BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted October 31, 2012 Whilst the opening post is hardly to be taken seriously it is undeniable that the Scandinavian market is lucrative and has been for a number of years. I remember many years ago going to Highbury to watch a dull 0-0 draw between Arsenal and the City. Ruel Fox broke clear once and had the entire Arsenal faithful transfixed at the possible outcome, but that''s all I can remember about the game. More memorable was my visit to a nearby pub after the match. It was full of Norwegians who supported Arsenal on a regular basis. A lovely bunch, they spoke highly of Norwich and they told me that their regular trips proved relatively inexpensive as they came with their other halves, who saved a fortune shopping in the West End and because the beer, which they consumed in bucket loads, was less than half the price they paid at home. Norway was that pricey and still is, whilst their earning make them rich people abroad. We could do with a Scandanavian support base to add to the Club''s coffers and the prosperity of our City cente.
