  1. Even the best manager in the world would struggle to get any more from these new signings. A manager in any walk of life can only work with the tools he is given. Farke never stood a chance of success, it’s the person who signed off these awful signings who should have sacked. I guess we would all agree it was not DF. Thats under the remit of Sporting Directors. Webber when we were doing well in the Championship, thought he would go and work abroad in due course. Well his dream is duly shattered. Perhaps like nearly all the players, he is also limited at championship level.
  2. Guess the person best qualified to answer that is Pukki! I know the old saying that one man does not make a team, but without him this season makes me question that. Poor old Pukki is lost without the assists by Emi. The team as a whole misses his goals. That transfer is going to cost us dearly. He had a further year or two under contract here, should have been made to stay at least until this next window. At least then we would have known how we were shaping up. Fact is the club could not wait to sell him and grab the money. Here we are a few months later knowing that that transfer money has gone down the drain. Next season we will not be able to sell anyone, who would buy any of them. We are left with a lot of players who have diminished in value , as we clearly paid over the odds for such a lot of untested players at this level.
  3. How can we rebuild? No worthwhile players to sell. Therefore no funds available. Even if there was don’t let Webber near the money, if this last window is an indication. All the players bought in the last window have gone down in value, who on earth would want any of them. Furthermore what is the point of ever going up again?
  4. On that awful display today, none of this poorly assembled squad are PL players. None of them!
  5. What else can we expect. Who could manage those rubbish players bought….I assume by Webber Seems to me that the wrong person was sacked! Farke paid the price. painful watching that awful display today. Let’s face it, the Champs is our rightful place in the football pyramid. stiil never mind we are still self funding that’s the only think that matters.
  6. We have history here, remember Jarvis, and Byram, both bought from West Ham. due diligence not paid enough attention with those two signings. Moral don’t consider anyone from the Hammers in future
  7. The facts are, we are down. The recruitment in the last window was to put it nicely was ..........you can fill in the rest! Most of the transfer funds were wasted, so is there any point in throwing good money after bad. Not while the people who signed off the last transfers are in charge. Otherwise it would be similar to the Norfolk council erecting the Bat Bridges on the NDR after being told the ones on the Elevenden A11 by pass were useless.
  8. It’s about time this question should be raised. My bet it was not Farke, who unfortunately had to play with the players he was dealt with. I bet he had very little say in who was going out or coming in. So it must be the top man, Webber who has to carry the can. Clearly his bragging about spending more in the last window ( most from the sale of Emi) than in our history. That means nothing when most has been wasted. I’ve never seen such a load of dross signed in one window before……by any club! it seems to me there will no longer be a long line of clubs wanting his services as he thought there would be. We have to accept every time we get promoted, we are living the dream, but punching above out weight. The Championship is our rightfully home!
  9. Considering this clubs main aim is to sell our best assets each summer window..........it begs the question, who on earth would want to buy ANY of our players after their showing this year? Normann has shown to be the best......but we don't own him. All the players bought in in the last window would only be sold at a massive loss. All the money from the Emi sale completely wasted. So this simple means after our relegation our future, player wise and finance looks dire.
  10. Could not agree more. what exciting times when we then signed him up permanently. Showed us what a loyal person he was, sadly not repaid by the manager of the day when his career came towards the end.
  11. Save your money. It on Amazon Prime for free. Get a free month’s trial, watch the games available, then cancel Prime.
  12. Why would he want to sign for us NOW! Who would? If he is as good as he seems up to now, he will get his chance in the PL with a more stable club.
  13. It was quite obvious to us all that a proven striker should have been a massive priority. PL is not the place to bring in young ones with very poor scoring records, such as Josh. sadly it seems the this whole clubs mantra is buying cheap, finger crossed they come good, then sell for millions. Little thought really given to keep us up. Frankly lessons have not been learned from our last visit to the PL. I would think Farke is glad to be out of this impossible task.
  14. I would have thought, given his fantastic Champs record, that one of the Champs clubs would have grabbed him. On the other hand he may not want to stay in the UK.
  15. Been going to CR for 60 years, so I’ve seen all of the great players. But I would say that Emi , would just be ahead of Martin Peters, and Ron Davies for me.
  16. Big import call, be interest that’s for sure
  17. How can you be sure of that. It seems most Directors of Football at most clubs do the wheeling and dealing with buying and selling players these day.
  18. YES! The person who recruited the batch of dross in the last window, should go. If we assume it was Webber, then he should have gone. if he thought any of them would have a bigger sell on value in a year or two he will be lucky not to show a loss on them all. should have bought less in numbers, and ready for the PL, not for the future. Sadly Daniel has been the fall guy.
  19. Let's face it, is it truly possible for a so called self funding club to succeed these days in the money rich PL. Have we been punching above our weight in these last two promotions? Is there any other PL club self funding?
  20. With his fantastic record in the Championship, on two promotions on a shoestring, who would not want him? But would him and his back room staff want to stay here in the UK ? Bet they will be in huge demand in Germany.
  21. Well Webber is the “Boss” and that’s often where the buck stops. I assume he more than Farke was responsible for the awful recruitment in the last window. Normann so far is the only one who has PL quality about him. The Emi fee has been completely wasted. He was the one who could not wait to sell him, even if his contract had years to run. Never, ever, despite all our sales over the years has one player been missed so much.
  22. Our current situation is not entirely Farke’s fault. the person who should be sacked is the one who recruited this new lot of dross, Normann apart. I bet it was not Farke, he had to work with the cards he was dealt with. Normann the only ace in the pack and we don’t even own him The wheels have truly fell off the wagon, in terms of NCFC only business plan. None of these newcomer’s will ever be good enough to to sell on a massive profits. NCFC only bought in all these players with that in mind, and did not recruite with the aim on just staying up. Quantity instead of quality.,,,,,,,,, .
  23. By way and far the very best of the new signings. The others are frankly very poor. He is also the best player at Norwich at present. But as I understand it he is only on loan, so at least Webber won’t be able to sell him!! Otherwise he would be gone in January! Sorry did not see similar post on Normann
