Reggie Strayshun 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Martin Jol is clearly intent on giving Hughton a run for his money as to who will be fired first.
Making Plans 957 Posted November 9, 2013 Hull also 3 down - a win today is vital as it''ll get us well & truly back in the mix

yoda 0 Posted November 9, 2013 God knows ! even 2-0 never happens , for some reason we only win games by 1 goal I must say i''m quite envious of Southampton right now .
ReadingCanary 0 Posted November 9, 2013 One of the most dramatic games i''ve seenOnly Norwich can go from 3-0 up at half time to 4-3 full time
Helsinki canary 302 Posted November 9, 2013 Looks like Jol will win the Sack race, Hughton has to wait till 8pm, Jol might just sneak in before that! Look at Southampton, 3rd in the league and on fire, Delia and the old guard used to use Charlton as the role model , Southampton should now be setting our example, sacked a nice guy which was very unpopular move but seems to have been a master stroke, Have you got a rabbit in the bag Mr McNally
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted November 9, 2013 So if we discount WBA and Swansea when WAS the last time we went 3-0 up in the PL?[*-)]
Dubai Mark 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Many side will get tonkings this season and sometimes even from the shall we say lesser sides. As for Southampton, yes they have done really well, but they have a different level of finance available than Norwich City (who paid off their debt!!!) and have built very strongly with some big signings now for at least a couple of seasons, showing that going into administration can be a good thing! Reggie Strayshun 0 Posted November 9, 2013 It''s funny how the "don''t bother replacing the manager...it ''s never worked anywhere else" brigade have a Wenger type blind spot when it comes to Southampton......

Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted November 9, 2013 I dislike Suarez as a person but he is the finest player I have seen at Carrow Road for many a year and he is running Fulham ragged.
wcorkcanary 4,783 Posted November 9, 2013 4 now, wonder if Suarez would come to us?
ReadingCanary 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Fulham are so much worse than usThey are just a bunch of individuals. At least we actually have a team

[/quote] Absolute excuse making drivel. There is very little difference on paper between the Norwich and Southampton squads. The difference is in the approach to the game by the two teams. Watch it and develop an understanding. Southampton are tenacious in tackling, press high up the pitch ( as a team ), they don''t score many goals ( usually ) but what chances they do get come out of creating ( not panicking ) rather than hopefully shooting from distance. Today, against Hull in the first half, Southampton had three attempts on goal and scored three times. They give the appearance of being fearless and, as a result, are confident. In comparison Norwich generally look fearful, particularly so as we move forward.
Reggie Strayshun 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Couldn''t agree more Reading . We have a better, deeper squad than Fulham, and a stronger club ethic. That''s what makes Hughton''s failure so hard to swallow.
Surfer 1,547 Posted November 9, 2013 100% agree with you there Yankee.
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted November 10, 2013 I know this isn''t the answer that the question was asked for but I think the last time we were 3-0 up in the PL was WBA. However if we discount that then it''s another game from last season Swansea away and if we discount that then I think it''s Chelsea at home in 1994. Probably best not to use that particular stat as a stick to beat Hughton with eh Reggie? Or the one about gaining points from losing positions that you were wrong about last week.
