Pass on Herdman. Canada has 2or 3 very good players and they made him look better than he is. He needs to prove himself at club level, probably in MLS. He’s coached New Zealand Women, Canada Women and Canada Men. No club football experience at all unless you count helping part time at Sunderland Academy when he was a university lecturer. There are much better candidates. He could end up being a great club manager, someday.

Sargent is still behind Jesus Ferreira, 16 goals and 5 assists in 26 starts in MLS and Jordan Pefok 2 goals in 4 starts for Union Berlin. Both have performed better for USA.
