1.

Is this our way of getting into Europe next year, is there still a spot for fair play?
Ah Fair Play League. Norwich could only qualify if the Premier Leauge is in the top three of the Fair Play table, it''s not based club v club but League v League and then the team with the best fair play record in each League is selected. (It''s also not just based on cards, but points are scored for attitude of the team and thier fans).   It''s a very, very slim chance, I think the Premier League has only had a Fair Play team 4 or 5 times since it was begun back in the mid 90s.
Yep, didn''t the Scum get in that way about a decade or so ago?
 2. I think that would give us 58 goals, an improvement on last year''s total of 52 which was the highest number of goals scored outside the top 6.... I think you haven''t really thought this through.
 3. Top bloke. I guess the closest contemporary comparison is probably Balotelli, but even he of bathroom firework displays and telling cops that the reason he has 12,000 in cash sitting on his passenger seat is "because I''m rich, I can do what I want" fame isn''t even remotely close to Friday''s legend.
 4.
I was going to say no. It had pork in it, but I thought it would upset the religious posters.[;)]
The majority of Jews do eat pork, it''s only the ultra-conservative and orthodox that dont.
 5. Apologies if this has been posted before, but I''d not come across it until a few mins ago and I haven''t seen it on here.AVB tried to sign Tettey when he was at Porto (LINK).Doesn''t say much, just that Tettey is a good player and he tried to sign him.Hardly earth-shattering news but I thought it was worth a mention.
 6.
The stats from last season prove that Morison played a big part in us doing so well last season! My personal views on Morison are that hes a very capable forward whos proved he can do a job in the Premiership but sometimes he lets himself down when he lets his head drop and loses interest. The last two games su Morison up completely! On Tuesday against Scunthorpe he didn''t look up for it and was poor as a result. Today he was interested and caused Spurs a lot of problem leading the line very well.
I agree with every word of this.
 7. Doesn''t hughton have to name it today? If so, I think I remember at least one of our players will miss out? Anyone confirm if that''s correct and if so who it is? I''d assume it would be Ward to miss out if someone did as he is clearly last in line for a CB spot atm - probably go on loan next week imo
 8. for the second half of last season, and I slated him for it. Credit where it''s due, he looked a different player today, much more lively and interested and that''s the kind of effort and performance he needs to keep putting in to silence the critics. Thought he was absolutely excellent when he came on, he seemed to have got his head and attitude right and that showing was far more like the player who impressed in the first half of last season.Well done lad, keep it up.
 9.
Game over, we looked finished here.
LOL.
 10.
Is Bennett fit?   Assuming he''s not I''d go:                                 Ruddy R. Martin      Barnett       Bassong        Garrido                     Howson      Johnson Snodgrass            Hoolahan              Pilkington                                Holt(C)   Rudd, R. Bennett, Tierney, Tettey, Surman, Morison, Jackson
Yep that''d be my pick too. Only thing I''d consider is Tettey for Johnson, mainly because I''m interested to see what he''s like lol
 11. Loza better be as good as we hope if we do get injuries up front, as he''s pretty much next in line you would expect.
 12.
It is definitely us
you''ve not been wrong yet. I trust this.
 13. Looks like it''s Huddlestone going to fulham. I''d imagine our lot are down there anyway tonight so Kane could well be us.
 14. Thanks for the update, I was just wondering what you were doing.I''ve just had a rolo cookie.
 15.
That hardly screams a better goal threat than last year - and has to last us until mid jan.
Are we not allowed to sign anyone when the window opens at the start of Jan then [;)]
 16. This sounds like it could well be us given Hughton''s Spurs links. Wouldn''t be surprised at all. Know literally nothing about him other than he is very highly rated. Any one actually seen anything of him??
 17. Yep spot on LDC. I''ll be disappointed if we don''t add another striker, however, we are NOT "certainly relegated" as some posters have suggested. I think we will find it more difficult without another forward option, but the midfield are all capable of 6 or 7 goals each so we''re not going to be totally toothless as some seem to think. Definitely not the end of the world.
 18.
Thanks for pointing that out.  Don''t think any of us were really 100% sure when it closed... Great debut on the message board...
Yeah I''m surprised there aren''t any other threads about it to be honest.
 19. Loan window re-opens next week (only for outgoing for us) so may not happen until then.
 20.
I''ve always liked Jerome, strong, fast, powerful player.
Yeah, I''ve seen a lot of negative response to Jerome, but I quite like him. Would need to recapture his form of a few years ago when he was banging them in for fun at Cardiff. His history in the Prem has him as an 8-10 goal striker but would at least give us a different option to what we''ve got.
 21.

James Nurseyā€¸@JamesNursey#NCFC boss Hughton likes #SCFC Cameron Jerome & I reckon he could get him but apparently he has someone else lined up. Dunno who tho
Heskey
Surely not. why would we go for Heskey? He''s a donkey. We have two big men, and both are better than him. at least Jerome has a bit of pace!
 22.
Aww bless.(you might want to check the bio of that twitter account)
Lol I saw that, can''t believe how many people fell for it.
 23.
Closer style to Morison than Jackson as he doesn''t even have the pace or Morison, let alone Jackson.Sorry but I don''t agree with you on the style of play of CMS and I don''t agree that CMS has a poachers instinct either. He could sign for us and it could work. Let''s face it we have signed plenty of other donkeys who have done ok for us in the past.
Lol. So you think CMS, known for his work rate, pace , hassling, running at and taking on defenders and being in the right place in the right time is similar to Morison, not Cinnamon? Are you actually serious? (Btw he is far quicker than Morison, it''s not even close, I don''t know how you would come to the conclusion he is slower than Moro if you''d seen him play, that''s a really weird statement)
 24.
think we''ve all got the drift we''ve "kick it off"....anyone that differs in opinion (whichever way the wind happens to be blowing), would appear to be incapable of rational thought/stupid/thick *delete as applicable and anything of that ilk..........card well and truly marked.
No, as I''ve explained previously, informed opinions I don''t have a problem with. People spouting absolute nonsense I have a problem with. People stating that CMS would be a disaster and certain relegation as if it is fact falls into the nonsense category. Anyone capable of thinking for themselves would understand that. By the same token anyone saying he would get 20+ goals guaranteed (not that I have seen anyone saying this) would fall into the nonsense category. I don''t really have an opinion on this one way or another - I think CMS is an underwhelming signing if it happens compared to some of the names we''ve seen linked, however, if you think about it logically, it makes a lot of sense, because he is similar to Jackson, but stronger, taller and slightly more clinical, and there seems to be a consensus that we play better with Jackson in the team because of his work rate and movement dragging defenders out of position and creating space. He lacks the clinical edge to be prolific at this level. CMS on the other hand, has that poacher''s instinct and clinical touch that we lack. So to be honest it could go either way, he could be great, he could be crap. As you should be able to see, it is not because people''s opinions differ, it is the combined effect of slating the guy as not good enough before he even signs for us, and not understanding what kind of player CMS is/not knowing ANYTHING about him (as whoever compared him to Morison clearly doesn''t, they literally couldn''t have more different styles). All I''ve seen all day is "Only 9 goals in the Championship for Brighton". But anyone capable of thinking, can look a bit deeper and see the reasons why he may not have scored as many goals as he is capable of last year, and in a system that suits his style better, such as a 442 playing off Holty, he could be lethal.Anyone who cannot comprehend that and definitively states he will be $hit and condemns us (7th highest scorers in the Prem last season) to relegation because we sign him is thick/stupid/incapable of rational thought. We still have a full squad of other players who are more than capable of getting the goals to keep us up, and defensively we should be much tighter this season which will help with our points tally.
