Ok Squit and A1 http://new.edp24.co.uk/search/story.aspx?brand=EDPOnline&category=Sport&itemid=NOED08%20Jan%202006%2014:53:01:487&tBrand=EDPOnline&tCategory=search http://new.edp24.co.uk/search/story.aspx?brand=EDPOnline&category=Sport&itemid=NOED08%20Jan%202006%2014:53:01:487&tBrand=EDPOnline&tCategory=search http://new.edp24.co.uk/search/story.aspx?brand=EDPOnline&category=Sport&itemid=NOED05%20Jan%202006%2017:46:42:450&tBrand=EDPOnline&tCategory=search now kindly shut up chaps eh [;)] im afraid that the mediums of Technology dont allow me to record Radio Norfolk... Give me a bit more time and i will get everything on the BBC football site and evening news 24 if you want.... jas :)
Jas, look at the dates, these quotes are nearly  two weeks old, how do you know that they were not true at the time?
 2.
Yesterday Doncaster said there was no truth whatsoever in the rumours we had done a deal with West Ham - BLATANT LIE . After the game Worthington said there had been no bids  accepted - BLATANT LIE . If you people want to pretend the club have not treated you like mugs thats fair enough , but every Norwich City fan has been lied to by this disgrace of a Board.
The deal was done at 18:00hrs, the bid was accepted at 18:00hrs, when they were speaking they were not lying. You can''t argue with the facts.
 3. "3. Lying and misleading fans by saying "no offers interest us".... i could go back through the archives on EDP24 and EEN 24 and pull up every single quote about Ashton over the past 3 weeks.. but i have a life and havent got time to do that... Suffice to say you have a very selective memory" I think you should because then you''d realise that the qoutes you''ve attributed to him are wrong just as you are wrong on the ''can''t pass a medical if you are injured'' issue.
 4.

Go away and play with your toys little boy , its all above your head.
Like I said, hysterical nonsense.
So squit what are your thoughts on yesterdays performance?  oh but of course you dont actually hold views on anything do you!! Ady bothroyd on no budget at all has managed to craft a side better than ours. nothing more needs to be said
Paul, was commenting on the Ashton sale but if it makes you happy. Neither side deserverved a win, Ady said on the BBC site that he thought we were the better side, I''m not sure about that. I do agree with NW, football is a cruel game.
 5.
Squit... Radio Norfolk, Neil Adams, the EDP, Evening news, this Very site and bbc.co.uk/football im not in the business of Slander jas :)
OK, repeat each one and reference where they came from.
 6. I agree and I think YC is right about the board, not sure about the last two sentances.
 7.
We will NEVER be a big club whilst these muppets are in charge. WHERE is the ambition? TAKE A BLOODY RISK! But oh no, we wasted our Premiership opportunity, unlike the likes of West Ham who are grasping it with both hands. We now have to accept that we will always be stuck in this league, or worse. Which no doubt people like Dicky/Squit are pleased with... Worthy Out And take your bloody cook and puppet Doncaster with you.
If you think that the sale of Aston means that ''we will always be stuck in this league, or worse'' then you are getting a bit carried away. Norwich will be succesful in the future and I hope that you and I will both be there to see it.
 8.
Go away and play with your toys little boy , its all above your head.
Like I said, hysterical nonsense.
 9.
2 weeks ago.. "dean Ashton has a thigh strain" Neil Adams appears on Radio Norfolk and says "i havent seen Dean limping at all" After the game (ironically vs West ham... the deal had been done then.. formalitites wrre completed this week) the club come out and say "Ashton has a groin strain.. we dont know how long he will be out.. we have Proof!" if you have a groin strain u dont pass a medical to leave the club.... simple as! the club (Doomcaster) come out and say "no one has been in contact over dean ashton" for the past few weeks... this clearly wasnt true.. considering Harry Redknapp came out and said in the paper he was QUOTED 7 million by Norwich.... Doomcaster says yesterday "we havent received any bids for dean Ashton.. noone has met our valuation.. h isnt going anywhere..." well whoops Neil.. u put ur foot in it there didnt you! the 2 biggest lies at this club were told last night and in the summer.. in the summer it was "we dont have to sell our best players" last night it was "no one has come in for ashton, he isn''t going.. we have had no contact" well this club has lied to us from the start "prudence and ambition" my rear end.. it seems everything Doncaster and Worthington have come out with in recent weeks have been Bluff... Do the club think we are all idiots?????? we ALL KNEW deano was off.. and the club have made themselves look stupid by lying to us over it.... Im fully expecting more cock and bull to come out.. something along the lines of "this bid took place yesterday" which doesnt explain the injury "proof" does it???? if deano was injured he wouldnt be at west ham now... Doncaster shoudl stop talking such Rubbish! as should Worthy.. if this is the dishonesty at Carrow road then they should all go! jas :)
Jas, you can''t just put quotes around what you think he said, what media did they come from?
