1.
The Norwich Ninja? Yet later in the story they say he comes from Suffolk! Good old Daily Mail
Comes from Suffolk/lives in Norwich?..it could happen, you never know, you never never know.
 2. HEY! don''t for one moment think I''d buy or read that rag or any of the other scumbag papers...its when you''re the only Norwich lad in your Cockney-ville workplace you get the "ear, did yuw ear abart dat nowwich ninjar"... ...so I passed it on. Only trying to lighten the day chaps. I think its SD-Pete BTW
 3.
Isn''t Smudger involved in publishing?
...mmm? and he hasn''t been around much lately!
 4. ...The Norwich Ninja? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1348498/Meet-ninja-Norwich-Humble-publishing-clerk-day-fearsome-warrior-night.html
 5.
its a bit underwhelming really but worse than that is the fact that hes been disrespectful about the club before
Arr! the old "thinking players are like fans" mistake. He said THAT back then to be a hero at Colwho...he''d have changed his tune the moment his agent (the one with the calculator) told him what his signing on fee is. I''ll wait for the "I cant wait to play against the scum" line around April. Signing Wes for another 3 years was "going for it" enough for me...the rest is a bonus. Have faith in our current squad chaps. In Lambert we trust (again)... I know I do.
 6. i prefer your thread...you can delete mine now please.
 7. I''ve said it before...we could have had jason puncheon instead of macca. time will tell but so far i''m not convinced either.
 8. I''m not usually "anti FA cup" but solely because of where we are in the league and the limited squad options and injuries we have I''m not fussed at all that we are out. Leeds and Cardiff have both got replays and Reading, Swansea, Forest, Burnley and Watford have another game to get excited/distracted/disappointed about. Lambert has proved he is the master of picking the lads up after a defeat so lets get these chins up and look forward to the Cardiff game. QPR and us to go up - there - I''ve said it now. (still only a hunch...but what the hell).
 9. ...hahaha... (although I''m sure some of the idiots on here will have similar reactionary comments). ...seriously...I couldn''t give a monkies we are out of the cup as we''ve got a few injuries in a small squad and have much bigger fish to fry.
 10. perfectly put fella...I''m with you Coelho...there are some absolute idiots on here attempting to 2nd guess. I''m taking a PUB (pink ''un break)
 11.
barcelona have offered us £20 million plus lionel messi for him, but we turned it down
...if it was 23 mil we should take it to zero the debt. gotta be pound sterling mind you, none of that moody hureo''s!
 12.
I listened to 606 on the way back on Sat, and we didn''t get a mention that I heard - of course Leeds did, but then they were apparently ''the team of the year'' (a team that threw a large lead to surrender "their" title to us, and were then the huge amount of 1pt ahead as at the end of 2010 (us having a game in hand)....
don''t be so cynical BP...we got at least 10 seconds coverage today! What more do you want man?
 13. great news! I would have defo kicked the cat if Wes would have been sold. I somehow think that (a little bit) he feels like he missed out on some top flight fun with Blackpool (et al D.Russell and Stoke) so wouldn''t want to make the same mistake twice. best quote of the week... adel taarabt wears grant holt pyjamas in bed and he sucks his thumb and calls it "little wes"
 14.

Every game I watch lately Chris Martin seems to put very little effort in. I watch Grant Holt lose the ball, but he goes straight back in again to try and retrieve the situation. Holt is always closing defenders down and does not give them a minutes peace. On the other hand Martin strolls around and very rarely closes any defender down. Whenever he loses the ball he just stands still and shrugs his shoulder, but never attempts to win it back, which I find very frustrating. When he does try to get stuck in he invariably gives away a free kick in a dangerous position. He can get away with this when he is putting the ball in the net, because there is no doubt he is a good finisher, but yesterday he had two clear cut chances to finish the game off, but failed both times. Maybe Lambert should give him a rest and play Jackson alongside Holt and Wilbraham.
No you are not the only one who thinks CM is lazy...there are other people who seem to have limited knowledge of football that watch city too. I''d like to think I''m not in your gang as I think he''s the best young player we have at the club and I don''t get confused with body language and the odd tantrum/"lad" attitude as opposed to a lack of effort. He''s a class act in my book and will only get better.
You are entitled to your opinion like the rest of us. I have been watching Norwich since 1959 and have seen a lot of strikers in that time and quite frankly I stick to my original post that I think he is lazy. I cannot see any Premiership side coming in for Martin in the transfer window, but good luck to him if one does.
Did I say a prem club would/should come in for him then? I think not. I did say that he is our best young player we have , and I still believe that. Re "been watching city since 59"....blah blah blah...well done for being old. (my two granddad''s both watched city from the 30''s onwards, one of them knew the game inside out and taught me loads....I''m not sure the other one had a clue even though even after 60 year bless his soul...so experience means nothing if you haven''t got a clue in the first place). ...so the "50 years man and boy" line doest rub with me Mr S Fox.

 18.
This is the first time for ages (even with our numerous player injuries) I genuinely don''t mind who is selected because we are playing as a total team. It''s fantastic to have such belief and confidence in what we are likely to achieve. The attitude of our players is noticeably different to those at most other clubs; individually and collectively I think our players know full well they are part of something potentially really special here at the moment...
19.
only 2 defensive/defensive midfield players and 1 winger and 3 strikers on the bench? I cant see that. I can see OTJ getting the nod for Johnson. Lord Lambert knows how fit Zac is so will make decision late I''d guess. I agree with you CJ on Lappin coming back in as even though we were fantastic against QPR it would be a bit brave to be that attack minded away from home.
oooppps...thats was in reply to this thread... GK - Ruddy DR - R.Martin DC - Barnett DC - Nelson DL - Drury DM - Crofts ML - Lappin MR - Smith AM - Hoolahan S - Martin S - Holt Subs: Rudd, Whitbread, Gill, McNamee, Jackson, Wilbraham, Johnson

 21. yep, Holt better beware as he may get the odd 50/50 go against him in the next few games...but you can''t teach a player like him to stop playing the way he does can you? Its brilliant isnt it? BTW - I''m prob on my own here, but I like warnock...a proper football man who played the game, then ended up managing teams who play the game... ...i think you can say the same thing about warnock as zak123 said about our Holt.
 22. great report...highlighting the good and the bad which needs to be done at city. (CM''s finishing did seems poor today even though I still value him as the best at the club).
 23. ...just heard from a millwall pal that morrison has been sold to fulham for 3m (although jackets has denied it)...so millwall aint "going for it" if that is true. decent player but one lazy bas**ad!
