1. It will be tough for him to get into the team with Wes and Chadwick ahead of him. Roeder likes to play three midfielders and one winger.
2. If you work out the average points total since Roeder took over NCFC we would have 65 points and ended up in 10th place, 5 points off the play-offs. Now we have to wait for the summer when Glenn starts the biggest rebuilding process since Michael Jackson''s surgeon last did a job on his nose.   ps, In some ways I prefer it that we have had an exciting season which ended well rather than mid-table mediocrity
3. I wonder which two points they will be most gutted to have thrown away?????? I look forward to getting our revenge next season.
4. Football is a tough business. We don''t know what has happened behind the scenes (for instance he might not be interested in staying) but paying him another year at his current wage is not value for money. The interests of the club always preceed the interests of an individual. Ps, He is not a servant. He was a great player who got well rewarded for his efforts.
5. Even though we lost we had a good weekend results wise. Leicester, Sheff Wed and Cov still need 4 points to overtake us and I would say tougher fixtures.   I think 52 points will be enough, but another home win would be nicely.
6. He has been ok for us this season but he is not the type of player who will turn us into promotion challengers. If we have serious aspirations to reach the Premier league then we need a better goal scorer. I want him to stay next year but really have to fight for his starting place, not know that he can walk into the team every week.
7. I cant believe the amount of negative and critical comments about Roeders critical and negative comments. Pot... kettle... black Different players need different treatment. The only way to judge a manager is by his results and so far Roeder has earnt the 100% support of the fans.
8. As I was feeling a bit nervous I went through the bottom 7s fixture (minus Col and Scunny as they are already down) and tried to work out the amount of points each team will accumulate. I have us getting 10 points (home wins against Col, Burnley, QPR and draw away v Sheff Wed) and staying up. Here is what the bottom of table might look like (mind you I have no mystical powers of predeiction and am rubbish at gambling!) Barnsley  58 Sheff Wed 57 Norwich  56 Preston 55 Cov    55 Leicester 54 ----------------- Southampton 51 Scunny Col
9. Take it easy dude. Keep your wig on  Im still a Roeder fan. Losing away is not a new experiance for a Norwich fan. We didn''t win much on the road even when we were good! We will achieve our short term aim and stay up this season and then lets see how he does at rebuilding for the long term. I have been very impressed about how he transformed the squad in a couple weeks so I am confident he will do well building a squad which will challenge for promotion.
10. £1 million… £10 million…  £4.2 million…. Who really knows?   Rather than the amount it is more important how we spend it. Looking at how Glenn has used the funds available to him so far I am confident he will make NCFC a much better team next year. He has almost achieved his aim for this season and I think he will come close to play-offs next campaign.   Some people might be complaining about the amount of loans he got in but his number one concern was to get the players in quickly who could change our fortunes.
11. For whatever reason over the last 6 – 7 years the Norwich City academy has not produced one player of note, apart from maybe Shackell (and my personal opinion is that he will soon become our 3rd choice centre back). Roeder is not impressed with the current bunch and would rather take 18 year olds from top Premiership clubs. The FA youth cup result does not fill me with confidence that a new crop of worthy footballers is just around the corner.   Running the academy costs money, money which could be better directed towards hovering up talent which just failed to make it at the very top level, like Patterson. It''s not the club job to run an expensive youth club.
12. Whether Taylor comes to us permanently or not could have a huge effect on our season. If he did it would be a massive vote of confidence in the manager and the club. He is easily good enough to play for a promotion chasing Champ club so if he chose us it would be because he believes we are going places.
13. Peter Grant could be classed as a ''foriegn manager''. I just want someone good. Don''t care if they come from a galaxy far far away...
14. Tried that one before and it didnt work. We have to look forwards.
15. Good player for us and should never have been let go in my opinion.  He impressed me when he played at center back a couple of times. Tall, strong, pace and distributed the ball well. If I were Grant I would be tempted to turn him into a defender.
16. Peter Grant wins the big matches. Now all he needs to do is work out how to win the rest of them. Ps, What a free kick
17. He is arrogant, rubbish and London based. West Ham fans don''t rate him at all. No thanks.
18. Lee Lee Lee Power, Lee Lee Lee Power.... what a player he could have been. What happened to him?
19. Citizen Journalist Foghorn hang your head in shame. To abuse our manager in this nasty and personal way over a POSSIBLE selection choice is disgraceful. In regards to your actual point, why not give Etubu and Fozzy a chance together???? We are not going to get relegated and we are not going to get promoted so a good use of the season would be for Grant to find out more about his players. Players who he inherited from someone else. Don''t forget that the when Worthy first took over it was in midseason, we finished lower half of the table but he started to blood a few players like Green, McV and brought in Holt. After clearing out a lot of the deadwood in the summer we ended up in the play-off final in his first FULL season.
20. It''s quiet simple really. The atmosphere will get better when the team plays better. One follows the other.
21.
i was not to happy when delia and co appointed mr grant . but give him a chance i thought. draw at qpr ,win at birmingham, then beat cardiff  lost on pens to port vale three clean sheets i thought at least he has got something right the defence.well thats the first thing you must do stop leaking goals. then would you belive it hucks ,earnie and safri all out simple i thought --- eagle for hucks      dublin for  earnie    hughes for safri.      WRONG   hughes for hucks  WHY?  docherty for  safri    WHERE NEXT GOALKEEPER FOR  DOC? JUST A LIITLE ADVICE FOR MR GRANT WALK BEFORE YOU RUN YOU ARE TRYING TO BE TO CLEVER. AND TAKE THE BLAME WHEN YOU GET IT WRONG.
Is this a joke????  In answer to your question Why? It is because we have no-one else. While our 1st 11 could get us promoted our second level would struggle in League 1. Our squad is thin on players and on quality replacements. This is not Grants fault. ps, Stick to your origional thought of giving him a chance.
22. The thing about manangement is that you have to adapt your man management style for the individual. While I generally agree with giving an honest assesment of the game I hope he can handle the more sensitive players in an appropriate way.   When Hux came out in the second half he seemed to be in a bit of a sulk. Was it because of an injury or was it because of something that was said to him at half-time?
23. I found it funny that at the begining of the interview he says that he wants Bruce to go then a few questions later staqtes that we were wrong to get rid of Worthy because we did not give him enough time!!   Football fans.......
24. Earlier this season I read an interview with Mido (the formally porky Spurs striker) where he said it was difficulty to lose weight during a season as you have to consume a certain level of calories to be able to perform. If you start dieting you lose a lot of your energy. I didnt notice him flagging before he was taken off  around the 85 minute on Saturday.
