1.
Double League Two striker swoop coming up that will see a number on here throwing themselves off the nearest cliff... for that reason alone, I am fully behind it. Lyle Taylor from AFC Wimbledon (and a Monserrat international) and Matty Taylor from Bristol Rovers - top football league goalscorer last season. Total fee 3m for the pair. Probably a punt that one will work out in time to salvage our season. Lyle is 6''2 and a part time model, ladies. Matty scores when he wants. He is ugly though. Good scapegoat material.. Enjoy!
Ha. I used to live with a lad that played international footie for Monserrat. To put it in to perspective, I played first team football for our university and he played third team. He used to get flown business class to games while he was a poor student. I think they lost 14-0 on his debut. Ruel Fox was one of the coaches. He was a bit star struck by playing with their star man, Tess Bramble, Titus'' brother.
2. We were starting to get a bit of joy on the right wing through Pinto just before HT. I guess AN wanted to try and keep that threat. Whittaker is much better than RM going forward and was involved in a fair few goals last time we were in the Chumps. But of course you do take a risk from a defense point of view by playing him over Martin. RM would have been a safer option, but I think AN felt it was worth the risk.

4.
I am a season ticket holder who didn''t boo on Saturday, I just didn''t applaud either, perhaps a more balanced approach - silence. But you can''t do this alone. I am taking this to the point of not using our three tickets tonignt I guess the booer''s were just disappointed with the game and result. Realistic or otherwise, the media built up expectations which the team didn''t produce. Plus the continued non-appearance of a striker, which the team aren''t responsible for.
Hi John, While I appreciate you are entitled to do what you feel is right, and it sounds like you are ''protesting'' in a sensible manner, I''m not entirely sure what you are protesting... You say that the media built up expectations that the team didn''t produce... Maybe you should be boycotting the media then. Are you really protesting about one poor performance by not going to the following game? Especially seeing as though the game before we won 4-1 away from home to win on the opening day of the season for the first time in 14 years. As for the lack of a striker coming in, the transfer window is still open, and I''m sure everyone is busting a gut to try and get a couple of goalscorers into the club. If we still haven''t managed that at the end of the window then it might make more sense to show your anger through protest, but after 4 points from 6 six games, it seems daft. We''re all getting frustrated by the lack of a striker coming in, but surely refusing to go to a game during the transfer window is jumping the gun? Also, while it''s a decent thing to do to give your tickets back to the club for resale to other fans, this just means that the seats are likely to be filled and the only person that is aware of your protest will be one person in the ticket office... I truly respect your freedom of choice and your right to your own opinion, I''m just baffled by your reasoning...
5. I signed up and have heard nothing at all. I don''t know why I''m surprised really. It''s Archant after all.
6. Yep. He was the ''woman'' in that photo of the pitch. Good signing,
7. I know a couple of coaches at Oxford United where he was on loan. They seemed quite excited about him when he first joined, but after a while they said that despite his physique he actually wasn''t that physical. I don''t think he started regularly for them. I never saw him play at Hamilton, but hopefully he has matured a bit and added a bit of physicality to his game, otherwise he won''t cut it in the champs. Still young though, would love to see him come good for us.
8. According to an Italian site (and we know how reliable they are) we ate in for Verona defender Filip Helander. Anyone know of him? http://www.gazzamercato.it/hellas-verona/newcastle-e-norwich-sul-veronese-helander/
9. On Feb 23 Adel Gafaiti retweeted a post that says:''If someone has something bad to say about you, it''s because they have nothing good to say about themselves''This seems somewhat ironic in light of what he went on to post about the club.
10.
I used to spit out of the window every time I drove back home through Red Lodge.
I did exactly the same thing Fuzz! Even in heavy rain I''d wind the windows down and hack up a good one.
11. I''m sure that in AN''s first ever interview on the offy site, the interviewer asked ''is it Alex or Alec?''. AN said ''Alex is fine'' and the interviewer went on to call him Alec. He must have misheard. I wonder if this is where it stemmed from?
12.
Liability last time we were in the Champs , hope he will only be a bench warmer next season but its Norwich so he will almost certainly be centre half and captain .
Wasn''t he in the team of the season last time we were in the Champs?
13. I live in Oxford, and often end up going to away games in the Midlands on my own as I don''t know any City fans around here. I''d be up for meeting up for some of these games if you''re going.
14. A couple of Everton fans I know said that Naismith was woeful in his first year, but can''t good in year two. So there''s still hope yet I guess...
15. This board in a nutshell. Player has a bad game: ''boooooooooo'' Player has a good game: ''booooooooooo''
16. It''s a typo. They are having a relation party. And by party, they mean orgy.
17. Showing themselves to be the scum bags they are, throwing bottles at the Man U team bus. I''ve had the misfortune of visiting the Boleyn many times, and my main experiences of that place were racism, sexism and homophobia. I for one won''t be sad to see it gone. Having said that, the bigotry will just move with them to the Olympic Stadium. I''m so glad our taxes went towards gifting them that stadium.
18. If he played any more games he would have triggered an automatic one year extension on his contract and JFH has to get the wake him down, which is why he hasn''t played.
19. I''ve just found the entire 1989 Norwich City Christmas video on Youtube. A cracking watch for those of us old enough to remember those days. Great to see players interviewed before the days of media training, all very awkward but candid. Some shots of the car park at Trowse too. No Bentleys or Land Rovers there, just Robert Rosario driving away in a Peugeot 309. Well worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBJMvPKLSgc
20. Anyone found a decent stream for today''s game? I usually use cricfree but it''s not up to its usual standards today.
21. He also provided a lot of support for Brady yesterday. I can''t think of many times this season when the left midfielder has got back to help out that much.
22.
Splendid, It''s called Dominant Thought Theory (as explained in another post). An example would be, let''s say you had broken your arm and it was in plaster, you would notice a lot more pastercasts than normal, in fact you may even think there were more people with broken bones than normal, when in fact there isn''t, you are just noticing them because plaster casts are a dominant thought, hence the saying be careful what you wish for. Same applies if you buy a new car, suddenly there are so many more of your model and colour of choice on our roads!
Hi Ray,Fair comment. I read your other post about it and agree with what you say. I''m probably actively looking for it and don''t see the times they track the runners. Although there definitely are times they don''t too!
