  1. Interesting polling. Won't go down well at CCHQ, the Daily Mail or the Torygraph. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/apr/21/uk-voters-frustrated-with-politicians-desperate-culture-war-tactics-survey-finds
  2. When Sir Jim Ratcliffe turned up at Wembley after running the London Man Utd were 3-0 up. He's a curse, long may it continue.
  3. Thank God you're OK, we all thought you'd set yourself on fire outside the court building.
  4. Is 'The anti legacy fans agenda' the follow up to 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
  5. Will Man City be allowed to include the Co-Op Live venue as part of their revenue?

  7. He was born in Norwich and at his press conference he said he had a season ticket at CR as a kid, had lots of family at the match.
  8. PPE, Test and Trace, UC rollout, none of these are an assumption, they happened and they were cr@p. And there are more examples. What is it about the current government gives you confidence that they'll get this right? It'll be a waste of our money.
  9. It's still an assessment by people who claim to be specialists which what you originally put your faith in. The government has a track record of setting up cr@p systems, if they implement this it will be just as bad. It'll probably outsourced to one of their mates to make a loads of money paid for by tax payers.
  10. No it's not a different thing, when you go for a PIP assessment they keep telling you the assessors are specialists, when it's obvious they're just people who have been put through a training course by the DWP. My wife's assessment said she liked walking her dog, the only problem was that we didn't have a dog and she definitely didn't recall a dog being mentioned during the assessment. When she was turned down we asked our local MP (Conservative) if we could appeal and they said "Yes, most people do and they win their appeal", she was correct because that was what happened.
  11. Not if it's like the PIP assessors, they're not specialists in any particular field.
  12. They really have given up and are just writing any old b0ll0cks.
  13. Gets his fan of the season award today. Congratulations Westy. https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/westy-named-michelle-dack-fan-of-the-season
  14. In a recent episode of The Rest is Entertainment podcast Richard Oasman revealed that he had been given analysis of which TV programme most reflects the way people vote based on who watches it, the analysis was done using the 2019 election. The answer was Question Time.
  15. If Coventry win that poor woman will have to run a marathon on the day of the final.
  16. I once flew home from holiday in Zante, got the coach from London and then went to the match. This Coventry fan is going to run the London Marathon and then go to Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final.
  17. Bunch of do gooder lefty lawyers hiding behind the ECHR.
  18. I've already had my email from Zoe, I've got a ticket for me and my children.
  19. Is it possible that a seat may become avalible if someone doesn't renew? The club will know when the deadline expires so contact them again shortly after the deadline.
  20. This all may be true but one of her neighbours told a Tory politician that she put her bins out on the wrong day and he's written to GMP demanding a SWAT team descend on her.
  21. The OP says that we were offered the minimum possible as there was significant demand from home supporters.
  22. Maybe you're being too harsh. This poor bloke's only been on circa £80k plus very generous expenses for 14 years, how was he to know that it would be prudent to put away some cash for that 'rainy day/kidnapped by some wrong uns' moment we're all likely to encounter.
