Probably old news and apologies for not checking the board thoroughly if so but it appears Ashton really was injured as he''s out of West Ham''s cup game for this weekend. Anyway, time to move on . . .
Haven''t you realised that Pardew is part of the conspiricy, then you could be aswell, I was out climbing Mt. Everest last night and he came past me and he was fine.

To what extent should you be heard
A Load of Squit replied to Ankles50's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
As a paying fan i.e. season ticket holder, merchandise purchaser, how much do you think the club should listen to your opinions and what sort of mediums do you think best communicates your thoughts. Collective singing at ground with other like minded folks, meetings arrange by club both formal & social, written letter or telephone conversation, fans associations? Its obvious there is a divide amongst fans opinions at the moment (i''m not interested in the split to be honest) but is there a sentiment that if you say what the board likes/wants to hear you are more readily heard, this is of course only human nature. Thoughts of some would be interesting, turning this thread into another petty squabble between some over opinionate & rude posters would not be (see how i re-enforced point i made above there in that last statement).
If you contact the club they listen to you regardless of whether you ''say what the board likes/wants to hear'' or not, they may not agree with you but thats a different matter. -
when will carrow road break... even some of the most vehement Worthy Outers have not start the chant yet, southamptopn had rumblings of discontent, Preston was just a complete shock aftert 5 wins at being totally outplayed and watford was just hugely disappointing after leading twice. worthy is lucky, the next home game is the local derby, and they are poor, but should we look like losing.......
Paul, I''m sure you''ll find more reasons why the mythical majority does not materialise, these people are not '' vehement'', they a passionless apathetic rabble who even can''t be bothered to chant thier feelings. If you have to start a post as one person and then answer it later as another just to keep the interest going after the usual five or six (could be three more multiple personality disorder sufferers) have posted then you should realise by your own actions you condemn yourself.
ive got the bottle mate.its the other mutes that wont join in that get up my nose.ive started it before and if looks could kill id be dead.whats wrong with everybody?cant they see whats going on and if we dont act then worthy will ruin this club.
Now I''ve been telling you for weeks thats there is a mythical majority of WO''s and Paul has helped me prove it, thank you.
A handful of nutters who now nothing and don''t care about the club or where its going. Whereas a number of the more articulate posters constantly harangue the Wiz 1, Mr Rankin and those misguided others, haven''t seen any Squit posts today, and those other sane posters who go by the names of Maddan and Crazy Eddie, amongst the majority are perfectly happy with the way Worthy is running the team.
Your posts about me are poorly researched, I posted earlier today.

Isn't the world so evil?!
A Load of Squit replied to Crazy Eddie's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

This one''s for the conspiracy theorists who would have us believe Ashton''s groin strain was a fake to further his move to West Ham. Perhaps they could now enlgihten me as to what purpose it serves for him still to be struggling with said imaginary injury meaning he won''t feature for his new club at the weekend?
link to said article please.................. or is this junk
Unlike you to let the facts get in the way of a good story. -

A Load of Squit replied to still holding out for new heroes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Squit, can''t you come up with something original rather than just posting inane and irritating one-liners? Are you a Traffic Warden by any chance?
I suppose you think that exposing posts like this one isn''t a good idea. -
One of my many alter egos eh!! you have found me out Dicky-Squat!! lol Muahahahah and you said you dont go to wrathofthebarclay.... who is changing their position now!! (ps and you really are)
I like to read whats on there (and other boards) but I''d never post on there as its just alot of swearing and little else. Does that mean you have multiple personalities on this board aswell?

And this one was posted on WOTB by Tricky Hawes, can''t you guys come up with any original thought? -

Yeah or we could buy a time machine and go forward in time and see if they''ve improved, return and not sign them if they havent. How about holding a register of all the fans on here who are masters of hindsight and Nigel has to phone them when he''s identified a player and they say yes or no. Maybe we start cloning all the current internationals and create a wonderteam.
no hindsight was needed to assess the abilities of Andy Hughes, Jason Jarrett (Whom missed most of Wigans promotion year) and Dickson Etuhu. Just a decent scout and an able manager
Is that why you changed your mind about Andy Hughes? And I''m very dissappointed that you haven''t discussed my other two suggestions.
Don''t attempt any more comedy, Squit, it doesn''t really suit you. You''re far better when you adopt your condescending manner. Practice makes perfect I suppose
Hey Steve, I can call you Steve can''t I? Cos I feel we are getting close. I''m a really funny guy, you seem to be taking all of this a bit to heart. I felt the original post had to be treated with contempt as it was just going over some old ground that had been dealt with and it was very boring. -

I.m afraid that the club don''t have to keep you up to date on the transfer dealings, it does not matter whether you''re confused or not they do whats best for the club. Once you understand that you have to wait and see what happens I''m sure the confusion will go away and you''ll be able to concentrate on what you can understand. -
Enough profiteering over the sale of our star striker, it shows that we (or rather you) have accepted the fact that we are little Norwich the selling club. I don''t accept this and am fed up of it always being assumed that we will continuously allow mediocre performaces and big name sales. We need to realise that because of our superb home gates, and the miraculuous fact that Doncaster hasn''t sold Huckerby for 20p (sorry I''ll be fair selling him for £1.5m compared to the £750,000 we paid for him)- I''ve had enough of assuming we are lucky to have players of that calibre and I''m damn well fed up of accepting and condoning failure. PLayers make mistakes and play badly, fair enough but Worthy needs to then drop them. Tough luck- why are we accepting uncommitted performances (and I''m hopefully saying performances rather than players) from the likes of Etuhu or even Loius-Jean? It is totally unacceptable. Nigel Worthington has been fantastic throughout his time at the club, but now has been a prolonged period of failure which is not something that should be embraced instantly. I''m thoroughly gutted by the sale of Ashton and the sickening gloating of certain figures unfortunately at the club. Perhaps in League 1 the low traffic will allow more people to stay in the hotel? Who knows, there will be some silver lining taking from our failure though eh Neil? When we get quality we need to fight hard to keep it and to get more- failure should hurt and not be analysed for crumbs of comfort in the profit margins.
Jim, ''sickening gloating'' by whom?

A Load of Squit replied to DumbleDelia is Magic's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Janaury 9th “Gary McSheffrey is a player that we like and one that we''ve made a phone call about, but that''s as far as it''s gone,” said City boss Nigel Worthington today. From: http://new.pinkun.com/search/story.aspx?brand=PINKUNOnline&category=Norwich &itemid=NOED09%20Jan%202006%2014:14:11:233&tBrand=PINKUNOnline&tCategory=search January 24th "McSheffrey - who scored against the Canaries during the 2-2 draw between the two sides at the Ricoh Arena in November - has managed 10 Championship goals for the struggling Sky Blues this term and has been widely linked with a move to Carrow Road following Ashton''s exit. But a Norwich spokeswoman said: "This is just pure speculation. We know nothing about such talk. This one is easy, the first statement was made by a man, the second was made by a woman, no wonder they contradict each other "Obviously at this time of year there are going to be rumours and I think recent events mean that that speculation will become even more intense." From: http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/News/Story_Page/0,7760,1790_973546,00.html HOW can both possibly be true?
