1. All depends on the next five games surely. Lets see how these results and performances pan out and then make a call. All the clamouring for other ''names'' and yet we could have our best candidate here already?!
 2. New broom. Different philosophy (-that I suspect the forward players are itching to put into practice) Norwich man in charge demanding full commitment to the cause. Different methods. Shackles off ...full support. Script there to be written by those selected for the opportunity. On the ball City, nevermind the danger .... ! 3-2 Norwich
 3. Interesting that many believe the combination of a resurgent Fulham, the Craven Cottage hoodoo, a defeatist Hootun hangover amongst our players and Adams inexperience at this level will conspire to have us beaten tomorrow. As has been pointed out, some of our best managers have been ''inexperienced'' at this level. Are we undervaluing the circumstances around Norwich''s FA Youth Cup win? (especially given the disparity in resources these days even at youth level ..the richer clubs can buy the top resources there too.)One of the things that always bothered me about CH, that was cherished under PL, was the apparent lack of common sense with how we set up and played a game of dynamics. How we surrendered initiative at key moments in key games. How our defensive solidity coached from the season before seemed to unravel this season with our increasing lack of confidence to score.Maybe many believe/fear that the external pundits commenting on our club are right. Just maybe Neil Adams has more about him than he is generally being given credit for?As Ricardo said, ''The bogey will continue until it stops.'' Norwich inspired by Neil Adams  might just write the script tomorrow.
 4.
For me, what this thread shows is that there is no obvious answer to the line-up on Saturday and we all have very different ideas about what should be done. So it''s vital that, whatever Adams finally decides on, we accept it and go for it and support it. 100%.
I''d like to think that''s a given. Neyul was the only realistic appointment the board could have made after WBA. In one stroke the divisions caused under CH now feel healed, and as others have said, it feels like we''ve got our club back.
 5.                                                               Ruddy                              Martin                                                      Bassong                                                                           Yobo   Gutierrez                                                                                                           Olsson                                                                Tettey                                                                       Redmond                Howson                  Hoolahan                                                                                     Hooper                                         Guaranteed to lose with that one I think, way too much change and too much for Tettey to do ...?
 6. Fulham have to go for it, a pacey counter attacking style from us will suit this game and its our best chance of getting the points to haul us over the line. Although Wes wasn''t having his best game against WBA, he always provided an option against their pressing ...which we missed badly when he was subbed off. Will Fulham press us similarly? As Neyal has intimated, the team has to be made up of players whose heads and hearts are right for this game. Somewhere in our squad is the balanced comitted best team that has so far proved elusive. Its gonna be a very interesting line-up, and game, I fancy. Can''t wait!
 7.
I believe Hucks will be unveiled as assistant manager today, he''s been very quiet on the tweet front today but of course that may just be down to being busy with his current work at Carrow Rd etc. I wonder if his hip could hold up for the last few games of the season... It won''t happen but I don''t think I''d be alone in being happy to see him get a few minutes if the scenario could arise, bet he''s still got it!
Now THAT would be an awesome fairytale!
 8. Chris Martin....and Chris Hughton deserves to lose his job on the purchase and use of The ''Wolf'' alone
 9. We''ve only pulled two back through individual defensive mistakez ..definitely, if there''s a decent alternative, Hughton out!
 10. Boring I know, but as others have said, Hooper''s first touch is first class. I think ...despite the stats, we''ll be doing well to hang o to him close season.
 11.

No excuse for that ...he knew what he was doing. I have always loved Wes but he plummeted in my estimations today. Disgraceful behaviour post goal ...seemingly dishonest performance. You can shine in a game, but then not quite pull off that easy final, crucial ball. Really could hardly believe what I was seeing today, and was praying for Howson to replace him...Wes was not playing for us today.
What? You really are trying to make something here. Wes played well, and pretty much similar to his usual type of performance. I reckon had he not scored he''d have hard received more credit for his performance.
You''re right that I''m pushing it a bit, but only because was stunned at what I saw from him today. Believe me, I have been a big fan of Wes ...but not blind to what I saw at crucial times today. We all see it differently, and know what I saw today.
 12. Always thought with us, Lambert''s apparent recruitment of other teams captains was inspired ..but kinda obvious. When the going gets tough, and all that.
 13.

Don''t think it was a foul on Bassong, Benteke just wanted to win the ball more than Bassong. we looked like we didn''t think we could get back in the game.
So much so that he had both arms on Bassongs shoulders.
It was all about desire & determination, nothing to do with "arms on shoulders".
Read the rule book.
No need to read the rule book because centre forwards have been scoring goals like that since the game began. Try telling Davies, Sutton, MacDougal, Curran, Roberts. Alcock, Holt, Dublin etc that that wasn''t a legitimate goal and I don''t think you would get any of them agreeing with you.
Launching yourself with your arm over the defenders shoulder (preventing him from jumping) on the blind side of the ref is a foul. Plainly. If he spots the gamesmanship.
 14.
nah trust me its not your age, im about 28 years behind you and im starting to feel similarits like we are just letting him take us down, slow motion car crash stuff and no one doing anything about it
Well put!
 15. No excuse for that ...he knew what he was doing. I have always loved Wes but he plummeted in my estimations today. Disgraceful behaviour post goal ...seemingly dishonest performance. 16. Yes he played like Pilks used to, when Norwich were up against a ''name'' team. Did link play very well ...such a shame he didn''t exhibit the same quality for his final ball (other than the goal efforts) ....today was the first time I''ve seen a player who''s head has been turned and shouldn''t be on the pitch. Was quite shocked by it actually.
 17.

