Been our best player for years yet some of our idiot crowd moan constantly because he doesn''t play 50 yard passes all over the pitch, if I had a pound for every time some nob in the snakepit shouted out "sideways tettey" I wouldn''t have to work. Since his arrival whenever he''s not in the team we look much worse defensively, even the dumbest football fan should realise how important he is in the roll he plays, I just hope when Godfrey gets blooded in next season the crowd don''t start giving him grief because he''s not as instantly affective.

Where Does Maddison Rate?
DDD In The Fine City replied to ?'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
There''s a great YouTube video of him from a young age, shows how much hard work he''s put in to get to where he is now, the fact he stays late after training most days to practice free kicks says a lot, if he bulks up a bit there''s no reason he can''t go to the very top. -
Who said that badger? Looking forward to going into administration to gain revenge?

Didn''t vrancic have 4th highest assists in German top flight? -
And I thought prices were inflated in January? And teams can''t afford young English players, or thats what we''ve always been told Haha The fact is until this transfer went through we couldn''t sign the right back or anyone else as Delia and co wouldn''t dare dip into their own pockets to help the club they apparently love, this is the start you wait till the summer where any player with value will be offered around at knockdown prices then replaced with the likes of the crap that has us struggling near the bottom of the championship, but at least we''ve got Naisy, Jarvis and Russell Martin for another season yay!

The points system was announced before the game was picked for tv, like said there was a bit of unhappiness after the arsenal game as it was a free for all, hats off to the club for making sure that wouldn''t be the case again but I''d be surprised if some didn''t go on general sale now its picked for tv

Probably part of the reason I liked him so much, when playing I used to roll my socks down like he did many a time, must have looked like a right strange kid -

Southampton? One of my first games I can remember And molly an aerial duel is only that if two people go for the ball, Morison was allowed to flick on all day unchallenged -

Sounds like you had a great day which is awesome, looked a few times at getting the package for my father for his birthday but been a bit put off with the price and previous experiences of other hospitality packages at the club being very hit and miss . I''ve found that when the club isn''t doing so well the day out seems to be of a much better quality, in the premier league a few years ago we sat in the huckerby club thing and felt pushed out in the corner of the room at a table near the entrance while company sponsors were right in the action, last to get food, barely able to hear the people being interviewed and at £200 a ticket very poor value for money, in contrast while in league one we were in top of the terrace and had a great day, meal was good and waited on hand and foot, no complaints except for being behind glass to watch the game which ruined any atmosphere, my company currently has tickets in top of the terrace so I''ve been once again this year and found the quality seems to have dropped since the last visit and it seemed more about how many tables they could cram in the room and how quick the could get you to finish your meal so their job would be easier (tried to get us eating before half of the table had even arrived) but they have tried to address the atmosphere by playing in crowd noise. One of the best experiences was at a under 23''s game where for £20 per person we had a two course meal in delias and a seat for the game in the directors box after a look at the trophy cabinet with a steward more than happy to explain what every cup was and even a story behind the team and games involved, it was a cold evening so even blankets were offered around (thought this was only allowed in the river end). In contrast my step father supports one of the oil rich premier league clubs so have also been to hospitality there a few times, the price is vastly cheaper but thats expected with who they are but also there doesn''t seem to be the overselling that the club needs to do when we''re doing well, as good as the meal is tho I''ve got no interest in what happens on the pitch except for a game when we played them when I treated the home crowd to a one man pozman when Steve Morison scored to make it 3-1 to them. Thanks for the info, might look at booking it for the old man while we don''t look so good on the pitch. 👍 -

Morris is lacking one thing essential for a target man, being good in the air -

Rubbish, I loved Robert Rosario he was one of my favourite players and is also worth noting he was in a team challenging at the top of the football league, Morris is playing in the third tier -

Harry Kane was 3 years younger when here on loan, when he was Carlton''s age he scored 21 premier league goals in 34 games, Carlton has scored 4 goals in 23 appearances this season playing for a team near the top of league 1, if you think there is any comparisons other than they both wear a football kit for their job you need your head looking at, there is only two and half years difference in age, Just like the Murphy boys our fans talk about Morris like he''s still a kid, he''s 22 now so I''d be inclined to say he''s just about found his level, this could change of course but highly unlikely. -

Godfrey deservedly motm, the most important thing for him is playing first team football week in week out, he''s developing so quick and I wouldn''t want that stifled by sitting on the bench behind tettey and trybull playing every now and again. Thought Carlton played ok, held the ball up quite well with his strength but isn''t the most mobile player, could do with being 6 inches taller really, be surprised if much of his career is played higher than league 1 level. -
This might also have something to do with why he might be suitable for a role at the club http://www.russellmartinfoundation.co.uk/ Be surprised if the link works so someone might be able to make it clicky

Didn''t realise he had LDC, still irrelevant as he wants to carry on playing as long as he can so hardly likely to get a job with us
-
Did think about sharing with Lyndsey but the games I''ll miss will probably be us both missing because of other things, been keeping a eye around where I sit and how easy it would to get tickets and surprisingly there are plenty (at the moment, form and results could change that) so think I''d get one on my row 75% of games, should only be for a few seasons then might look at getting seats with a better view, bet he was in there in his 3 seasons ago Chelsea shirt looking like a plastic haha

On the tele box this afternoon Hopefully might get a chance to see Ben Godfrey, Carlton Morris and Ebou Adams in action 13:40 on the Beeb 👍

We have an option of a year extension on trybull anyway so wouldn''t expect him to be going anywhere -
Russell Martin has done most of his coaching badges and grant holt hasn''t, when you give someone a job as coach it''s best to make sure they have the correct qualifications to do the job

Ah right my old mans mate Tony said he was watching from the same pub as you, must have been mistaken. Pain in the ass missing games through work, I''d normally book a days holiday but after the disappointing displays this season I''m not going to next year, unfortunately work has to come first and working odd hours is part of the reason I''m going to cancel and buy casual tickets, might even save a few quid as the club has started selling them cheaper than our loyal season ticket holders pay
