3. I''ve said elsewhere, I don''t agree with the loans nor am I happy that as a club we have to resort to this due to our financial straits, but I do believe we have some good players signed and on loan, we have had no luck, we have been unfortunate with injuries, some potentially good players never seem to learn, Wes doesn''t seem to know what he''s doing and Lupoli still doesn''t seem fit, and I do think with a fit squad and even a lucky win we will not be in any danger of relegation. I would like D&MWJ to go to be replaced by someone richer, but they deserve to go with dignity and Roeder as a manager and his team cannot be compared to the hapless peter Grant who was honest and enthusiastic but horribly out of his deprh.
 4. I live 150 miles away and for various reasons I couldn''t make it yesterday which ultimately proved to be a good thing as the drive back would have been sh*t. However, it seems to me that although all the back four combinations we have had to play have been relatively successful, Kennedy/Stef at the back was assured and Stef''s completely comfortable way of passing out of defence meant that Marshall didn''t resort to the long ball, whereas yesterday the back four sounded like they didn''t want it ever. The lack of these two for all games, Clingan''s injury, Croft''s inability to cross well regularly, Semi and Owuzis equal failure to go forward, Wes being unsure where and how to play, Bell being injured, Lupoli being unfit and not sharp enough to score, Cureton being too old slow and/or offside and now Sibierski not improving since his Plymouth display and Patti getting injured when playing well have meant that our displays have been disjointed and almost all of them nearly good, but with few actual points gained. I''m not blinkered, I''m unhappy with the lack of investment and I hate that everyone''s on loan, but leaving all that aside, I believe that with less injuries, some improved confidence from certain players, a settled side and a new captain, even with the squad we have we can progress in the next few weeks.
 5. I understand that Smudger and his supporters have held 2 protests recently, one in his cupboard under the stairs requiring some movement of the hoover and complete removal of the ironing board such was the clamour, and one in a Street Ka with the roof up in a drive by protest past Carrow Road. Both were well attended but due to the peaceful nature of the protesters no riot police or armed forces were called, although there is still investigations going on regarding two incidents, who stood on the hoover plug and broke it and who spilt the can of Tizer in the passenger footwell?

Great signing but if it was someone like Steve Howard you''d all be saying Oh my god anufa loon, how many loons can we play Rowda?
id take Howard like a shot! he can score goals!   as for Lita.. i''ll have this chat again in 4 weeks... and will eat my words willingly if wrong! jas :)   Jas what is your fascination with Howard?, he is absolutely sh1te!   How many goals did he get last season and how many goals has he scored this season if he is such a great goalscorer???   Ask any Leicetser fan what they think of him and guarentee negatives a plenty......

164 goals in just under 500 career games... hardly shocking record is it? http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=3653 jas :)
Why don''t you f**k off with your Steve Howard and other unrelated and loanee moanee sh*t. It''s a great signing, nobody has said it can''t be more than a month, Jamie lad is a sack of, OJ cannot score currently, Sib and Lupe can only hit woodwork. Well done Roeder.
because you''d have nothing to whinge about if i did. jas :)
Not wishing to be pedantic but I wasn''t whinging merely expressing a level of frustration about others whinging and their inability to stay on thread.

 8. Munby opens the door to a foreign investor. How did they know where he lived and that he would be in? Hasn''t he got a butler to open the door like Poirot? Were they swarthy? It''s typical of this board that they don''t give us fans the answers to the really big questions.
 9.
Win hopefully, then we can forget about money for a few days. Sorry even started to bore myself a bit there.
I think what you wrote re: the Accounts is legitimate stuff but in truth if we win a few everybody will stop worrying about it apart from the usuals, and Smudger and his like won''t post at all. 1st Wizard will still find something to be very angry about in a dramatic way however.
 10. Has Wizened ever started a thread without adding the angry emoticon?
 11.
Will do. Glad to be of service. Or as he would say it: "Glad to be of [dramatic pause].......service" (raise eyebrow in ironic fashion) It''s almost as though he has Harold Pinter write his scripts for him....
More like Harold Steptoe.
 12.

