1. Isn''t Matthew Upson from Diss? I''d have him in at centre back... Possibly Danny Mills as well although I say that through gritted teeth as I''m not a huge fan.
2. Mine was away fans (Hibs I think...) in a scottish match against Rangers just after Andy Goram got diagnosed with mild schizophrenia singing: ''two Andy Gorams, there''s only two Andy Gorams''
3. Has anyone listened to it? What a weird interview. It''s done over the phone, but the questions are very tame and Ched sounds like he''s opening and shutting draws, then in a wind tunnel, then eating his dinner and talking with his mouth full. Very amusing! Not that I care a hoot (especially if he bangs a few goals in).
4. Does Camera play international football (Guinea maybe...) and if so, will he be going away for the African nations? I know his loan will be over by then but if he''s any good and we want to keep him on.... Just a thought.
5. http://www.canaries.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1172887,00.html   I was thinking about us signing him last night after watching his hat-trick for Wales U21''s...
6. Well, I can tell you it''s not Quashie. He and I happen to have a mutual mate. I got them to ask him and he said it was ''news to him'' and hadn''t even heard anything from Norwich but is considering moves to ''bigger clubs'' one of which is one of the old firm two... Not sure who the others are but if it''s a choice between us and Rangers or Celtic, I can guess where he''ll be going...
7. I was one of those people sat outside on the road, I can remember someone letting the police van''s tyres down while 300 people made hissing sounds to mask it. That was funny. As for the horses, my mate got rushed by one, then pinned against an advertising hoarding by it. He was so scared he punched the horse. Poor Horse!
8. They were saying on sky sports news this week, that Bournemouth are so thin on the ground that Rob Newman is due to be on the bench this weekend for the second time this season. He''s 42! With the size he was when he was here, I''m suprised he hasn''t ballooned al la Neil Ruddock. I remember seeing him tucking into mixed grills and guiness in the pub in Bawburgh. Mind you I''ll remember his chip into the box which led to Gossy''s goal away at Bayern Munic fondly...
9. You can find out what all players since the 80''s are up to here: http://www.ex-canaries.co.uk/
10. Yeah, it was a groin injury that ended his career I think. There''s a news item on canaries world about it, he was struggling to even get through 20mins off the bench with pain killing injections. I''m sure we don''t really want to pin survival hopes on someone who hasn''t trained (even while coaching apparently) for over a year and can''t make 20mins when he had been training. Shame though, we could use someone of his ilk just now.
11. No. I''m fairly sure he left before Worthy! I think he works at the FA now. I''ve seen him at a couple of premier league games...
12. Haha. What a classic post. I nearly spat tea all over the computer. Partly out of shock (but mostly out of hilarity).
13. Please don''t talk him up. I had noticed his absence, but was enjoying it so much, I daren''t mention it incase he read it and started posting again.
14. If he has gone I''d say that''s a lucky escape for you. I have no idea why Bolton would want him!
15. Good post ncfcfaithful! Surely even Cluck, Wiz and Smudger don''t want us to lose against Ipsh*t do they? Hmm.. Not so sure. It seems to me that if you disagree with some people on this board you are therefore either a) a binner b) a school kid or c) a member of the board. I suppose they could be joking, and if that is the case, you have to admit, it is really really funny. So funny, that sometimes I can''t sleep for days and days because of the hysterics that I get.
16. For some unkown reason I am the ultimate NCFC optomist. Every season I think ''we''re going to go/stay up this year'' ''it''ll be a great season'' etc etc. Every single year, I go through this stupid naieve routine of getting my hopes up even though I am usually way out. I just can''t help it. Love is blind. So, in the way that I do, I believe that we may be on the verge of getting a decent manager in. Now, Doncaster and the rest of them are stupid, but to publically announce on more than one occasion that we have such a high pedigree of applicants and then appoint a cheap option or an uninspiring manager would be a spectacular own goal even for them. It would rate up there with Lee Dixon''s chip over David Seaman form near the halfway line. At the end of the day, you reap what you sew. The season we got relegated from the Prem (not the last time) we had bought a few players from clubs that had just been relegated (Milligan etc), the season we got promoted we brought in three Prem players (Hucks, Crouch, Haper) and played like a prem side. This season we''ve brought in a lot of Scottish also rans and journeymen and are playing as such. I know it''s not that simple, but you get my gist.  So come on Doncaster and board. You have a chance to start to make amends. If you don''t appoint a manager that will inspire and  galvanise this squad and the fans, then you simply don''t deserve our support.
17. I could be wrong here but I''m sure I read something recently about John Terry sorting a deal out in which the players give all their England appearance money away to charity... Can anyone confirm this?
