  3. The jungle - inhospitable, unfriendly, full of wild animals, poor light, backward tribes, very little food, no modern communication, etc, etc. Surely Delia leaves a jungle every time she crosses the border from suffolk and enters Norfolk. lol  but if this message board is anything to go by its the other way around
  4. I always thought he was a bit strange!!! who in earth would want to go to lathams
  5. the banner better be fireproof..........   Is that because of regulations or those who would wish to burn it?????
  6. Just saw this on WOTB so maybe McCann has been completely  misquoted Remember that rumour that appeared on the rivals.net site on Saturday? Supposedly, Matt McCann, Wigan''s Director of Communications, had told local radio he was almost certain Jewell was going to take the Norwich job. Anyway, I emailed McCann, and he''s just replied: and what he ACTUALLY said when asked about the Jewell-to-Norwich rumours was he very much doubted it. How this then mutated into what it said on the messageboards, I honestly don''t know. McCann seemed like a really nice bloke actually: his parents moved to Cromer a few years back and became Norwich ST holders, and he was very complimentary about the club: "brilliantly run on the administrative side, with good owners and an excellent support base". Hmm, not sure about the first part of that! He also spoke to Jewell as recently as Saturday morning while PJ was in Dubai, and PJ mentioned nothing about any possible job: to be honest, I''d infer from that that he''ll bide his time, and wait until the right Prem club become available.   Now im depressed [:(]
  7. Wiz  you were telling us it was Duffy last week
  8. at least the edp article tells us he is definatly intereasted in the job!  i didnt think he would be.  fingers crossed

  12. I agree anyone would think they are a big club ! with millions a year to pay a manager wether he succeds or fails. What is common decency anyway? if they are not up to your expentations they should troden on and treated like a piece of shit on your shoe. what is wrong with our board!!!!!       If you dont like it support man u  [:#]
  13. Maybe, they had doubts about Peter Grant during pre-season and decided then not to back him with money for a centre back knowing if they had to replace him then the new manager would need financial backing for players of HIS choice. i was told this by good source          the turners didnt want him to spend their money
  14. were all the participents forced to read the pink un message board before voting

  16. Isnt that two in a row? A west ham mate of mine was raving about greeno last year to me, I gave him yeah but hell never save a penalty thing.   derrrrrrrrrrrr
  17. he''ll need a massive fund to replace the dross we have now, because we couldnt sell anyone for decent money except maybe marshall, could we?   5/6 mill could go a long way in this division with the right manager
  18. Please can people leave off the ''Im a supporter and i will be there through thick and thin'' because it is wearing thin.  I have supported Norwich since 1979 Seen Norwich relegated 4 times from the top flight, been to Wembley, been to Europe, been to 72 gounds up and down the country. And of course because I have stopped going I am not a supporter. CHANGE THE RECORD   Im with you mate and as you only have 150 odd posts   do you still get called a newbie  lol
  19. jas The words head and brick wall come to mind he dont want a manager because he thinks hes to good
  20. i posted this on another thread but probobly fits better here I was told a while back before pg went from a good source (and no i wont name him) that there is money available re. the turners but they did not want to give it to pg, i have also been told from the same source that the our new manager depended on who was going to get the bolton job. This dont mean its jewel but it does fit!
  21. You do realise it is MICHAEL PARKINSON don''t you? It''s a return favour for having Delia on his chat show a few years back.... lol  jobs for the boys