It''s 7:15am and I am sitting at the far end of the breakfast table from 3 City directors in our Essex hotel. There are a couple of stumbling blocks to the deal going ahead. A couple of the directors want to keep the catering business for themselves. I can''t see this being a showstopper. I guess they''ll end up with some revenue sharing deal. The other issue is that the buyers want to change the yellow and green colors to all green. The vendors are adamant that this cannot be negotiated. My guess is the buyers will relent, but some of these rich guys can be wierd about such picky details. I''ll update you on progress. Why the far east interest in NCFC, you may ask? Well petrodollars have been doing pretty well recently but the kingdom''s oil reserves are dwindling and the Royal Family need to diversify into new areas. Norfolk has been identified as a relatively poor region of southern UK, but with lot''s of potential. The CAB have a big picture plan that involves building a barrier across the Wash to create UK''s largest inland waterway. In fact the Dutch engineering company that did the same thing in the Zuider Zee are currently working on a Proof of Concept. The idea is to reclaim vast tracts of land for farming, light industrial use and of course housing. The central theme is to build a completely new island city in the middle of the lake, just as has been done in the Persian Gulf. With its own airport a la Hong Kong and fast rail links into London this new city will meet the demands for new housing and office space for the next hundred years, we estimate. Buying NCFC is a neccessary starting point, because as the Abu Dhabi guys are showing, we need to have a strong brand concept to attract investors and that is what NCFC will provide. So dreary old west norfolk is set to become the boom area of western europe. Invest now guys if you know what''s good for you. I know I have. Ok gotta go, have a presentation to make.
Come on you''ll miss the school bus if you''re not careful.
Being born with the Norfolk cynic gene I recognise this as having the aroma of equine excrement, but you do have to be impressed by the work that has gone in to try and make this authentic, I''m really enjoying reading his stuff, it''s sort of Good News Gordon goes international and there''s some really nice touches, ''Proof of Concept'' for the Wash barrier for instance is great if it''s just been made up. I look forward to the next ''Chrome'' mail after they have applauded his presentation.
 13.

His name is Matty, he comes from Jo''burg His quite gifted with his left but with his right foot is bereft. To the tune of Copacabana
Sorry should have been, He''s quite gifted with his left. I think it will be a real terrace favourite.
2nd verse He drove to training without his britches, Now to get there every day he takes a taxi or he hitches.

 16.
Don''t forget Shacks Mr Carrow [8-|] It''s the same as it ever was! But not quite - because the likes of Norwich City aren''t the big clubs hunting ground anymore. The top clubs don''t buy these players any more.  If Bruce, Watson, Phelan, Fleck or Townsend were here now the best they could hope for would be a yoyo club. The bar has been raised.
While there is an element of truth in what you say, Ashton went to West Ham and then there''s Ben Foster, Gareth Bale and Huddlestone at Spurs, Ramsey and Walcott at Arsenal off the top of my head and I''m sure people can name more. If they are good enough they will get bought.
 17.
I Bum Antelopes
Hey, so do I, perhaps we should meet up. You bringing the ropes and gun and I''ll bring the baby oil and and a crate to stand on.
 18.
norwich v derby county 1972 i think  i`m sure norwich won 2-1 my mum took me shes from derby  and was supporting the rams i was only about 6 and didn`t know what the  heck was going on
You may be right, but I remember it being 1-0 to City, Paddon scoring, I think that was our first win in the First Division ever. I got there about 12 o''clock with my sisters and had to wait for the gates to open for about an hour. My first game was home to Swindon in 67 or 68, Don Rogers played for them and we won 1-0, standing in a half empty River End to the left behind the goal. Next game I went to was Boxing Day of that year when we beat Leicester 3-0 I think, David Nish was playing and I had actually heard of him before which I was excited about at the time!
 19. I said his head looked too big for his body and he was a tit, but that''s just facts. Pete, why was it cancelled?
 20.

Just been checking and I''ve had my post about Waghorn removed, I assume due to my Archant reference, but it''s still quite amusing that this one has gone when everyone else seems to think he''s a tit too! What a rebel I am.
I had mine removed too
Perhaps it because we live in nice places that aren''t in Norfolk, parochial bastards.
 21. I heard that McVeigh had to go because he was on 22 matchday pies a week.
 22. I''m OK with Ed Balls, I think he''s reasonably straight and of the next generation of good guys. His name does make me think of Arse Elbow type criticisms.

 24. Caught the end of Ed Balls on Simon Mayo on Five Live saying about him and Charles Clarke singing On the Ball City together and it being the oldest football song around. Did anyway hear all the interview and if so did he say anything about the Delia/ PC situation?
