1. No protests or wothy out demos. Lets just see how many posters on here are very disapointed that we couldn''t add to our 1 signing. If you are just post ME. ME
2. Get one with big tits on it. Oh did you say Hughes was on yours my apologies you already have one.
3. The original post on here was heart felt and honest and I for one applaud you sir. I too am sick of these sycophants who never question the club to any great depth. The only one''s who are worse are the bunch who have made complete u-turns of opinion lead by 1st Wiz. Spineless is what I call them spineless and fickle. We are a great team or at least we were a great team. You and I and all who support Norwich were he before Worthington, Doncaster and even Delia and her chap. A god willing we will be here long after many of the have gone I hope. Don''t turn you back on our team they are in your heart just as much as they are in the hearts of the KTFer''s maybe even more so. If you are like me you can remember the good old days when we were a match for anybody on our day, playing with passion and skill. I''d like to see that passion return but it has to come from the top and I don''t think that Worthington has it. I for one think your are right and you have the right. OTBC.
4. We’re all sitting here praying at that prats probably in the land of nod.
5. Javis and Henderson won''t make it mate they aren''t babys any more they should be in the team now but they haven''t developed in to quality players. Javis is way out of his depth and Henderson is to lightweight. McVeigh is a good little play but not a 20 goal a season man. Nor a partner for Earnshaw.
6. don''t matter if he''s out of contract i think you can sign them any time you like.
7. I have my doubts about loan players. Yes Huck and Crouch were a success but since the we have had a load of free loading duffers. Who is going to come that will have the quality of players like Eastwood or McLeod. I doubt anybody. These are up and coming stars all we will get now has beens or never made its.
8. your more to follow is a few pictures and some more crap about Mckenzie wanting to leave. Happy Bloody days hey!
9.
Don''t panic yet, there''s over two hours to go . . . . Izale McLeod anyone (and possibly David Cotterill)?
He''s gone to Wigan
10. According to the Norwich PTV web site that’s it we''ve blown it. We haven''t managed to sign anybody. Another player gone and nothing in. All we need now is Earnshaw to get an injury in the Wales game and we really are buggered. Worthington''s put all his eggs in one basket. Hope none of them eggs get broken.
11. Sky Sports News. He''s gone for £1M We must have something up our sleeves or we will have only 1 out and out striker at the club. (capable of competing at this level)
12. Robinson still is pants. Colin is ok and Etuhu was lazy but always the player out of our midfield 3 we acquired destined to do the best if he got fit and going. He still has to do it week in week out before he gets my undying devotion. As for Huks and Earnie anybody that slagged them of must have seen different things to me. I say again Hughes is pants. It''s my opinion that''s all. Mind you doubt we''ve had all that many enquires about him over the last couple of weeks but you never know there is still a few hours to go and Man Utd haven''t signed anybody yet.
13. Mckenzie is a good lad and all that but he is fit to clean flecky''s boots. In his prime fleck was 8000% better the Leon.
14. What is all this crap about not basing an opinion on last season. He was diabolical for the entire season. What else do people base thing on other than what they see. It''s not like he didn''t play many games. The guy isn''t a championship quality player as simple as that. We don''t hate the guy and booing players is despicable but he simply can''t compete at this level so why should he be paid by us to do/not do so. I can''t play football that championship level either but I''d like the cash and the life style. His ability mean he like me doesn''t deserve it. For good sake what is wrong with fans on here always saying everybody’s so wonderful all the time. The guys pants.
15. I hope your not comparing Flecky to McKenzie.
16. I can''t believe even we would let him go without having another striker lined up. Without him back up for Ernie just doesn''t exist at our club. I don''t think any of us consider Thorne or Jarvis to be good enough to play up front for a team supposedly going for promotion. They are good enough for any team in this league.
17. As a supporter who goes week in week out I personally think he is up there with the worst players ever to pull on the yellow shirt. As for his wage slip he will be on more a week than 80% of the fans are on a month thats a FACT.
