I'm in 21/22 season. Had my takeover completed last year as Delia sold up. Lots of wheeling and dealing done. Finishing 2nd and 3rd in the league. Winning the Champions League last season. Aarons, Buendia and Godfrey are briliant for me. Most important players i've bought are Haaland, Rashford and the start of this season I've just signed Van Dijk on loan, Werner and Chilwell permanently.

Yes I forgot about that, got to be a help if we are in for him at some point.

If and when we do sell Max Aarons, I would like to see us sign Matheson from Rochdale. Fits the criteria of young, hungry and lots of potential. Personally I think he could be great competition for Byram. Very composed on the ball playing out from the back, solid defending, he's quick and is a modern day full back as he is good going forward too. Thoughts on this and any other suggestions?

Not a transfer rumour but if we are to sign another CB in January the Columbian lad from Genk would be a perfect fit, Jhon Lucumi. He's tall, strong, quick and very comfortable with the ball at his feet. He's 21, just made his international debut this year. Also by the time January comes around Genk probably wont be in the Champions league or Europa league.

Just watch Sunderland till I die, then you will get your answer. Trust Webber etc to find someone if there is anyone who could do a job short term.