 10. Its the only way to describe the hysterical nonesense that being posted. Most of you are doing exactly what you''re accusing the Club of doing, you''re lying. Read the Doncaster quotes, he hasn''t said any of the stuff you are saying, if you''ve interpreted what he''s said incorrectly then its your problem. Accusing the board of asset stripping is barmy, the money that the Smiths have invested in the club is in shares, if they are trying to ruin the club then they will be reducuing the value of thier share holding, thats not asset stripping. I can''t believe we get this rubbish every time we sell a high profile player, look back in history, its happened loads of times and we''ve got through it. I think you''ll find that this time unlike the Chase era (when we had to sell to keep the bank happy) that the money will go to buy new players and you have the current board to thank for us being in the position to do so. Some of you need stop posting on here and go and finish you basket weaving!
 11.
Indeed it is. I can accept the fact that the club are selling the player, but what I cannot accept is the lies and deception that have preceeded today''s announcement. I have mailed my thoughts to the club at ''reception@ncfc-canaries.co.uk'' marking them for the attention of Neil Doncaster and Nigel Worthington. This e-mail address is from the clubs official site. In over 30 years of supporting the club I have never felt so betrayed as I do this morning.
You''ve mailed your thoughts. Wow, thats really going to make a difference, I''ve been telling you lot for weeks if you want change you should protest. There are plenty of opportunities, if you really have the majority on your side and you passionately want it get off your @rses and do something.
 12. I really enjoyed reading this post, a thorough and fair analysis of players and manager without resorting to insults and outrageous claims. Unfortunately it seems that the one needed resource that you highlight is what the WO''s will not give him.
 13.
I have nothin against the constant stream of Anti Worthy / Norwich threads on here, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What really pisses me is that all of these people turn invisible at Supporters'' meetings. They flush out this message board with anti Worthy comments, but when a time comes when it might actually be heard by someone influential, they bottle it. Please stop saying crap like "if i see Worthy i will tell him what i think...", because, frankly, you''ve had your chances in the past but never actually follow your threats
I think you''ll find these people don''t go to meetings, they don''t do anything that requires some action. They are afraid that they will discover the truth, they cannot prove thier ''mythical majority''.
 14.
Red Nose, I did use paragraphs when writing but, when my post shows up, they are gone. While you were away ( I believe ) there were some updates to the system but kinks are still being worked out ( again, I believe ). Sometimes, from my end, I notice certain threads seem to disappear altogether, this being one of them. If I then find it through a "search" and add a post, it shows up again only to repeat the same problem later in the day. Incidentally, your posts are among the many that repeatedly show the whole of the poster''s message you are responding to, followed by a brief few words from you. I personally find this undesirable. Is this something you are doing deliberately. Many are and, for me, it''s wasted space and scrolling on too many messages. I''d rather it was stopped.
Barry, I''m worried about the threads that keep disappearing from you end, I''d get that looked at if I were you, perhaps instead of ''phoning Neil this Saturday you should go and see a doctor.
 15.
If there is this money available it ought to be spent on players, oops forgot Worthy would have it to spend not a good move. We may have sold 20k season tickets last year, 2k on list, suggest we gauge the list after this season allocation, the fair weather fans will fall away.  If we still have a waiting list then perhaps extend.  Don''t really think we have too much dosh sitting in the bank, taking on credit to pay for extension for a support you might not be able to attract doesn''t appear to be very prudent, although it is certainly ambitious.
You missed the point that said if it was a sustained demand, so yes they are going to wait and see what happens.
 16.
Is posters starting one thread and then feeling they need to respond to each alternative opinion and compounding it by copying the earlier posts and attaching it to their responses. You know who you are, can you state your case and wait for a nanosecond or two before indignantly supporting your views with a further extended posts. If anyone finds this annoying please give me some names to name and shame those involved.  I promise to respond with a witty retort to every post at the soonest opportunity.
Who said you could make the rules?
 17.

As I feel its no good to ask him to quit: My message to Worthy - "Go on a raid to Essex and come back with Eastwood, Halford and Danns" Anybody else got any pinkun ''message board printable'' comments for him!
