  1. Or a Kangaroos penis to choke to death on!.
  2. Just watched the Wales - USA game, the collisions tonight were also insane!. First time I’ve ever watched it and cannot wait for the next match.
  3. Enough to buy a decent squad able to stay up, last season and the one before that we were a Championship team playing in the wrong league.
  4. Tight budgets every season we go to the big league. It’s about time those in charge actually start spending with a vision to stay in that league once we actually get there, not set records for the most relegations from it.
  5. I’m just happy we are back to winning ways and finding our feet again. Everyone has a bad run at some point during their season and it later sometimes proves to be costly. I just hope it hasn’t cost us an automatic place with the lottery of the play offs to come!. Anyhow, I’m only coming on here to talk about Norwich, the team I support from now on, not all the rubbish going on right now on the MSM that keeps getting discussed every night. It’s bad enough seeing it on the news all the time when I get back and the better half has 5 News on. So yes, I’m staying in this section, talking about the reason why we are all here in the first place….. Norwich City!.
  6. Utterly selfish. It should be illegal to strike so many times in such short time and with Nurses, that’s the worse of the lot seeing peoples lives depend on them.
  7. Never, this country has always tried to be different from the rest of Europe like refusing the single currency, while this disaster has been on the cards since the 70s.
  8. Yeah, I’m alright jack and this latest “we are doomed” MSM craze is getting much so that’s the attitude I will have!. This latest one won’t ever hit my “doorstep” and I never had Covid, nor has the better half so far. That one won’t and neither will this. Those who died of it, my heart goes out their families and them. Its just that I’m so sick of hearing it all the time, it’s doing my mental health in and so that’s the attitude I will have and that’s the I’m Alright Jack one that’s been mentioned. Its not surprising what all the train suicides increasing these days; its the lockdown, now this and the way the MSM reported/are reporting it that are causing people to get depressed over it all.
  9. Selfish f*ckers, sack the lot of them.
  10. Biffy Clyro gigs selling out at arenas, the Taylor Hawkins tribute at Wembley seeing demand crash the servers of ticket vendors, cruise ships selling out to capacity, big six clubs selling out grounds almost every week. Skint are we?, skint my foot!. Right, off to the Lake District we go!.
  11. A. Le Coq, an Estonian beer well worth having!. Also, stay at the Raddison Blu hotel, the rooftop bar there is fantastic. Make sure it’s the one with the flags outside of it, as the other one isn’t as good. At the restaurant part, your table has a buzzer and the waitress comes to you, no waiting around for them to arrive and take your order!. The Viru hotel which is part of the shopping complex, is also another good one. Before independence it was part of the KGB and rooms would be bugged. Sportland is also a great shop and even bought an Estonia shirt there. It was from the Euro 2012 qualifying cycle, when they finished second in their group and lost to Ireland in the play-off. The head of our FA is Prince William, their’s looks like someone you would find in a rock band. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aivar_Pohlak This thread is great and positive. Staying in this one and keeping out of the depressing cost of living, Brexit “positivity” and Covid ones.
  12. Maybe I’m being a bit rash in my MSM scaremongering opinion, but at the end of the day their narrative that this country is going to be poor and expensive to live in, alongside poverty and a trashed economy when that already happened during lockdown all while “Real time pay cut”, “We are doomed”, “Brexit fallout” and “Going back to the 70s” keeps getting pedalled around, just isn’t on and is said without anything proper to back it up. They scaremongered that the inflation rate will go up to 75 percent in October….. it didn’t happen. Prices on things are only going up because of the recent pandemic borrowing, amongst other things, Brexit is the smallest of those making an impact. As for the 70s, they seem like good times to me….. quality music, quality football, quality films, kids respecting their elders…… Bring it on if so.
  13. Tallinn is FANTASTIC!!. Anyone who hasn’t been yet, go to the Old Town and the cellar restaurant, the blood sausages are just amazing.
  14. Even before I saw your post I have had a change in opinion. Sod them, nothing but selfish incompetent people who only care about themselves and money, not the future education of young people. Even the slogan of this Trade Union about education is a hypocritical joke. The better half and myself used to be friends with two teachers who used to drink in our previous local pub. Fell out with them because they were being utterly unfair and always thinking they were in the right all the time. Makes us no longer want to socialise with people from that profession. Cost of living, I’m sick of it. At least the latest MSM scaremongering story is not something that is locking us inside, confining us to Netflix alongside newspaper cartoons of the U.K. being wrapped in a padlock and chain alongside stupid virtue signalling gimmicks. I’m not letting it change how I live, I’m going to book a Eurostar trip somewhere tomorrow and also tomorrow we are going to the Lake District. Sod you MSM and up your’s Tories.
