1. Was drinking in The Bell last night and saw Gary Doherty and Tony Warner at the bar and after much encouragement from my mates decided to go over and have a little chat. Warner didnt seem that interested but the Doc was a top chap and we had a good chat about the game. According to the Doc we are set to sign Greg Halford on loan and he said a deal for Taylor was hopefully going to go through. I asked if Warner was coming back seeing as hes in Norwich but apparently it was just for a night out. Doc had celebrity status last night, it was quite funny how everyone seemeed to recognise ginger pele! I admit I have slagged him off in the past but I must admit fair play to him for talking to the supporters on a Saturday night out.
2.
I wonder how much was spent on yellows. . .
Probably as much as it would cost to sign Taylor.........
3. Apparently Neil and the board are going to go back to Karen Brady with a new and improved offer of £100k in 12 month installments, Simon Lapin on loan for the season and a complementary diner at Yellows.
4. Having read todays Evening News I was a bit hacked off to read the NCISA statement regarding the Andy Hughes situation. Having started the witch hunt on Nigel Worthington it now seems Roy Blower and co. have something else to moan about. I really wouldn''t be surprised to see a ''Hughes out'' demonstration before the Cardiff match at home, just so Blower can issue another statement and get his name in the paper. Rather than saying the player has no future with the club, how about supporting him rather than abusing him? His confidence has been completely destroyed. Getting slated by opposition fans is one thing but booing your own player is disgraceful.
5. I completely agree. The worst NCFC player of all time? People have short memories.
6. The treatment of Andy Hughes has been disgusting. I completely understand his reaction. I''d love to see Martin Hunter keep Hughes in the side and prove a few people wrong.
7. How do you know if Worthy has or hasn''t spoken to Sutton or his representitive? If Sutton is as good as you all say he is then he would have been signed by another club by now.
8.
Itay: Top manager, a few top players but essentially round pegs in round holes playing to a system and a plan. England: Wrong manager, a wealth of talent but round pegs in too many square holes playing to a system they could not adapt to with no plan B. Watford: Top young manager, no star players, round pegs in round holes, all knew their jobs and worked to a plan. If money is no object you could afford Steven Gerrard to play in midfield with Frank Lampard but it wouldn''t work. It isn''t about money, Clubs with much smaller resources than Norwich put out better equipped and balanced squads made up of good professionals. The very best managers, and they are rare, can do this time after time. The rest have their success cycle or get snapped up by other Clubs. Worthington had his peak the year we were promoted and has been in decline ever since, he shows no indications of being a perennial acheiver at Norwich; he has had his time and should not still be here. The acid test of the top manager is knowing the market and finding the right players. On that score Worthington is previously lucky, mediocre over the long term and currently inept.
It wasn''t luck that Worthington bought Francis for 250k, Mckenzie for 500k, Huckerby for 750k and Svensson for 100k.
9. I stayed at the end and have to say Worthy''s a brave man for facing the crowd. Fair play is what I say.
10. I''ve got an idea. Why don''t those who want to support the team turn up for the match against Wolves and those who just want to boo go and find another way to ged rid of the mid-life crisis that is setting in.
11. Norwich fans would only be happy if we played 90 minutes of Brazillian beach style football.
12.

assist for Mr Hughes, thats 2 assists in 2games, what a creative player lol
god he is awful....  if he is in the team next season
So awful Steve Coppell said before the Reading game in January how much he liked Hughes and how he didn''t want him to leave. Funny how he seems to play better away from home. I find it embarrassing how people can personally abuse a player who gives 100% for this football club. I suggest reading Karl Minns column in yesterdays Evening News.
13.
1. You misqoute me - I have never used bad words to describe anyone - but then if you told the truth that would spoil your arguement! 2. You then admit to being a KTF having denied it at first!! 3. How can you expect the taken seriosly when you support the worst manager we have ever had? If you were loyal you would want the best for the club which means getting rid of worthy! But you (eventaully) admit to being KTF - this does not seem very logic to me! Loyal fans say Worthy out!
I''ve been coming on to this message board on and off for the last few months and have had the pleasure of reading some complete and utter rubbush. This post by Silver Canary is up with the lot of them. To begin with, how is Nigel Worthington the worst manager we''ve ever had? The man is the most successful manager we''ve had at this club in the last decade. Fact. Yes, he''s made some disappointing signings but every manager has during his career. And because I don''t say ''Worthy Out'' I''m not loyal? Loyal fans support the team whoever is in charge. On the ball City!