Nice one, I actually said "pathetic" at the time even though he had just scored, and it was pathetic. Despite scoring and almost scoring a second, I actually thought he was a weak link in our midfield, sure he does a few nice touches and turns etc....he was clearly trying to look good ....but, he is actually a luxury for a team like us.......and hopefully he will be very happy at Villa......
Exactly how I saw it.
Me too. Forum the first time thought I was seeing a player who shouldn''t be on the pitch ...funny how some fairly easy, simple final balls failed to come off for Wes today. Utterly disgraceful from him today. Wouldn''t play him again and he can rot in the reserves.
 18. I''m a big fan of Wes. Forgave him the training ground comment because of the way he''s been treated ...but THAT was bang out of order.
 19. It does come across as a cosy club, insulated from the modern world ...perfectly fine of course, if we weren''t obliged to pay for it. The punditry needs to ''step up'' to earn it''s (our) corn. But, yes, more footage of games, edited to reflect the overall match would be welcome. Just as an aside, the BBC highlights currently remain light years ahead of anything by ITV.
 20.

Mills clearly didn''t watch the whole game, RVW came off to a standing ovation as a result of his work rate and persistence. Something Mills accused him of lacking, that''s the real issue. H
Personally I thought that our attack never really properly got going until Hooper came on and started holding the ball up, linking play and making meaningful runs to cause the Spurs defence problems. RVW''s performance though showing "persistance" was slightly less effective than some of the performances I saw from Aaron Wilbraham in his time here (who depressingly had a better strike rate).
The standing ovation was bizarre. Like an audience applauding an orchestra for playing permanently out of tune. And Mills'' main point was that he doesn''t think van Wolfswinkel has proved to be any good, and that is just stating the unarguable obvious.
Unarguable obvious? Not really... He hasn''t been any good in front of goal, but the rest of his game has been fine.
His performances in itself have been fine. I think the issue is that what we needed was a target man in the Drogba mold (Wilfried Bony of Swansea a good example of a summer signing in this role) with good physical strength who can bring the ball down, hold off defenders and bring others into play to make the 4-5-1 work well. Unfortunately Mr. Hughton has done the metaphorical equivalent of going out to buy a toaster and coming back with a kettle. You can plug the kettle in and it will work to the manufacturers standards but at no point is it ever going to produce the toast that you actually wanted in the first place.Which is a great shame as the strikers and right back roles aside he''s actually bought very well and put together 9/11ths of a good premier league team. Hopefully that will be rectified in the Summer and the Wolf can move on to a team that actually needed him.
Yes indeed! !! Did ask at the time, "why the standing ovation?" ...and a Barclay neighbour dryly replied, "because he going off -and Hooper''s coming on"
 21.

I wouldn''t get too hung up on the two holding midfielders. Both Tettey and Johnson managed to get forward yesterday. I think it''s more about having enough bodies in midfield and attacking (and defending) as a unit, which we did very well.
It is the kind of football we have seen in glimpses all through Hughton''s tenure. During the unbeaten run and late on in the first season and sometimes this season. When it hasn''t worked - for whatever reason - we look poor and struggle - but the consistency of the kind of performances we have seen recently is what we must surely be after - and that comes with time, effort, belief and confidence - and a full squad to choose from. There has been a lot said about the poor stuff we have played - rightly so, we all want to see us playing well - but the underlying truths are that Hughton does inspire people to play for him, he has a good eye for a player and several have come here because of him - and as time goes on we will see more of this type of performance. Its taken a long time, but it does seem as if he has started to get the best out of what he has. The good thing is that there is room for improvement and we can take confidence from that.
Agree with that LDC ...although I was getting so frustrated at how hapless we consistently appeared that have been an OUT''er for some time. I think everyone wants CH to do well ...and a performance like that at this time is just what everyone green&yellow needed. To echo what others have said; the difference Tettey & Yobo make is significant, but how much of that performance was down to a first choice Norwich side ''clicking'' ..and how much was down to Spurs not turning up? Despite the rugby score that we might have run up with more fortune, the ball frequently did seem to fall our way for once. More of the same -happy days!
 22. Can''t stand him -but rate him as a manager. Always have.
 23. On the face of it, the treatment of Becchio has been disgusting. We recruit a forward in form from a lower division, having supposedly done our homework on him, and then NEVER play him. Even playing our record signing before him, when our current approach play is far more suited to LB than RvW....I believe Michael Bailey said something about it being criminal that we recruited RvW without changing our forward play. It is. Most have seen this for months. We''re still here ...with many less games left for survival. It really hasn''t been 20/20 hindsight has it !?!!
