1. Who is WLY? WLY is Paul Mcveigh as in ''We love you Paul Mcveigh'' However most people want to know where is WLY? He went missing some time ago to be replaced by his overweight, uninterested, hair band wearing clone. Can we have the old one back please?
2. Because you can''t appeal a yellow card, because Fifa say so! Not sure how that can be legal but they are the rules. Same problem in international tournaments but you only need two yellow cards for a suspension. No appeals.
3. I went to Blackpool on Saturday and had a pretty good day. No traffic problems, no trouble and we didn''t lose. Speaking to someone at work today and was told that towards the end of the game bricks were being thrown into the Norwich section. Certainly didn''t happen at our end. Did anybody else see anything?
4.
I WANT PLAYERS NOW, NOT NEXT TRANSFER WINDOW, NOT IN TEN YEARS TIME. NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW
Sorry but you may have to wait..... until tomorrow. I''ve been led to believe that City have agreed a fee of £1million with Celtic for Derek Riordan and are hoping he will sign tomorrow. I know this board is full of rumours most of which never come true, but lets wait and see. I certainly hope it happens.
5. By Paul Mcveigh''s standards yesterday''s performance was undeniably poor. However I thought he played better than his other recent performances and maybe looked a little fitter. Don''t get me wrong, he still doesn''t look fit but looked sharper. This guy has real talent but was dreadfully mismanaged by Worthington and it appears he is suffering from a real lack of confidence. As for his mistakes, every time he tried to create an opening but failed to make the pass he got grief from the crowd. Earnshaw makes the same mistakes every game but nobodys knocking him! If Grant can get Mcveigh to play with some of his old confidence as well as improving his fitness then NCFC have a quality player. Having the crowd on his back from 3.00 aint gonna help!
6.
Yes. You lot who weren''t making enough noise on Saturday! Apparently Alex Ferguson wrote in his programme notes for the Chelsea match today to the effect that ''The supporters had not been making enough noise recently, and that if they did not improve he would send the ballboys into the crowd to kick them on the shins and wake them up!!!!'' [Source: Sky match commentator] You have been warned! OTBC.
According to the Hull boss Peter Grant already has the ballboys working for him http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/h/hull_city/6186160.stm
7.
Etuhu should be making his mark on this game....
Maybe he would of done if he wasn''t having to carry Robinson and Hughes. Hughes is poor but at least makes an effort. Robinson is a disgrace. Week in, week out Robinsons comes along for the ride and contributes nothing. Robinson must go before Hughes - Or even better in the same taxi!
8. If you wanted to buy my house would you tell me how much money you had available before making an offer? Of course you wouldn''t. If the club were to release details of the transfer budget then we would get fleeced. Look at the inflated prices Chelsea have had to pay for players due to the fact that everyone knows that money is no object.
9.
C4E is right.. its to do wth the Cardiovascualr wrist bands they wear. I imagine its prevents them getting damaged or wet. jas :)
I think you are right about the Cardiovascular wrist bands. However I''m sure you will find that they are required to cover/tape them up under fifa rules as with rings etc.
10. Heard PG on both the press conference and TV last night. I found it much harder to understand PG on tv. He appeared to be talking much quicker, maybe nerves or the fact that the press conference was at 11.00am and I was sober and Anglia Soccer Night was on at 11.30pm when maybe I wasn''t! Either way one PG comment stood out last night. "Getting to the Premier League is the easy part, It''s staying there that is difficult." So promotion it is! Roll on May!
11. Well played Hucks! Peter Grant obviously made a good impression as well. I Don''t suppose you got Hucks number did you? I could do with a lift to Carrow Road tomorrow at about 2.45pm and if he happened to be in the area..............
12. Gallachers not world class but he''s not a bad keeper. Yes there are better keepers around but if you were the manager with a limited transfer budget where would you spend it? I would certainly stick with Gallacher and choose to spend the money on improving the back four. Any keeper left totally exposed is going to concede goals. A strong back four to protect the keeper is far more important. If only we had sold Green whilst we were in the prem and re invested the money in a centre half!
13.
the board needs to come forward and explain roughly how much we have!! i reckon its all gone on another hotel or more  flats or something
You reckon its all gone on another hotel or more  flats or something? Tell me when have the club ever spent money on hotels or flats?
14.
Source is a guy who''s really good friends with Delia. They''re a really respected person and he sits with her at games alot!
A really repected person, really good friends with Delia and sits with her at games a lot? Isn''t that her husband, Michael Wynn Jones? Can you ask your ''source'' if Tilsons first question was "Can I bring my Freddy"?
15. Its unfortunate but I guess the FA have no choice to charge him. If the rules state that a player taking his shirt off on the pitch has to be booked then they can''t really ignore someone exposing their rear. Football - It used to be fun until the men it suits appeared.
16. It would of been good to see the corner of the stadium completed. However it is far more cost effective to build on top of the city in terms of cost per seat. The extra capacity created by building an infill would still leave the club needing more seats to meet demand so the best option was to take the money build on top of the city stand giving an approx 5000 extra seats. Only problem is how do we pay for it!
17. Doug is undoubtedly a good coach. The man has a massive amount of experience of coaching players. If you get the chance ask him about his time coaching a young Michael Owen. Unfortunately it appears it''s true that Doug''s role has been reduced to a ''balls & bibs'' role but this is down to our recently departed. As for his future I doubt he''s losing much sleep as he is going to retire at the end of the season anyway. As for Keith Webb, I''m sure that he''s a really nice bloke....................................................
18.
Alsso his a**e was pixilated out for fear of offending viewers.......Does anyone on here not have a backside of their own that they see quite regularly?........[:@]
My mum always said she needed eyes in her a**e but I didn''t know she meant to see her own backside!!! And yes this country has lost all sense of both reality and humour. I read about an Everton fan complaining that his young son was behind Barton and how disgusting it all was. Interestingly enough he made no complaint about the fans he was sitting near who continually sung about Bartons brother who is in prison being shall we say very popular in the showers!
19.
Yeah, I''d give Earnie a hug, but we''d have to win the Championship and the FA Cup before I''d consider kissing him - Christ that guy is ugly. In fact, if we won both the League & FA Cup this term I''d probably roger him.
You surprise me Shyster, I never had you down as the ''easy'' type!
20. Blimey Shrimper! Can I have some of what you are on please?
21.
Dropping Shackell worked brilliantly. Not even on the bench so if a defender had got injured we had no cover whatsoever! I''m fed up with Worthy''s petty feuds with players! About time he grew up!
Shackells form has been poor and deserved to be dropped. As for saying there was no cover on the bench, what about Dublin? Wothington obviously had this in mind by also naming Jarvis and Thorne on the bench. PS Worthy OUT!!
22. In fairness to Colin he has transformed himself from a liability with no positional awareness into a quality looking full back over the summer. Which right backs are better than him in this league on current form?
23. LMAO! Funniest thing I have seen for ages. If a city player were to do that today how do you think Worthington would react?
24. The squad list on the official site lists him as number1 On the same official site there is a news article stating that he has the number 12 shirt. Which is it City?
