  1. Yeah come on MG7 - just because DDIM is at Uni and has more spare time than most to post, doesn''t give you the right to slag the tax dodger off in public!!
  2. Just been looking at the artists picture of the new housing development near Carrow Rd - Is it just me or are those the most ugly 1960ish looking flats I''ve ever seen? Is the architect an Ipswich supporter? cos he''s having a laugh, surely!!
  3. I just took a look at the photo and yes the players are arranged according to skin colour, there''s no doubt about that, I suppose it depends on the angle you take on this - have 5 black guys been arranged among 30 white guys or have the 30 white guys been arranged among the 5 black guys? and what''s more - whats Holty doing on the end with his red hair? lets have him in the center next time to keep the colours balanced!!
  4. Nice one kid!! well laid out and runs twice the speed of the Pinkun site, you need to get rid of those star things from the mouse arrow and add a message board. Top site - full marks!!
  5. Yep, I''ve heard he''s coming too but will take longer than a couple of days to sort out, by all accounts he will be a Norwich player for the start of season!
  6. Spot on Gazza, I remember being a bit disappointed [last season] that WBA seemed to be getting the early pre-season signatures, but then the realization that they had saved us from throwing money at a load of dross and that we still had money left to buy class kind of made up for it all!!
  7. An Ipswich striker hitting a target - I don''t believe it!!
  8. No, I don''t like it that much so won''t be buying one
  9. Koumas is wasting his time at WBA, he''s a colourful player and not suited to Megsons Grey 1-0 tactics, get him on board!!
  10. Thanks for your views ''thecadet'' but believe me you cannot compare Delia with Michael Knighton, it would be a bit like comparing a well run Premiership club such as Arsenal/Man U/Liverpool/Charlton etc with the likes of Everton. Enter the real world cadet you aren''t a supporter of big club, an important club or even a good club. The reality is Norwich will probably be fighting relegation next season, everyone pretty much accepts that fact but what keeps our hopes alive is the knowledge that self inflated clubs like Everton/Spurs/Man city etc will be our opponents in the fight for survival!
  11. Yeah but you have to smile - Norwich Town!!! what kind of reporting is that?? it''s a bit like calling the finest international team in the World - Brazil Athletic
  12. Ive not seen any plans but shouldn''t it be possible to combine the two and have seating on the outer wall facing the pitch?
  13. Yep, I reckon the anti Ipswich line is right out of order, by beating Sunderland they have obviously won us promotion in a single stroke and deserve most of the credit!! Perhaps as a mark of respect we should let them take our place in the Premiership, after all we would never have made it if it wasn''t for our Suffolk cousins doing us the favour Seems like Potato Head got his tac-tics right and saved our season! he wasn''t trying to improve Ipswich''s play off hopes but trying to win us promotion!! Come on y''arll - what you got in there? - wool for brains?!!!
  14. No doubt Ipswich will sell more of those T Shirts than their official strip - nuff said!!
  15. Every year since relegation [except this one, doe!!] I''ve placed £50 per season on Norwich getting promoted, perhaps I was the jinx all along!!
  16. I''m not sure about the rest of you - but I thought the ref had a very average game Yesterday - that knock down to Phil Mulryne to score the winner was more luck than judgement, if he had been any good he would have knocked it straight down to Iwan who would have slotted it in with ease from 2 yards, come on ref, get a grip!!
  17. Yep it''s Millwall for me too, as they and WBA will probably be relegated straight away leaving only one more relegation slot for us to avoid!
  18. The greatest goal has to be the one scored in about two weeks time, which wins us promotion, it will probably be Huckerby or McKenzie but would be nice if Iwan got it, especially as reaching 100 goals for this club is looking pretty impossible
  19. It does seem some players can do no wrong and others can have just one average 30 minutes in a single game and their Norwich career is potentially over, didn''t Rivers get slaughtered for a 30 minute spell after coming on as sub, previous to that he was having a good season, add to that, both McVeigh & Rivers were playing out of there natural position - their treatment does seem a bit harsh to say the least, especially when Francis played several games wide right and played pretty naff in all of them, he explained that it wasn''t his best position and all was forgiven!!
  20. At the end of the day he is just saying what we all believe to be true, isn''t he? so why knock him for being positive, I live abroad and have been telling all my mates [who are supporters of other clubs] exactly the same thing, ok there could be a lot of egg on faces if it goes wrong but I honestly don''t believe it will nor do I believe such a statement from Worthy adds more pressure, it''s faith he''s showing - nothing wrong with that!!
  21. So the income from the corner infill will be 500k while in the prem but only 100k if we return to Div 1?? - if we get relegated, assuming we will be pushing for promotion and will still be getting full houses, this can mean only one thing!!!! - ticket prices will drop to one fifth of their premiership price, so instead of paying £25 for a ticket in the prem, it''s only going to be £5 back in Div 1, mmmmmmmmmmmmm I don''t think so!! We all know you are going to build it Mr D, after all the cost of building a temporary stand only to pay for it to be knocked down and the real stand built at a later date just doesn''t make any economical sense. Worry ye not Mr D we will all give you a pat on the back when you build it, you don''t have to stretch the story!! but I like the cut of your jib all the same!!
  22. Yep, but you know what they say - "One mans triviality is another mans banquette" it does at first appear to be shallow reporting but having said that Ive lived most of my life abroad and I have to say it''s probably only in Britain where the city''s biggest celebrity gets treated and charged by the law the same as you and me. In any other City in the World, the biggest football star would have been stopped, the police would have recognized who he was, asked for his autograph, had a laugh and let him go, then stopped a grunt like me or you and charged us £200 for the same offense. It''s still shallow reporting but at least it''s reassurance that we [well you] live in the last bastion of democracy where everyone gets treated equally and at the same time it makes you marvel at the efficiency of today''s modern Police Force!!!!
  23. 4-2, Joe Royle''s excuse - the team were tired because of the coach trip, can''t believe he''s getting away with feeding them lines like that! good old Joe!!