18. Well. They didn''t and I take particular exception to being called a liar. You''re probably one of those posters who looks for arguments out of nothing and I''m not going to humour you. What would I gain from lying? the respect of fools like you? Hardly. Respond if you like. I won''t be answering. I don''t need to lower myself to this.
19. I''ve never bet on anything. I went into two bookies (Colman Rd and Unthank Rd) and asked if I could bet on him and they all said no. I looked at a couple of online sites but he wasn''t on there either. It''s really not rocket science, I was gutted because I would have got decent odds on him if he wasn''t even listed and therefore would have won money if I''d have got a bet on. Why the hell would I lie about something like that? Think before you type...
20. Smudger. Who would you like to see in the post? Nail your flag to the mast for us.
21. I''m not sure about Delia ''falling for Grant''s smooth talk''. Grant was the only person that was approached for the job rather than submitting an application. I know this as one of the West Ham players told me. I tried to get money on Grant to be our new manager before any bookies had him listed! Gutted! It may, I guess, have been the case that he smooth talked her once they met, but if they approached him, and only him, they must have had a fair idea that they were going to give him the job. I completely agree with the rest of your comments (although even though we are not good enough for the prem, I''d be mad to say that I wouldn''t want us to get promoted, even if we got stuffed for a year, the money would be more than welcome!)
22. A well argued and articulate response BarclayEndBoy. How refreshing and welcome it is too. I find myself in no man''s land myself... I''ve supported Grant up until last night... I''m now on the turn. I wish and hope he can turn it around, but at this exact moment in time, I''m not sure I can see it happen, and am starting to think that perhaps a change is needed. I feel the board genuinely are trying their best, (as is Grant I guess) and shouldn''t be at the end of this torrent of abuse.  However, it will take something drastic before I want my team to lose. It just doesn''t sit right in my heart to ever want them to do anything other than win. If a Chelsea or Man Utd fans stayed away from games when things weren''t going so well they''d be labelled ''glory hunters'' or ''fair weather supporters''. We never exactly have ''glory'' in the way that they do, but this looks to me like a Norwich City sized version of that.
23.
If I would like a free ticket for tomorrow.... what a laugh!!!! Told him "NO THANKS".... says it all about the club that it stinks so much at the moment that I am not willing to walk 10mins down the road to watch a game with my Dad for the first time in about 15years. Told him "that I would not enjoy it so there was little point in me going really" What a laugh they can''t even give tickets away nowadays can they???? I will be itching for a Scunthorpe win tomorrow night to heap more pressure on our clueless board and those who have backed them over the last few years....  C''mon Scunthorpe!!!
I never reply to Smudger''s drivel but thos was to good to miss. ''10 minute walk'' haha, that''ll be 5 min walk from Portakabin Road to Ipsh*t station and a 5 min walk from Norwich station to Carrow Road then will it?
24.
Quote ''Enough said then, cos a lot of us do go to every game, and therefore are perhaps better qualified to comment''. Totally disagree! I have sat next to people at carrow road who attend everygame and have sat in the same seat for 20 odd years and they dont even know what day it is! So would they be better qualified to comment ? Surely a good understanding of the game, whether it be premiership or sunday league gets the nod over some people whether they go to every game or not? Take the X Factor for instance...........A drippy git who has had singing lessons and quite clearly been ripped off by his or her teacher for years on end.....we know that he cant sing, the judges know it,but the only person who thinks he can sing is himself! There are many football fans out there who think they know everything but infact know diddly squit!
I couldn''t agree more two sheds. There is often a snobbery of sorts on this board in the comments you hear over and over again. ie. "I know better because I a) have been supporting Norwich longer than you (and will drop names of old players at any opportunity to press this point). b) I live in Norwich/Norfolk so am a real fan or c) I go to more games than you so know better than you". Well, I''m young(ish) at 27,  and I don''t live in Norwich any more and play semi pro football so therefore can''t get to many games, yet I feel I have a right to my opinion, and belive in its validity despite the above. I also think that everyone has an opinion and is welcome to it, but shouldn''t ''rubbish'' everyone else''s. I know long term (old) season ticket holders who talk absolute drivel about the game. I''m sure we all do! For what it''s worth, I''m with Cundyno1 on this one. OTBC
25. I''m also too young to remember him, but am aware of his record and have read about him. My condolences go to his family. Thanks for the goals. We8wba, you''ve annoyed me. I hate Wolves with a passion but your arrival on here with your interest, reason and politeness has softened that hatred that I enjoyed so much. Good to have you around. ;-)
