  1. Maybe I'm missing something but surely not much is going to change with some conglomerate purchasing an 18% share? How much of the share sale goes into the club? (if any) Is someone with a minor stake going to be willing to inject further funds into the club?
  2. Although the chart does show a trend in the level of racism in certain countries is more than others, it also relies on the notion that the human race are a very honest bunch. Some won't like this 🤪.
  3. We aren't going to be able to rely on Pukki forever and he's been paid very well and had his career revived here. It has worked both ways. I am wondering if times are needing to move on for this squad.
  4. I remember one season not so long ago that Chelsea had something like 30 odd youngsters out on loan.
  5. I cannot stand cruelty to animals!! The idea that sport for some is more important than an animal suffering makes my blood pressure rise. Fenway Frank - your comment makes you look like you shouldn't own a dog despite your profile pic.
  6. Well you're here as well. Did the OP start the thread with the hope nobody would give their opinions? This isn't a legal forum and people are allowed to give their opinions even if it doesn't agree with yours.
  7. I do find it strange that 2 players have now said this and i don't see any motive to make it up.
  8. No surprise here. There seemed to be some odd belief from many on this forum that he was going to stay and tear up the championship, as if we were wrapping him up in cotton wool until then. He cost something like 8 million - our club doesn't invest that kind of money for an academy player. He struggled to make the squad infront of semi-fit players. Hopefully we can claw back a bit of cash although effectively no chance of breaking even.
  9. I stand corrected. I'm going by what I remember at the time. I know he left the country not long after the QPR game and was fairly disgruntled.
  10. He was arrested after the game for the spitting incident then got the first plane back to France. He was clearly a hot head and the QPR fans got on his back early on when they realised in glee that he would react to anything. Edit: I think he was questioned by police and not arrested but immediately departed the country after.
  11. I don't think we'll have any saleable assets after Aaron's. The self funded model will run out of steam soon. Players like Rashica and Tzolis we are probably due to make a loss on.
  12. Great professional and very loyal. I hate the way his name his now branded around like some sort commodity now we're ready to move him on. I wouldn't swap him for 10 Cantwell's.
  13. No issue with the Rupp decision. He's one of those that hasn't played consistently and has suffered 2 relegations with the club. Sometimes moving on a player even with decent technical ability is the right decision. I wouldn't imagine his wages were cheap either.
  14. I don't really see how running onto the pitch and grabbing or jumping up and down on your own players adds to the experience. I'd just take the promotion. More often than not the players look uncomfortable.
  15. Not condoning the violence that occurred but play stupid games and win stupid prizes springs to mind.
  16. Looks like Oli McBurnie hasn't done himself proud either: Stamping on a forest fan on the floor
  17. I'm not even sure it has anything to do with football - some people just love violence and chaos and get carried away when they have the opportunity to behave however they please. Is not even like they have been promoted yet.
  18. Need stitches and the so called fan ran off. What a way to ruin your team's win in a playoff and then the coward sprints off. Sickening behaviour. There is nothing lower.
  19. We still get to play a part in this league and other leagues. Final day of the season and if we turn up we can change the future of champions League football. We beat spurs and Arsenal win then everything changes. Who do we prefer? Personally I'd be amused if we turn spurs over (unlikely) on the final day and arsenal get the championship league spot. It does make our final game somewhat important. I will be watching.
