1. What is the big issue about Beckford?F.A cup aside he has hardly been prolific in 2010 has he! Personally I think his mind is elsewhere and Larry knows it.
 2.
Well, environmentally speaking Bly, I''d suggest that fellow looks like he could do with a bit of a clean-up himself.
No no, YC all that hair is a pollution filtration system! You dont know nuffin!
 3. I thought it was 10 for a suspension this season? Maybe wrong......
 4. Southampton away winners at Tranmere for me.Good luck Obiwan and all you pups.
 5. Liverpool to see off Blackburn for me this week. With Torres back and a good midweek win defo worth a punt. Home win
 6. As we are all top pundits in our own minds, lets have a little comp. As the title suggests top 6 at the end of the season and predicted points.1) Norwich City              912) Charlton Athletic         873) Leeds Utd                  864) Swindon Town           865) Col Who                    856) Huddersfield               79The winner to choose my lottery ticket numbers!
 7. Hmmm, Brenda you never learn do you!I put your condition down to acute attention seeking disorder and consequently was my hands of the blight you bring to this forum. Before you retort with your usual guff of  "how very mature", I think you should re read what you have written and try to remember what got you hooked with the green and yella fever. Would you really want to alienate these new supporters? Perhaps some maybe a few years below you at school and wants wrong with them wanting in on the feel good factor, or would you rather they were sent down the A140 to the binners You really need to ditch the small mindedness and start looking beyond your p.c if you are going to be respected on here or in life in general.
 8.

Lewis would be ideal and he''ll be on his way, especially if Peterborough go down...however, it will be to a Prem club. Besides, they''ll want £1.5-£2 Million for him and will probably get it. Relegation might bring the value down, but we still won''t be able to afford him.
Even if he wanted to play in the Championship - assuming that''s where we are next season - I''m not convinced that Joe Lewis is the answer Old Shuck.I was at London Road last night and he was caught out of position several times, particularly in the first half, and was badly at fault for the Ipswich goal. When he left City and quickly went on to make the England squad most of us, myself included, thought that Glenn Roeder had let him go too cheaply. I believe we got an initial £400,000 plus a decent add-on when Posh got promoted last year.Seeing him yesterday he''s a million miles away from the England set-up and it may be that Roeder did a fair bit of business considering he never once played for the City first team.
So his form has nothing to do with him playing for a team at the bottom of the league and probably all lacking a bit of confidence. Couple that in with the total balls up as to the management situation at P''boro, and I''d say he wasnt doing too bad. I know about the howler last night, but I also heard he was fairly solid after that.Just think its too easy to write off a player without looking at the whole picture. Especially in this instance.
 9.
Rudd looked impressive in the games when Forster was suspended. He clearly doesn''t lack confidence, so give him his head, and bring in an experienced back up as a failsafe.
So would you then assuming we get promoted with a few games to spare, play Rudd and send back FF or send out Rudd now on loan? I rather see us being a bit proactive on this issue personally.
 10.
Lambert isn''t the first manager to do the 5 up front. I remember Worthy did it quite a few times.  It will only work if the team has confidence, like they do now and did in the last promotion winning season. No matter who the manager was, I think if we had gone 5 up front away from home last season we would have been punished.  And I believe it is the same for Leeds at the moment, after their recent poor form, I don''t think they have the confidence to go to a 3-2-5 formation.
Just a shame that was never in the Premiership season eh?!?
 11. Good luck boro!Millwall to dish out more of the treatment to Exeter that we got. Millwall win!

 15.
Why not just forget this thread - we are winning games and defending well, whoever is picked. Lambert has improved many of our players, so why even speculate what they may or may not do in the Championship (if we get there!). So if everyone is playing better than they were before Lambert came along - why not just wait and see how they do in the Championship, or whether (if we get up) he introduces more competition. This thread seems to be arguing over the past, or what may happen in the future, whilst ignoring the here and now - which is.....actually not too bad - for a change!
Because we are all entitled to our opinion and to challenge others on theirs! So join in and have you say pro or con the Doc or go and join the One Voice forum!
 16.

Spillane scores higher on the whole list of qualities required to make a good centre half then both Nelson and Doherty for me.
If those qualities don''t include strength, pace, reading of the game, awareness, positioning, marking, aerial ability, ability on the ball and pretty much anything else it takes to be a centreback then it could be possible that Spillane is better than Doherty. I would suggest that, as it stands, Spillane is behind Doherty, Nelson, Askou and Whitbread in the pecking order for playing at centreback and, unless he comes on leaps and bounds very quickly, that isn''t likely to change. Handy enough backup for Russell Martin though (at this level).
ok, ok... DOHERTY Awareness = low Leadership = low to medium Positioning = low or medium at best Aerial = medium Marking = medium Ability on the ball/skill = low medium at best Tackling = medium Strength = medium to high Pace = low Experience = medium to high   SPILLANE   Awareness = medium Leadership = low to medium Positioning = low to medium Aerial = low Marking = medium Ability on the ball/skill = medium to high for a centre half Tackling = medium to high (did you see him go through the guy at Gillingham amongst others) Strength = low to medium Pace = medium to high Experience = low   So there you go not much difference between the two of them.  It all depends on what kinda opposition you are up against who will come out best. But if you play Doherty and Nelson together against a team with pacy strikers who can finish then you are asking for trouble.  Surely you have learnt that by now? I also think that Spillane can push very hard for being first choice in the right back slot and will not be content to just sit playing second fiddle to Russell Martin.  Let''s not forget that Spillane was in fantastic ofrm when he picked up his injury.
I always wondered what you did for a living Smudge? Now I know, you work for Top Trumps! Impressive stat lists.......who has the bigger arse?

 21. Tidy report Riccardo. I assume Mr Mcnally duly noted you request for Peroni on tap? Was there any discontent at all from the AGM?

 24.
How can anyone say that if Drury was fully fit tomorrow they would start Rose?Drury has had an excellent season, one of our most consistent performers, Rose has played one game!
Dont get drawn into dialogue with the serial forum offenders Bendun or Benedictgr. Both will make you weep blood in frustration and leave you with a belief that bedtime should really be set at 7pm for some. But hey the choice is yours!
