1. If the DoF sets the direction, does that mean that he also decides which players we buy? If that is the case and the purchases have not been chosen by Farke, shouldn''t we be more concerned that the DoF is not the man for the job? The players who have shone so far this season are Maddison, Oliveira and Murphy, all of whom were here before the new direction arrived.
2.
Seems strange someone is being replaced so soon, guess we can only assume they don''t feel he is up to the role.
It''s a case of Mr Webber wanting his own men in I suspect.
3. 100% yes. We will not get another point this season. Today was the worst it has been this season and probably more poisonous than at any time since we lost 7-1 at home to Colchester. No spunk, passion, determination, desire or even giving a care. I wish I didn''t care so much, week-ends are precious and the game today has thoroughly ruined mine.
4. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2533943/Malky-Mackay-former-club-Norwich-City.html I will always have fond memories of Malky playing for us but I''m not certain that he will play any more positively than our current manager. If there is any truth in the article, at least it shows that the board are prepared to make a tough decision.
5. How about the following:- I got this feeling on the summer day when you arrived, We''d signed a gem and Everton had gone on a slide, You switched from red and white to yellow and green, And when you score you bring us to our knees. Not sure about the second section...
6. OK, no harm in asking! Looks like he may end up in the Premier League though:- http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/16415/8653638/Montpellier-full-back-Henri-Bedimo-is-reportedly-set-to-leave-the-French-side
7. They have made an effort now but have a read, it''s like they don''t know any of the players!! http://www.skysports.com/football/user_ratings/0,19768,11065_3409584,00.html
8. A comment on every Spurs player and not one for Norwich players. I have submitted a message in disgust but I don''t expect it to be published.... Absolutely disgusting.
9. Might be complete tosh but Sky Bet have lowered odds of him signing for NCFC from 20-1 to 10-1 "after a period of sustained betting". Sounds interesting!!
10.
Load of B***S,Not the way it looked to me , take a look at the photo on bbc sport website report, looks like they are in love
Couldn''t have put it better myself and now you have photographic proof. The way I saw it, Holt turned to the crowd to take the plaudits for a fantastic run and cross, and why shouldn''t he? This messageboard gets more depressing every day. Is it Norfolk mentality to find something to moan about? Surely every single Norwich fan is in dreamland at the moment...
11. Happy New Year all. I''m getting a bit ahead of myself here but I''m interested to see your opinions on the following:- If we manage to become an established Premiership side and the club decide to increase the ground capacity, do you think that the additional seats will meet demand or that we will end up with empty seats? I would be delighted if we become a permanent fixture in the league, but I have a feeling that we will be a mid to low tier side which flirts with relegation each year and fans will get fed up of seeing the side drawing/losing regularly. I can see ticket prices being increased significantly each season and families being priced out of going (many already are). Yesterday (first half) was the first time that I have been disappointed by the performance and whilst I would never give up my season ticket, the fact that there were a few boos at half-time makes me feel that to increase the capacity may not be a great idea. I think that PL was right to criticise the fans after the game; we have had an unbelievable couple of years since he was appointed and fans'' expectations have gone through the roof. To stay in this league will be a massive achievement and we all have to remember this. The club clearly needs to maximise revenue in order to invest in the squad each season but I would hate to see supply exceed demand and a wasted investment being made. Your thoughts, please!
12. I was in Top of the Terrace last night and I thought it was alright. Think of the River End on a typical match day; no singing but plenty of noise! Picture quality on the projector screens wasn''t perfect and I was quite surprised that they had live commentary, but well worth the entrance fee with the added bonus of being able to sup a pint! AA
13.
You''ll have to chill out! At the end of the day we all play each other home and away and you end up where you deserve to be. My hunch is that we will finish 5th. Many people on this board have been getting well ahead of themselves when 1) we have only recently hit 2nd place for a sustained period of time 2) this ''sustained period of time'' was helped by a 2 week international break 3) we hammered a woeful side at home who had 10 men before half time. I can''t see us getting 6 points from Watford & Forest so expect to slip back to where we have been sitting for the vast majority of the season by this time next week.
5th? OMG, that makes me feel even worse! I really don''t feel confident of getting promotion if we end up in the play-offs. Morty, mine''s a pint!
