Match of the day

And jolly glad I am too. I know we are rural folk , but with hot and cold running water , and a comprehensive sewage system , there really is no excuse for such behaviour. š½ -
The idea that fans can force a majority shareholder (s) out is cloud cuckoo , Pig. The only way is to buy them out . And that is only if they wanted to sell, which they do not. Fans could lay siege to Carrow Road for the rest of time , and Delia wouldnāt sell. History suggests that we have a stable club that is well run. Iām happy with that side of things however 13 successive defeats suggests that we donāt have the players to stay up. We donāt have the players because we canāt attract players here with relegation provision and a limited war chest. Our style of play wins the the Championship by miles but doesnāt work so well against Prem sides. This seems obvious to me already but if the management decide they cannot change a system then what can anyone do? It could be too ingrained in the players . Watching Max and Williams playing so high yesterday at times looked like suicidal football to me . But Iām a canary that sits shivering with nerves and fear when I watch so there isnāt much I can do , and I aināt going anywhere.

Complete cobblers isnāt it? At no point in any universe was it anything other than a stonewall pen. -
General Thoughts - How Do We Feel Right Now
Graham Paddons Beard replied to JB's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think Farke and Webber know what they need. They just cannot attract the players. āCome and play for Norwich. We are favourites for relegation and will insist on a relegation clause ā. Our targets are also the targets of other clubs. We are not alone in employing data , European contacts and generic scouting networks . Everyone knows our defensive set up isnāt premier league quality . What we do about it isnāt quite so easy. -

Slightly OT BBC are between a rock and a hard place. They know their MOTD audience is still white and male , and of a particular era. I doubt anyone under 30 sees MOTD as a go to source of football insight . So they stick with Shearer et al. Shearer is painful to watch. A dinosaur from a period which is mostly irrelevant. It needs a massive change in format . The idea that you watch 5 mins of a game then spend 5 mins padding talking about it (when everyone knows they havenāt watched every game) is guff. -
Q&A With Jez Moxey & Simon Jordan
Graham Paddons Beard replied to True Grit's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Heās got his golf clubs , trolley , and extra shopping in there too. No bother . āThere's a total of 504 litres below the parcel shelf of the Qashqai ā almost but not quite as much luggage space as you get in the Ateca and Karoqā Whatcar.com -

Iām not surprised. Very generous boot space. TG should be rightly proud . -

I would ask Simon for his comments on the relegation dog fight in Div 3. Simon may not have the experience , nor indeed most posters on here , as you would need to be a hopelessly bad team to be involved , but any light to be shone would be welcome . Perhaps counsel could be taken from some Div 3 clubs not involved in the dog fight - huge clubs such as Morecambe, Wycombe and Accrington Stanley . -

Can only assume youāve been on the sauce . āThat penalty was easy to see from a fan's perspective in the stand as it's easy to see their feet relative to the ball as the ball is clearly in front. If you're a few feet above it as well, then double it.ā is a spectacular use of words that in some parallel universe may make sense šš¤£ Probably best to just finish off the bootle, Old Friend , and go and sleep it off . (it was as stone wall as you will see all season) -

No it isnāt . I got it right from a lot further away than the ref. Iāve seen it once . So did everyone else Iāve spoken to. From all four corners of the ground . -

For the record I thought Jones looked like a rabbit in headlights . Overruled by the linesman in two throw ins in the first half , which was extraordinary. The pen was stonewall but he dare not give the decision (until made to do so by VAR) . Reffed the percentages . Managed to get the āget to your feetā signal quota on Williams but not on Maddison . This is a direct instruction from POGMOL following the Euros by the way. Wonāt see him doing big games for a while . Will do as many chumps as prem . Long way for him to go. -

If Ben Pearson is the answer , I have no idea what the question is . -
Iām afraid today Leicester were not the best of anything . They were poor . Gifted two goals by losing the ball in the wrong areas. Decent enough finishes but they wonāt be given that many chances by most Prem Sides - and they were weakened by injury at the back. Leicester took two chances , we spurned two chances (Sargent and Idah) . Games like today are crucial to get points to stay up.

Stop press . Rochdale bag an equaliser and Col U slip to mid table . The old Binners will feel nicely at home .
