1.

I just can''t see why they agreed to this phone-in. Timing is not good and as I feared those who phoned in sounded like the sycophants from AGM audiences. The whole thing made me cringe
So why didn''t you phone in then?Makes me laugh that people are so full of pi$$ and vinegar, but when it comes to actually tackling things head on, they melt into the background.
Phoning in doesn''t mean you''ll get on the air.Normally works if you ring in from an away ground after a match but something like this would have jammed the switchboard.
 2.
Can''t get RN where I am so trying to get as much from here, twitter and WOTB. Getting pissed off though with that bitter old twat turning it into the Wiz show.
Too late for today but all Radio Norfolk''s output, except match coverage, is live online. If you want to hear the recording later it''s available on '' listen again '' for seven days following broadcast.
 3.
Alex - "I wonder why he suddenly thinks he''s a Premier League worthy manager after half a season there." Probably because he''s attracting interesting from Premier League teams.
Well he''d be pretty stupid coming to a Championship club if a Premier League side have an offer on the table.
 4.

Thats actually pretty uncomfortable viewing, as I''m fairly sure he''s a bit special.
by watching his videos I would say he has a minor case of Aspergers, but he could just as easily be mentally fine. it''s hard to know just by his videos..either way, why do the ipswich fans who have been popping up here recently not comment on this fella?
Have a butchers on TWTD where they think he''s as barmy as we do.
 5.
Apparently a reliable souce says Rob Butler. I wonder if they actually do have someone sorted?
Doubt it somehow.........unless working for Radio Norfolk means you''re in the frame [:D]
 6. One glimmer of light in the dark tunnel of relegation......To beef up the regular headcases on here we''ve now got the crazy back on the case. Hopefully he''ll be backed up by the sorely missed '' w8wba '' together with that fruitcake Leeds fan who maintained we were only playing for second place in League One then looked a right t*at when we stormed away with it.Even other Leeds fans thought he was a bit special [:D]
 7.
I spent a year in Bournemouth one day in the 70''s
Does a day there seem that long ?  [:D]
 8.
Look again my pedigree chum. I often read but rarely post now.
I''d say that makes you the dog''s b*llocks.....[;)]
 9.
Anyone who allegedly got done for fly-tipping in the countryside when he was at Norwich and was thick enough to get caught because he left his name and address in the rubbish is just the sort of intelligent managerial appointment we need.
To be fair he''s such a relentless self-publicist that he probably deliberately left his details in there ''cos he wanted to see his name in the papers.....[:D]
 10. Well I haven''t a clue how links work but when I tried to quote Canary101''s second post the answer''s now appeared.Digitalia, eh ......
 11.

Is that a link to the Pravda website ? [:D]
 12. Shame about yesterday''s dodgy weather which stopped them getting Biggles and his Sopwith Camel up over Carrow Road towing the banner.....[;)]Fair play to them though in donating the cash to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.I think we''d all agree that''s a better way to spend the dosh.
 13.
Morty - "how many people criticised our signings at the time" is again missing the point of my previous post. Like I said, the type of signing we made and the prices paid/ambition shown were good. But fans aren''t professional scouts. We don''t go and watch potential signings in live matches and training sessions. We don''t speak to other "inside sources" within the game who may have played with them or coached them and find out what sort of personality or drive they have. We see a player''s stats and that''s about it. The scouts'' job is surely to see whether those stats can convert into on field performances for a certain club who play in a certain way, with a certain type of player required, in a certain division. Otherwise anyone can watch a few youtube clips and highlight programmes and decide how good the player''s technical ability is. Also, I think a lot of fans saw the signings we made and thought we would play differently, in order to suit the styles of those players. We didn''t, we pretty much stuck to Houghton''s usual tactics and he didn''t seem to know how to get the best out of any of the new signings. So essentially, we signed a lot of players who looked good on paper without any real plan or direction as regards where and how those players fitted in to the style of football we were going to play. That is a disastrous transfer policy. Surely we needed to know how the manager wanted to play and go out and find players who would do us a job. We didn''t do that.
Good points here.Everyone was horribly disappointed by the RVW purchase, but, even making allowances for the manager''s preferred style of play, it can''t just be co-incidence that ALL our strikers went backwards this season. To be fair Hughton couldn''t have foreseen just how poor RVW would be, but he must take the main blame for this season''s fiasco as all the failures were his purchases. There was no '' joined -up '' planning in recognizing the type of player required and we therefore ended up with square pegs in round holes.
 14.
Ruddy is totally key to us next season and with him between the sticks I have not doubt we will come straight back up. He is by far the best keeper Norwich have had and hopefully he will do a Hucks and have a fantastic career with us.
He''s very good but opinion depends on how old you are.For us oldies Kevin Keelan would shade it methinks.
 15.
Btw, this thread was an attempt to celebrate something good - a player making a comeback after a whole season out through injury.   But whatever floats your boat...........
How''s that work then ? [:D]
 16. The final whistle at Carrow Road yesterday. The season has pretty much been an unmitigated disaster and it was nice to put out of our misery at last. If NCFC had been an animal it would have been taken to '' live at the vets '' months ago.
 17.
Well you got a couple of bites Harold.
U have to wonder why [:$]
 18.
Another one who jumped ship to the Villa !!! He was manager when I started supporting Norwich
To be fair he did make a short detour to Man City on the way...
 19. In his weekly football forecast that mine of information that is Mark Lawrenson has pointed out Norwich City have scored only 28 League goals this season - as if we didn''t know - and you have to drop all the way to Level 9 of the football pyramid to find a club that''s scored less. That honour goes to that colossus of the non-League scene Lincoln Moorlands Railway who ply their trade in the Northern Counties East Prem Div.Managing a measly 27 goals over a 44 game season they ended up with just two wins and two draws and a staggering goal difference of -187.Just as well we''ve got the one game left to blow Lawrenson out of the water then....[:D]
 20. Ground alterations so he can get his head through the doors would cost too much.....
 21.
We turned a tidy little profit there.
Helps cover the hit we''ll be taking on RVW.All swings and roundabouts.....
 22.
Malky for me - can''t remember the last time the banners last beat a team he was involved with. He also has done it before so will know what is needed to get us back up.
Who cares what happens with the banners.........I''m more interested in us getting back up, nothing else.
 23. Who gives a **** what Ashton thinks. Left Norwich under a cloud and now because he lives here he gets wheeled out by the local media as some sort of expert regarding NCFC. Are they that desperate ?
