 2-0. But it sounded like most of our away performances for the last 3 seasons rolled into one big mess. The derby was a blip - clearly, ipswich were intimidated by the crowd.. and not really that good. The truth is, these players would actually struggle at a level below the one we are currently at. This scenario could be revisited next season, after a thumping by yeovil sets us adrift in divsion 3. Thanks delia.
 12.

Hocking part of the ground, selling land and selling players if you sell them at their market value does not change the value of the shares.  For example you own shares in a business that only owns land that is worth 1 million. You see the land for 1 million. The business now has 1 million of cash rather than 1 million of land and therefore the shares in the business are worth 1 million the same as before. You can not keep making a loss until you keep investing money like Chelsea to fund that loss otherwise the club goes bust.
You can not keep making a profit at the expense of adequate investment in the team otherwise the team gets relegated.
TWICE.
 13.
Charlie''s dad   You don''t seem to grasp the point, NOBODY  wants to buy a league 1 team and you are a league 1 team in the making for sure! Your future is very bleak indeed!
Norwich city is far more than a league one team. It is the biggest club in a one hundred mile radius in a regional capital, growing and expanding in every way. It is not a die-ing port known only for cigarettes and prostitutes. The mis-management of the current board can be reversed with financial input, and local businesses do not have to be screwed in the process. I grasp the point very well indeed. Dont come on here and preach to me about Norwich City.
 14. Time is of the essence - this board must stump up immediately to reverse the de-investment in the team or go. It really is as simple as that. Roeder at first glance appears a competent, driven mangager, far superior to his predeccesor. He MUST be given the tools to do the job. NOW.
 15. Well, if both of these offers are in fact on the table, and assuming they are both bona fide offers, it stands to reason that somebody is going to be disappointed. Should that party then turn his attention to the less indebted, better supported club 40 miles further north? The club that owns its own ground? I would certainly hope the board are exploring the possibility as a matter of extreme urgency. We cannot continue in the current vein, with chronic lack of investment while lesser clubs soak up money like sponges. Its time for Smith to find her idiot. Can anyone seriously object?
 16. Further to the comments about goading ipswich fans in a box just feet away from a very heated Norwich city crowd. Its odd that it is deemed inciteful for someone to be seen drinking an alcolholic beverage in clear view of the crowd outside - but not inciteful for some fat spare part with a balding head and a daft goatee beard to be waving his arms around and mocking the aformentioned crowd. Would love to bump into that prat in a dark alleyway.
 17. Im with you Ricky. I havent enjoyed the football for a long while now, but that certainly changed on Sunday. The sight of 11 Norwich City players bursting every sinew to beat ipswich restored my faith in the club. We were robbed, by styles and by ill luck, we were by some distance the better team.  Players that i have previously had absolutely no time for played their hearts out - stand up Chadwick and Brellier. In fact stand up everybody. and be counted again. And again. Please dont let this be a blip, we need consistency - and we need it now. Isnt it ironic though - that Ipswich Town can restore my faith and pride in Norwich City - just when it seemed lost forever.
 18.
I saw the 2 ipswich removed from the river end.....I think just in time before limbs were lobbed on the pitch me thinks........lol... also a box full of binners behind us in the wensum......only gonna stir prople up.why do they allow it?
The box full of abusive binners were behind me.. and im ashamed to say i lost my rag and nearly got carted out... i was raving like a lunatic, far more than a man of my age should, and i apologise to you and anyone else near me unreservedly for losing it. I have regained my cool thankfully.
 19. Pity hes too old to play, he was a good player.
 20.
anyone considered he''s come down to do a bit of Scouting work for Newcastle? perhaps just visiting roeder and wishing him all the best before Newcastles next game? jas :)
Sorry Jas... who is he scouting? Murray? Lappin?
 21.
I don''t mean to do the proverbial on your bonfire Jan, but if he was sent to ''mind'' Gazza during his stint in Italy then i''d say he failed completely!
Gascoigne scored a thumping header to win the Rome derby. That will do for starters.
 22. Chant or boo rubbish? What, like ''GET LOST HUCKERBY - GET OUT NOW'' ? ROFL.
 23. I cannot beleive it took 3 whole weeks to come up with this. Jewell will go to Leicester and we are relegated. Yet another clown in charge.
 24. Cheap option yet again. Well done Cook, youve surpassed yourself. Pathetic. 3 weeks to turn up this guy? you may as well have stuck with Grant. Hopefully this will see a swift end brought to Smith and Cos involvment with Norwich City. Absolute, total crap.
