It''s waht your not seeing that''s so important, Howson''s constant movement opens up passing options for the other players, against a team like Spurs (who press very high) this is invaluable.

Players starting to sit deeper, understandable, can''t keep pressing like we were for an entire 45 without some time on the ball. Need to either get on the ball or get it out of play for a breather.

Great performance from City this first half. we were the better team and deserved the lead.More of the same for half2 please!!

Only thing that stopped us scoring was the crossbar and really good save by Friedel, if we keep on playing like we did most of the first half, we''ll easily get a point, if not all three.

Well, we outplayed Spurs that half. Those recent signings of Garrido and Bassong and two up front have made a big difference.

Only reason we haven''t scored is due to the crossbar and a brilliant save.

Boos for Spurs as they go off.

Yellow! Yellows! Yellows! as we go off.

Brilliant performance, more of the same please Mr Hughton.

I would keep the team the same until the 60-70th minute then bring Tettey and Morison on, not sure if Hoolahan would do enough trackign back etc but he would give us the creativity etc.

Good first half.

Definitely the better team, had a couple of good chances and mostly restricting them to long range efforts.

Very composed at the back. Bassong and Barnett looking good together.

Jackson putting in a shift up front.

Spurs look poor, and nervous at the back I think we can nick this if things remain the same in the 2nd half.

Exceptionally confident on the ball, crisp accurate passing.....just the cutting edge missing, but Tottenham have Friedel to thank for the scoreline remaining 0-0.

Very encouraging!
