  1. BTW he is earning good money 5-6K per week so I''m sure yours would only be a contribution!
  2. Not my favourite player but I think given some half decent service into his feet he will still score from 6  yards. He''s no Mark Robbins but he could do a job for you.
  3. For goodness sake just ignore him. A tired old hack talking C**p. Imagine if not one of you had responded (not even babana. Jas the barclay Knob or those celebrating 5 million posts in a week) he would go away and play somewhere else.
  4. But where is the fine fellow? Not lost in Walsall I hope!
  5. Claridge will always have a special place in my heart, for it was he that scored the winner for Cambridge against the Binners, as my mate and I stood silently in amongst the Heathen Swine in the Scum side of the North Stand having gone in the wrong entrance...City didn''t have a game that day and about 2000 mystery CUFC fans turned up (on the train from Norwich as it happens)
  6. Yup that''s him. Mr Bean. Last time I saw him he had a Turkey stuck on his head.
  7. Someone suggested last night that these two will miss Walsall? Anyone know?
  8. Well I thought it was funny. Almost as funny as his performance...what a tool.
  9. Simon I think it is time to simply ignore these purile ramblings. The OP is about a third rate (at best) footballer saying he doesnt want to play for a larger club. Good luck to him. We now find ourselves arguing with some sort of Billy Liar character about knocking on a bedroom door. Imagine if Camel actually has a wife? It''s her we should feel sorry for. Let''s have a whip round and buy her some chocolates. Or a single airline ticket to Bolivia.
  10. He was one of the shaven headed full backs that didn''t get near a City player all afternoon as far as I can remember. Well not until he Kung Fu kicked Wesley. I think we can live without him.
  11. lived in Brighton when at Uni. London by the Sea. Absolutely cracking place. Was looking forward to going to the game with my son, but 750 tickets? Are you sure this is all we are getting? What a pain.
  12. blahblahblah wrote the following post at 20/01/2010 5:20 PM:I''m sure that Mr Doncaster is a competent administrator, but PT Barnum he is not.  This is the sound of someone horribly out of his depth. Agree Blah x 3. Interesting how the good things that happened at City (season ticket sales) are now "We". Presumably relegation, massive debt and ludicrous management appointments don''t fall into this catagory.
  13. I am a qualified Ref Cam. God Bless I.S. for actually getting the point of the post. My father is an assessor. Thanks for the advice.
  14. At the time this was attributed to Andrew Cullen the then FD , who was the brains behind the changes in sending renewal notices out to season ticket holders ie when we were doing well. Don''t think Donkey had much to do with it.
  15. Hasn''t anyone read my bit about the ref being MIKE DEAN? The same ref that made Frank Lampard retake the pen against West Ham WAS THE REF ON SATURDAY. Sorry but thought it was an interesting point. I should have talked about make-believe offside shouts ...would have got a bigger reaction . Or called the original poster a C***.
  16. Aside from all of the arguing, the original post is suggesting, and is correct having watched the replay, that a Colchester defender is encrouching in the box BEFORE Wes kicks the ball , and as the pen is missed it should be retaken. Recently Frank Lampard was made to take a penalty three times due to this, for Chelsea against West Ham. And guess who the referee was? A certain Mr Mike Dean.....

  18. Wasn''t the Churchmans stand where all the old ladies sat? I think it is mainly empty now along with most of the ground. The hard end is the North Stand. I only know this because I remember us running it one Boxing Day. Happy Memories.
  19. cityangel Dont think he goes to many of their home games anyway as he said he often works at weekends. I think he is "Working Late" tonight Angel.
