1. That nice big fancy stadium has just meant administration and no doubt the sales of all of the playing assets, so he can take his opinion and shove it up his . . . . . .
2. Im also very happy about the fact we have a full backroom staff with winning attitudes. This will rub off on the players and the ''feel'' of being a complete club not just having one man moaning about the cracks and then trying to motivate.   Onward and upwards for the Canaries
3. We have conceeded the least goals when the doc is on the pitch!   Believe!
4. I am very worried about no right-back, shackell is left footed so it wont be him.   However i agree not using cave-brown, stoke are a big physical side need the height . . . i dont think they have too much pace either so otsembor maybe not needed and doc can cover.   Heres praying.  . . . . . . . Come on you Yellows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
5. Although i hate to admit it Rafa Benitez is a great manager. I was listening to an interview he gave either yesterday or the day before with the usual questions cropping up on his rotation policy and then on to the topic of how Torres missed a load of chances in a game then scored two in the last game. During ths intervew he said "i was happy to see that Fernando was creating chances for himself . . . . ." - this got me thinking about our current strike force and how when the chips were down and we wernt scoring people were saying that curo (example) would always score if they were given the supply - i was one of these people and really believed it was our mid-field who could not create anything for them and was why we were struggling so much. How much do strikers need to be creating chances for themselves . . pace and power lead to goals with breakaway runs and individual efforts, or can you just rely on the forwards being able to put chances away but not do a lot if they do not have enough service. I believe a good mixture is neccessary but do we have this??? Dublin can put away the goals and so can curo. Brown we know cant. With any of these do they actually have the ability to make something for themselves i a game when were up against it?
6. Cant let anyone go . . . . we need a squad to compete. . . start letting people go and injuries hit, people looking over their sholder for the axe e.t.c This was a silly thread.
7. Maybe we will all look back in a few years and be thankfull for the off the field development
8. Voice of the Thorpe area - why do you think it is unlikely we will keep Taylor, my boss is a massive Brum fan and apparantly he is not rated there and believes he could go for a reasonably cheep price. However what doesnt help us is the fact that they are getting a new manager and i cant imagine he would want to come in and sell a solid center back without viewing him firsat
9. I dont understand why everyone rates Croft, i dont. He has no end product . . . .a couple of runs and i still think chadders links up with Otsembor better. At the Ipswich game he pointed to space for Shackell to pass into which Shackell did and Croft was stationary looking surprised himself he hadnt moved. . . and i swear i saw a half eaten pie coming out of his mouth.
10.
What''s the tag line to this??  '' goes down easily?!''
boom
11. Bad time for protests definatly you will be doing more harm than good. If you do make sure you have pro Roeder and loans in there somewhere or else no1 will want to come.
12. I know this debate has happened as to who in our squad it could be. But i cant see a captain in any of them.   We need a new player to come in with quality, make him captain and back him up not too take any sh*t from the rest of the slakers on the pitch.
13. Russell no. . . he runs around making tackles but couldnt make a goal scoring chance pass if he had 100 goes
14.
Is it just me or do we keep getting the most injuries, we bring in players Smith - Dublin - Taylor - and they get injured, Hucks was, Drury and a few others...thats over half the 1st team out. Formation is important but so is keeping away from injuries...other teams always seem to be able to play close to their best teams against our half 1st team. Dunno whats or who is causing this but i''m gussing theres some bad coaching techniques involved as well.
so do other teams but they have cover
15. i liked this article. scary realism but the defence of Roeder is founded and the fact that he critisises West Ham fans appeals to me especially!
16. I agree thing could turn around but most teams in the championship seem to have a talisman who everyone can get behind and think if hes on the pitch were fine. We did have one in Hucks but these public outbursts and on/off displays coupled with the red card at Ipswich are seeing his influence diminish. Shackell is our captain and he has come out publicaly saying they he and the team are feeling the strain. . . . not reallly the rallying attitude a captain needs. We need a real leader and a bit of quality in the middle of the park and a consistant scorer desperatly.   Please please Norwich City board through this prudence bullsh*t out the window and pay over the odds for two or three quality players. . . . . i know we cant attract them but £££££ attracts these mercinaries. . . .
17. Did anyone hear Mumby on the radio before the Ipsh*t game??? He was talking about the prospects of investment on the back of Ipsh*t getting Marcus Evans. He was saying that at the moments the club is up for sale however only if they have the best for Norwich at heart. He then said "i still believe that a low value team with the right balance can get you up the table" Reasons this piss*d me of: 1 - if you look at teams like Bristol City they are low value non-names but who have been playing together for ages and are always the underdogs we sell players we want to build our team round the second they are worth money so no time to gel before we need points again. 2 - watford last night showed how big money players are a cut above the rest. With the GAP between the prem and championship becoming so large the teams coming down will always have these players and others wont be able to go up. 3 - the way the comment was said meant that the idea of getting to the premiership was just a pipe dream for the foreseeable future and actually floating around each season was fine.   Forever yellow
18. The money is there apparantly. The scary thing is Glen coming out and agreeing that players just dont want to earn their bread and would rather sit in the reserves. We cant attract players. Im trying my hardest to be positive as thats the type i am but im struggling to see who we could get thats better then our players. . . GK position OK Defense OK Midfield Woeful           i really dont rate croft or russell Attack Old and worse that the championship average          but true no service   Will we ever be able to compete with the best of this league again?? 5, 10 years down the line we may have prudenced ourselves into average league 1 only beating the worst teams there.   I am thoroughly depressed. . .  .
19. anyone some quality defenders in 2008. you must get Mika Aaritalo he is about 100k and can be sold for 7.5 million in a few months or kept to be the daddy.
20. The difference i have found this season compared to when we first came down is that when you see a fixture like Norwich at home against a solid team or eg Plymoth away the thought is ooh this could be tough. Where as in previous seasons you would expect a win and maybe settle for a draw.
