  1. The point about Skipp and Buendia is spot on. So important to our “turnovers” last season. Let’s see what happens during the remainder of the window and when we’ve played “lesser opponents”.
  2. Tbf he’s said it enough times that he won’t be renewing it and would even take a break if he had to. He’s always been refreshingly up front about things so why bother trying to renew if he’s made it clear that he won’t?
  3. https://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/2021/08/06/villa-ceo-hints-at-the-cooling-of-cantwell-interest/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=villa-ceo-hints-at-the-cooling-of-cantwell-interest
  4. Is that Bali Mumba doing his best impersonation of Raheem Sterling, but with more hair? Hope he plays as well as him this season! 💪🏽😍
  5. Absolutely love it and will buy. GK kit is great too In fact, the last away kit I bought was the black away kit with the white Aviva logo on the front. Lovely
  6. Maybe they’d want Todd as he’s similar in style and English? Not sure on what type of player Bailey is tbh
  7. I’m sure they could get both players if Grealish does go. Will be a massive fee
  8. I get what you’re saying, but realistically he’ll go if they do come in for him. Doesn’t seem like Villa are messing around this window and they supposedly have a good relationship with Webber so if they do go for Todd then I’m sure it’ll happen fairly quickly. I guess we’ll find out soon enough!
  9. Big if, but I’d imagine it’d be slightly more than Emi’s fee was. I’m sure they’ll have options lined up if that did happen though. Let’s see what happens. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a flurry of activity late in the window
  10. When does it end? I’m sure I read October somewhere in the terms and conditions, but can’t seem to find it now
  11. Raheem Sterling is not human.. to maintain that pace until the last minute of extra time.. insane
  12. Just cannot see Spurs letting Skipp go permanently. Imagine if he does come on loan and does well? That’s his value rocketed and I’m sure they’d want to give him a chance (like Kane eventually got his).
  13. Definitely agree with the first part there. I remember us not being clinical enough at the top end either, particularly in the second half of the season. Hopefully that will be remedied this window
  14. You never win anything with kids.. But seriously, both Skipp and Gilmour appear to display maturity beyond their years. With Gibson/Hanley behind them they would hopefully do well. I’ll tell you what does excite me a little bit though.. the thought of utilising a middle 3 of Skipp/Gilmour/McLean in some games with McLean perhaps being furthest forward or 1 or 2 of them driving forward from deep. McLean would also be there to lend experience and a bit of calmness/encouragement/feedback as required. Or at least that’s how it plays out in my head!
  15. Seems to be the pinkun and athletic boys that get the “official” gossip now? 👍🏽
  16. Is this because we’ve only just decided on a main sponsor (Lotus it seems 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽)
  17. Quite enjoy this approach as it stops the unnecessary daydreaming over players we’re definitely not in for (for me anyway)
  18. There are many names for the residents of Goole.. none of them pleasant 🤪 🧟‍♂️
  19. I think it’s very easy to state “it was clear to me he was in cardiac arrest” and “dead before he hit the ground” by simply looking at it from a television feed. Someone presenting with a seizure may not appear to be breathing normally and may be “spasming” or convulsing, but that doesn’t mean they are lifeless or in cardiac arrest.. I’m playing Devil’s advocate here so don’t take it the wrong way. You obviously have knowledge and experience and your example of the car accident sounds truly awful, but I think it is too easy to say the situations are the same and that Eriksen was definitely in cardiac arrest before he hit the floor. Ultimately, the team doctor (who obviously has a lot of knowledge and experience himself) stated Christian was breathing and had a pulse.. when it was clear he had arrested they started CPR. My main concern was that the defib and medical team seemed to take a while to get to him and didn’t show the same urgency that the team doctor and his assistant did. In the end the outcome was successful and hopefully they will get to the bottom of it all, but I’m sure Christian and his family are counting their lucky stars that he was in the right place with the right people around him when it happened!
  20. Correct. If he was breathing effectively and his heart was in a normal rhythm then you would not start resuscitation. Therefore, those 2 mins wouldn’t be a delay. However, there are situations where a pulse may be present, but the heart is actually in an unstable rhythm that is unsustainable and needs defibrillation e.g. “pulsed” ventricular tachycardia. This is where the defib being present earlier to a s s ess the heart’s rhythm may have been beneficial