  15. Definitely switching off the TV tonight unless it’s football.
  16. I bet the word “solidarity” will be pedalled out all the time in support of them….. Still, I find these sort of strikes easy to support, not trains or postal services when they are much more heavily relied on by the public, such as people needing to get to work when they want to (unlike the strikers) and elderly people who don’t know how to use a computer to send things and only know how to post a letter.
  17. The EUs seems worse though, but I’m not blaming leaving the EU for it, it’s Tory greed and making up ridiculous taxes these past 12 years.
  18. And the games teacher in Kes pretending to be Bobby Charlton!🤣🤣🤣
  19. Copenhagen and Kraków booked up for August and December 2023!.
  20. That 3 Mobile one with the guy not able to understand these complex words on the menu and so searching for their meaning, all while cliched animations of data travelling is shown alongside what he’s typing.
  21. Nothing but legalised loopholed begging. Banned in this family it was during my childhood and the parents don’t answer the door to them. Neither do I, although one year the better half did one year while I was up in Edinburgh for a wedding.
  22. - That Vicks one that is so clearly poorly dubbed over and takes place in a courtroom where the judge sentences this guy to a “blocked nose”. - Not on anymore, but the “everything you touch turns to Skittles” one, which was stupid and poorly thought through (how didn’t the top he’s wearing turn to them when he put it on!?). - All Starling Bank ones. - Nationwide poetry, haven’t they realised nobody actually likes them!?. - Any advert referencing “The Pandemic” or the cost of living like the latest one of the above as posted by FenwayFrank (EDIT: I didn’t actually see his post when I wrote this and scrolled up only to see it after I posted!).
  23. … how about getting rid of depressing Football Focus “around the grounds” live reporting show at 3pm. Depressing as fúck when you are only hearing descriptions of the goals and have to stay up at stupid O’Clock to see them. If Spanish TV did that with La Liga, there would be a public outroar. With the money saved getting rid of that show, use it to spend on decent programmes and decent presenters. Maybe it’s that riff-raff they have on that don’t help. Match of the Day also needs a huge overhaul in its format and get rid of Lineker while they are at it.
  24. God grief!?. Him also!?….. It’s amazing how Ant McPartlin of one half of Ant and Dec was pitchforked by the public saying he shouldn’t be on TV again when he never killed anyone in his drink drive incident, only for the same country’s public to try via a petition to sack Holly and Phil just for jumping a stupid 24/7 rolling coverage line….. Yet when Leslie Grantham became famous, hardly anything was mentioned about him murdering a taxi driver in Germany while he was serving in the army. Same goes to Lee Hughes being allowed to play football again while there was no petition or public outroar about it, unlike Ant McPartlin when he didn’t kill anyone, unlike Hughes. If it was noncing or it was being attempted, then I bet the reaction would have been different. This whole thing has got me thinking. Just because in terms of Jerry Lee, you’re good at honky-tonking on a piano singing about great balls of fire, the noncing is suddenly excusable for no good reason at all. If we were to separate the art from the person, how much art would we lose?. That has also got me thinking…. it’s got me thinking that we have to compare the person with their art and see how bad their sins are, it makes their art so hard to enjoy. With Ian Watkins it’s a no brainer and would have thrown all my CDs in the bin if i was a fan, but with Jerry Lee, although it’s not as bad as there was consent, it’s still disgusting as she was an underage and it then escalated to a marriage as well as already being incest. Then taking into consideration he forced the parents to agree to the marriage and was later abusive to her, it’s just off putting while trying to enjoy his music.
  25. I find it hard to have sympathy, he married his underage cousin and also subjected her to abuse, he also forced the parents into the marriage. Its just like when James Brown died; he used to physically abuse his girlfriend senseless, but like Jerry Lee he was seen as a legend when he died. Same with Chuck Berry all despite the fact he took underage children over state lines. I bet when Steve Tyler of Aerosmith dies it will be the same outpouring of grief, all despite the fact he dated a 14 year old and got the parents to sign her guardianship over to him. Goodness gracious, great fools and liars.