Paul, you''ve already stated in another post that you don''t think NW reads this board so what the point of this.
Why not, I wanna no what people would want to say to him?? your quite funny captain dicky, you never actually post anything to back up worthy or a player, you just attempt to attack those that see fault in him by stating he is in the job and so must no what he is doing. Anyway I dont think you are an NCFC fan Captain Dicky, you certainly have no opinions on anything so why bother posting on the board at all?
None of you have the courage to put these points to the manager face to face.
 18.
To Zippers, Gazza, Fat Barman & others of that ilk: I have no doubt that some of your desire to see an end to the "friction" is directed toward me. I am afraid I can not please you in that regard. We all have our own reasons for coming on this message board and, generally, it does and should revolve around NCFC. My reasons for posting are varied. Sometimes I like to write something to stimulate thought between posters that I regard as sensible, sometimes a little poetry or humour, sometimes to get up someone''s nose who is so bloody minded in attempting to put down the opinion of others without having the decency to offer substance to support their different point of view ( just I''m a better supporter than you etc etc ). The input that I offer ( or that anyone else offers for that matter ) will cause an individual (s) to sometimes appreciate it and sometimes be turned off by it. I accept that. No need to read...it''s called freedom of choice. If we all were the same then, in my opinion, the whole would become more bland. For example Zippers, I enjoy your posts but I could not take them on a steady diet with no other meals on offer. Your balanced posts carry MORE WEIGHT as a result of the variety of other posters. Not meaning to pick on you by the way...that''s true of all of us. Gazza said she missed me when I was not posting. Yet, if all she ever came to expect of me was one type of approach ( as on this thread ) she would probably lose interest altogether. Link mentions above, however, that my input on this thread made him laugh out loud. Horses for courses. Unfortunately guys, whether it''s input on a message board, television, newspapers or any other medium it''s never going to please all of us all of the time. Therefore, while these occasional calls to still the waters will emerge from time to time they are, in my view, futile. Market forces will be what moves the conversation away from a topic that appears to be stuck in neutral with hostility. Worthy Out and on the ball City.
Barry, so its OK for you to be bloody minded but not anyone else?
 19.
 20. ZLF, when have you ever seen a protest thats wants things to stay as they are because thats what you are suggesting, I can just see it now "What do we want?", "No Change", "When do we want it?", "Now and err keep going". The reason you won''t organise for the change you want is that when the numbers don''t turn up you''d have to wake up to reality, just saying your the majority does not mean you are.
 21. Interesting that you''ve resurrected this old post as it demonstrates what wrong with you lot and I quote ''Some of us probably think that if enough of us talk about the same mistakes then Worthy might acutally get the hint''. Do you honestly think that a post on here will change anything? If you do you are deluded, you need to demonstrate to force the change. Your avatars say ''Go now'' but you can''t be bothered to get off your backsides and make it happen now, unless you prove you are the majority then you are just a collection of self serving backslappers.
 22.
Immature sums you up very nicely Dicky , how it must hurt you so that a majority of Norwich fans want the fool that is Worthington removed .You and your like will always settle for 3rd best , no ambition , happy to be little Norwich , do as we are told mentallity . Sad  people.
This ''majority'' is a myth, unless you prove otherwise you should stop using the term.
 23.
Squit, I want you to think about this question very carefully. Do you understand ( I''m going to repeat in capital letters so there''s no chance of you missing the point ), DO YOU UNDERSTAND the reason that so many people refer to you as Dicky? It is because your style and approach is exactly the same Dicky''s as it relates to your criticism of others who have provided CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM of what is wrong with the management approach at Norwich City for the past 18 months. You, on the other hand , like Dicky, hardly ever provide any substance to support your point of view. For example, you constantly state the number of W/O''s is very small, and then use daft examples, quite frankly, of W/O''s hiring a hall for a public meeting to see how many will attend. Having come out with that daft approach you then have the audacity to suggest a responder is immature for suggesting the same process could be used to validate your point of view. Again, lot''s of "Dicky style" but no substance. Incidentally, if you indeed are not Dicky, you may wish to look into whether you have a second family ( and a twin brother ) on the south coast who put you on a fast train leaving Brighton at an early age.
Barry, This is what I find crazy, who would call a public meeting to say that a man who has got the job should keep it? If you want to change things then you have to show the support for change and as long as the only real evidence is one protest by a few after one home game and a poorly supported web site (set up specifically for the cause) I''ll believe that they are not the majority, I don''t think thats unreasonable. I don''t think people calling the manager an idiot is constructive