18. The guy get paid thousands of pounds a week. He''s rubbish. Give him away
19. I sit here now heavy hearted after the announcement that we are unlikely to add to our squad before the window closes. The chances of our gaining promotion has in my view taken a down turn. The bench is already weak imagine if 2 or 3 of them having to start, what then. The team is as it stands up there with any that are currently playing in the championship but we rely on the eleven we have played since the start of the season. What we have after that is not good enough. Thorne and Jarvis are fodder not up to this league. Mckenzie will battle and run but won''t get you regular goals. Mcveigh is of a quality that can do a job but is not consistent be it due to fitness form or the fact that the manager just doesn''t like him is up for debate but you know that he is only an answer to part of our problem. Hughes, I won''t even give you an excuse about that guy and then want else. Answer nothing. We needed a striker just 1 striker and we had a chance. A midfielder would have helped and another defender would be a nice little luxury. But and I know you shouldn''t start a sentence with but, but to sign nobody is a sin. We are so close but with just 2 injuries we could be so far away.
20. Why ask a question like that now. I think your jumping the gun. If we can stay injury free we stand a chance of promotion but I don''t think we will stay injury free or buy the back players we so badly need. Anyway in answer to your hypothetical question I''d say not a chance in hell. I would expect the club to spend and deal big time if we get up in an attempt to stay there. Doc, Robinson, Colin, Etuhu and even Safri would be out of their depth and either too slow or too lightweight. As for the new guy he is not in my view very pacey he''s quickish but not really what you''d call fast he would struggle. Huckerby is a big favourite of mine but he was only partly successful in the prem last time however he can hold his own. Shackhell? we will have to see promising player but who knows it would be tough for him to play week in week out at that level so soon. Drury will run his socks off for you but in a league where there are full back storming up the wing putting in top quality crosses he will be lacking also he will get run ragged at times. The keeper, I like the guy but he''s not top draw and he''s very small. That leave Earnshaw who I believe can do a good job in top flight. He had a good goal scoring record at WBA the problem was 1 Robson is a to$$er and 2 I think he was lazy. I was worried when he first came to CR that he was a flash harry always looking to shoot and expecting to have it put on a plate. I do however think he has improved greatly in his work rate and team play since he arrived and I am convinced he could be a good goal scorer for us in the top flight. Hope that hasn''t put you on too much of a downer but you did ask.
21. The game against Southampton when Robert Rosario got his goal of the season was a good one. As was the game against Liverpool when Flecky did Glenn Hysen all ends up. Awesome. So many ah the good old days
22.
The Holy Trinity, thats why!. Scoff as much as you like fellow posters, but no team in the Chumpionship can boast Hucks, Earnshaw and Croft in their forward line. The pace in our team is bloody scary at times. I agree we haven''t made many new signings yet, but what we have added has been class ie. Hunter and Croft. Birmingham , despite spending millions, still look pretty average, Crystal Palace look ropey without Mr A. Johnson. The only threat I can see is WBA, and even then, Earnie has something to prove there doesn''t he?. Yes, I know , its early days, but I ain''t seen nothing better than City yet, albeit the live games on Sky TV. We can and will do a Reading this season, you mark my words. City are now playing like the City of old. And if they continue in that style, they will be far too hot for this league. Nigel Worthington must take full credit for this transformation, yes, Hunter has helped, but the manager calls the shots does he not?. I will agree its early days, but if the board would just match Nigel''s ambitions, we could add Eastwood to the brew. Now that would be fun.
Your views are always extreme and never measured. I can''t believe you think we are untouchable and nobody has the same quality. We have one new player and you yourself say that you don''t think hunter should take much credit yet were a cert for promotion you say. What I don''t understand is what credibility anybody can give you. Your view are not founded they are just whimsical. If Norwich can change so can you. What will you do if we don’t go up change again. Hope the team has more backbone than you otherwise we don’t stand a chance.
