1.
I agree if we lose Hughton has to go. We can''t afford to lose to teams like Southampton
Hopefull that was sarcasm as well!!!
 2. Rats, I''ve only just mastered that one about Kenny Foggo being on the wing and now you want me to think of new stuff!!!
 3.

It wasn''t lucky, you don''t have a clue. We are unbeaten in 6 with two up top for about 15 mins of those 6 games. We SHOULD have scored earlier, we weren''t lucky.
so a bundled over the line goal in the 89th minute is not lucky? ? ? i didnt say it wasnt deserved city were cr@p though for the majority of the game until hughton eventually made attacking changes, if that had been done much earlier or even from the start it might have been 3 points
Were you there???
 4.
Please stop repeating these offensive tweets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry LDC but I think someone ought to do something about it.  I don''t Tweet so I don''t know how to???
 5.

1967 v Sheff Weds   don''t know if this was too early for you Swindon   does capture how it was though   http://www.eafa.org.uk/catalogue/923   enjoy
My first game and also City''s first game on MOTD.
I was there as well.  So packed in the Barclay that I climbed over the railings and sat right behind the goal - remember seeing myself on MOTD!  Are you sure this was our first appearance on MOTD as I remember seeing the away tie at Man United on the TV which was the previous round or was that shown on Anglia on the Sunday afternoon???
Think it was the first m''Lord. But you''re right we''d previously been on Anglia''s Match Of The Week.   Loved the second half of the 60s even though we had little success. There was no expectations. The first division was only a dream and yet we lived for the next home game even if it was the stiffs!
Because our expectations were not great I remember all Cup games (FA and League) being highly anticipated.  My first FA Cup game was Blackburn Rovers in ''66 and I remember queueing for ages for tickets (for the Barclay, obviously!)
 6.

I''ve got one question for you Skijumptoes. Why do you have a Spice Girls quote in your sig?
Is it not obvious? A type of ''spice'' is Chlli, girls is the collective term for ''Girl'', A Chili Girl could indicate a ''hot girl'', a Hot girl is Susan Boyle, Susan Boyle is scottish, a rainbow requires the sun, the sun is widely associated with Mediterranean countries, if you put the Mediterranean into Scotland, What''s the result? Simon Lappin of course!   Which leaves the storm, who do you call if you have a storm? That''s right! Bailey Storm Preservation, experts in treating damp and rot, As the world knows Bailey Storm primarily serve Glamorgan and South Wales... South wales is home to Cardiff, which in turn is home to Cardiff City FC. The rainbow in the storm therefore was my tip to you all that not only did i know Lappin was on his way, i knew which club he would be joining too! I guess you look pretty silly asking the question now, as obviously the rest of the forum seemed to grasp the concept quite quickly without the need to ask! ;) ......i suppose you thought that it was in relation to the Lambert - Hughton transition, and how during all the uncertainty there may be a rainbow appearing very soon!  *wink*
That''s got to be one of the best explanations ever since Hari Seldon developed the science of psycho-history....respect!
 7. Disappointed that Agent Mick is so inconsistent at present - let''s hope that he can sort his act out and confirm their relegation by Christmas!
 8. BTW shouldn''t this be on a different thread as this was the 60s and not the 70s/80s/90s....   [:D]

 10.
The middle pen of the old barclay ,now the memories come flooding back. :-)
Better still....the Barclay before there was any segregation....now that could get a bit tasty!
 11. I''ve taken my daughter in the Lower Barclay since she was 5 years old and she wouldn''t sit anywhere else - the kids love the atmosphere!
 12. There was some Manc k**b trying to provoke some young lads after the game out near Harvey Lane......everyone just ignored him for the tool that he was. [:)]
 13.

Following on from a discussion on this topic we had last season if Zlatan Ibrahimovic had have scored his fourth goal last night at Carrow Road would you have stood and applauded him. No right or wrong answers I''m just curious. I definitely would have.
He wouldn''t have scored that goal at Carrow Road, Ruddy wouldn''t have been caught out of his area like Hart was.
What Harry said. [Y]
 14.
I think it''s great to see fans who don''t make it to games very often really making a special effort to get to games like Man Utd. Have a great day Martin and I hope you find plenty of great pubs around Carrow Road stadium! Yellow Army!
Major fail Arsekin!
 15. Martin - on your way back to the hotel suggest you take in the Ribs of Beef on Wensum Street, after that go over the river turn left into Colegate and the Golden Star is at the far end opposite your hotel.
 16.
hahah thanks - i should have said we are coming up for Norwich Wigan 15th December- is becoming a yearly thing- up from Tunbridge Wells for a winter game where I can easily get 7 or 8 tickets.. saw Bolton back in Feb :) Im gonna google earth all them pubs! thanks for the tips... can picture a nice pub crawl ending up in the whisky place and regretting it in the morning!!
"What you can''t remember, you can''t regret!" (Quote - one of mine)
 17.
Listening to Football Weekly last week they seemed to think that a large proportion of AFC Wimbledon fans wouldn''t go because they refuse to even acknowledge the existence of MK Dons.
Yes, you are quite right - from discussions with AFC fans I know that the one tie they actually dread would be this one as they want as little as possible to do with the MK lot.  And isn''t it about time that MK dropped the ''Dons'' element of their name as they do not and never have had any connection with Wimbledon???
 18.
I''m prediciting far too many Plastic Manc fans in the home areas on Saturday. I know of two ''supermembers'', only one of which is a City fan, that have bought their allocation of four tickets for themselves and their Manc supporting family. So out of those four seats, three are taken by ManUre fans. That, my fellow City fans, gets my Goat. [:@]
Well if they are in designated home areas they are at risk of being removed.  Hope they enjoy their 15 seconds of fame!
 19. In the late 80s/early 90s I produced a mini pub guide for visiting fans in conjunction with the ''Never Mind the Danger'' Fanzine.  Glad to say that some of those pubs are still thriving today! [B][B][B]
 20. I''m obviously stuck in a time warp!!!! [:D]  BTW agree with your assesssment of the pubs in St Benedicts.
 21. Golden Star and St Andrews Tavern (both decent real ale pubs) within 100m of your hotel.  Also nearby ''Delaneys'' (more of a sports bar) and the bar at The Playhouse Theatre is good (more of a student hangout).  The more salubrious areas of Norwich are within 10 mins walk of your hotel (e.g. Prince of Wales Road etc etc)
 22.
Hi all. Ive been a few times but always struggle to find decent pubs for after the match... can anyone suggest where the busy areas of Norwich are? was planning to stay with a group of friends at Holiday Inn Duke Street. Is this central?! :-P
Very central and within walking distance to a whole spectrum of pubs - whether you like real ale pubs or something else.  Enjoy your stay!
 23.
Well we were there against Scunthorpe let alone Doncaster and Spurs, but why open that debate again, people go to the games they want and can attend for whatever reason
Discussion closed [Y]
 24.
Taraabt for Arsenal? Am I the only one that thinks he''s a little over rated?
Just goes to show that Arsenal are making some poor decisions if they do go for him!!!!!
